It amazes me. Why can’t these people just report the truth? Howard County’s WWTP went without power and overflowed raw sewage into the bay at the rate of 2 million gallons per hour during the storm, and who knows how many others did the same? Well, we don’t, because the MSM will not report on it.

Va.'s Bay Waters Closed to Shellfish Harvesting

RICHMOND, Va. (AP)- The Virginia Department of Health is closing the state's portions of the Chesapeake Bay to shellfish harvesting due to floodwaters caused by tidal flooding and excessive rainfall.

The agency on Monday said the emergency closure also includes the inner portion of Virginia's Eastern Shore.

Officials say heavy rainfall from Hurricane Sandy has caused extensive flooding and that shellfish from those areas is currently unacceptable for consumption because of potential microbiological and chemical pollution hazards.

The affected shellfish are bivalve mollusks including oysters and clams, but not crabs or other fish. The agency says eating shellfish from the closed areas could lead to illness.

Salisbury Zoo Update

We still have not received word from the City NOR any of our viewers as to the condition of the Salisbury Zoo and its animals after Hurricane Sandy.

You would think with the hundreds of thousands of people who have been on this Site over the past three days we would hear something, so it must not be good news.

Rescue Crews Give The Eastern Shore Relief From Hurricane Sandy

Rescue crews have been arriving to the Eastern Shore from all over the United States. I spoke to another news station from the Mid West today who told me they had crews coming to Ocean City as well.

Driving Ban Lifted, Some Roadways Still Flooded

Dover -- DelDOT News Update --- Wednesday, October 31, 2012

Governor Markell has lifted the earlier driving ban on Delaware roadways. However, motorists should still exercise extreme caution especially when driving through low lying areas.

DART bus service and paratransit have resumed, and normal tolls are being collected on I-95 and Route 1.

However, there are some roads that may still be partially or completely blocked by water on the road:

Post-Tropical Cyclone Sandy

Thousands of federal employees are converging on recovery efforts in the aftermath of Post-Tropical Cyclone Sandy. The work spans 10 states and the District of Columbia. New York City and New Jersey appear to have gotten the worst of the storm damage. Administrator Craig Fugate said FEMA pre-positioned more than 15 hundred generators along the East Coast. Health and Human Services moved medical assistance teams to affected areas. FCC and the Energy Department sent teams to consult with local authorities on restoring telecommunications and electricity. Fugate said FEMA has more than $3 billion in its relief fund. He said that was enough to get the agency through the emergency.

Federal Government To Reopen Wednesday

Washington and Baltimore area federal agencies reopen this morning. Unscheduled leave and telework remain as options, according to the Office of Personnel Management. Office buildings were closed for two days when Hurricane Sandy rumbled up the East Coast. OPM said non-emergency employees must notify their supervisor if they plan to use unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework. Agency facilities locally suffered only minor damage, mostly downed trees and leaky roofs. Metro rail, MARC and VRE trains are operating on a normal weekday schedule. In New York City, subways are still shut down. In Manhattan, the U.S. Attorney's Manhattan offices and the federal courthouse are closed today.

Sand Covers Route 1; IR Bridge Declared Sound

Highway closed until Thursday from Dewey to Bethany

The abandoned roadway leading up to the old Indian River Inlet bridge is scattered in bits and pieces across the beach, showcasing the destructive power of Mother Nature.

After a visual inspection of the new bridge, a Department of Transportation engineer said the span is structurally sound, but a breach of the barrier dune on the north side of the inlet buried the approaches under several feet of sand.

"It's through the vision of former governors and our current governor that got the new bridge in place," said DelDOT Secretary Shailen Bhatt. "We opened it earlier this year, and it just goes to show how important infrastructure is to both our state and the tourism community, but also times like these, where if we had not had the new bridge in place, we would be talking about a lot different of a story right now."

Obama And Biden Indicted By Florida Grand Jury

(Ocala, Florida, October 30, 2012). Larry Klayman, the founder and chairman of Freedom Watch today announced that President Barack Obama and Vice President Joseph Biden have been criminally indicted for having willfully released classified national security information concerning the raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound, U.S. and Israeli war plans concerning Iran and their cyber-attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.  The release of this information, among other harm to U.S. national security, resulted in the killing of members of Seal Team Six by terrorists and the arrest and imprisonment of American covert agents by Pakistan, such as the doctor who aided the CIA with regard to the bin Laden assassination.

U.S.-Israeli war plans with Iran have also been compromised.

A true bill of indictment was issued by a Citizens’ Grand Jury in Ocala, Florida, who reviewed evidence and voted unanimously to indict Obama and Biden at 6:02 pm on October 29, 2012.

The criminal defendants, Obama and Biden, will now be given notice of their indictment, arraigned and then tried for their alleged crimes.
