As If Things Weren't Bad Enough For The City!

While you're out there building a $10,000,000.00 Fire Station, perhaps you should be keeping tabs on structures that aren't known to be on marsh land and how badly they're shifting?

This is the Parking Garage across the street from the Library. If I had a car that needed to be parked there every day, I'd find a new location. Not only would I be in fear of my own life every time I entered that structure, I'd do everything in my powers to relocate my huge investment and park elsewhere.

Just like the Zoo, just like the WWTP, they'll come back with, oh, there's really nothing wrong with this. HOWEVER, I was standing there with one of the biggest Contractors on the East Coast who saw it and immediately said, "That's A Problem!"

Ladies, park somewhere else for a while.

I Personally Removed The Graffiti In Pittsville

A week ago I went over to Pittsville and decided to remove the graffiti that had been painted in the Car Wash, owned by the Pittsville Fire Department. Nothing was getting done and with so many volunteers over there getting the biggest awards because they're so strong, no one even knew it was on the walls. No biggie though, it's removed and gone and it actually didn't take all that long to remove it.

Old Courthouse Disrepair

I find it VERY interesting how the City can go around to all the black neighborhoods and throw their weight around insisting good tax paying people fix their older homes to perfection or they'll lose their home.

The City treats their own buildings like crap and this building is a perfect example. If I were Shanie Shields and I wanted to prove a point, I'd insist there be an inspection in the basement of this building on behalf of the African American Community. I'd expect to find asbestos in the lower level of this building and illegal fluorescent fixtures throughout the rest of the building.

You want to call a spade a spade, bring it on Shanie. Do something for once for your people. IMO, you do nothing for them. Oh, you're a nice woman and you know I like you personally. However, business is business and you are paid to do a job. IF they want to go around your neighborhoods and put a hurting on people so badly they'll take away their homes, hit them below the belt like I always do.

This is a story just as big as the Zoo problems and the WWTP problems. People may be getting sick in these buildings and if you don't care, prove it by doing nothing at all. Show the people you represent you have no powers to do anything about anything in the City of Salisbury. Come on Shanie, show the world Joe Albero is completely wrong! The ball is in your court now Shanie.

The Dog Is Back!

Look, all of you know how much an animal lover Jennifer and I are. However, we do not subject people to our animals like this guy does. I could see if this dogs tail was wagging, he looked inviting and the whole nine yards. However, when I walked pas this dog yesterday he started growling, (which never happens to me) and the owner instantly yelled at him to come back into the store.

As far as I'm concerned, the dog must go. If this man doesn't voluntarily remove this animal from this building for good, I'll take maters into my own hands and have him removed. This is the second time this dog has growled at me and it will not happen again. I'm not waiting around till the dog gets to know me, there's something wrong with that animal.

Shopping is for humans, not animals, unless the name of your store is PetSmart.

There Is NO Money!

Although the Riverwalk, (IMO) could have been the biggest attraction to Salisbury, if done right, it is falling apart everywhere you turn! Sink holes are evident, large sections of concrete are slowly sinking, effecting the railing along the walk way and probably supporting the concrete to stay in one place while there's actually no ground underneath it!

Filling in these large and deep holes with pebbles isn't going to cut it and pretty soon someone is going to get killed. The City knows there's a problem, just like the blacktop road conditions all over the City. However, Barrie Tilghman, Mike Dunn & Gary Comegys have spent every dine the City has and are covering up the budget and the audit in order to make sure you citizens don't know just how bad things actually are.

Look Folks, there's no question that Barrie Tilghman's legacy will be similar to Marion Barry in Washington, D.C. years ago. Not in the drug sense but in the corruption sense. We're not going to get to the bottom of her shenanigans unltil she's gone from office. However, it's time to crack the whip. It's time to vote and get a total replacement team in there and that means the removal of Gary Comegys.

It's time to bite the bullet and deal with all the financial dreadlocks this Mayor has put us all in and get out of these holes. 2 more years of her bullshit and the City will be bankrupt for sure, seriously. "Anyone" with a Gary Comegys sign on their property is a person in which Gary & Barry have done favors for in the past. No one can be that stupid to think this guy is a light at the end of the tunnel. Gary has been popping out light bulbs the entire time he's been on the Council and he must go.

Talk About Trash

This woman walked right up to this Dumpster and threw a bag of trash into it and walked away. Hey Bubba, is this the woman you and Mikey were speaking about at that City Council Meeting where you stated you even saw this person walk out to the dumpster on the Plaza with a bag of trash and actually put it in one of those cans? Is this that woman Bubba?

No different from any of the other things you two have promised, nothing has been done about it, IDIOTS! There is no plan, we all know that. I know, here's an idea! Why don't you take one or two of those cans and place them towards the west end of the Plaza so people don't walk the final quarter of the way and throw their trash right on the ground instead? Your last can is by the City Bestro, yet you have 4 cans, (at least) at the east end, closer to your Offices. Go figure?

We want equal rights at the west end of the Plaza! We promise, we won't throw our trash in those can. We understand it's for the patrons only. Oh, we're all still waiting for your bright ideas and solutions for this problem?

When you get to be Bill Duvall's age, seeing a photo of a naked young lady is the thrill of a lifetime! This is what Bill Duvall is asking me to personally produce. Yet, (like a typical lawyer) he doesn't do so directly. He suggests people go over to Gunpowder's site and review an article in which Bill Duvall simple says, "I AGREE."

Well Bill, rather than exposing Mike Dunn's Wife all over the Internet, how about I just send you the picture for your personal pleasure with the understanding and agreement that you will not post it and or give it out to others to use?

This way you'll get the goods and do with it what you'd like, other than exposing this woman in bad taste. She's done nothing to you and she's done nothing to me. As much as I can't stand Mike Dunn, this would be over the top, unless he asks for it like lying to the Press that it does NOT exist.

Therefore, I strongly suggest to the Press that they go ahead and ask Mike Dunn if such a photo exists and IF Mike Dunn lies, I'll produce the photo on my Blog. Other than that, I'm NOT producing it, period. Get over it Dirty Old Men because it's not going to happen. Let me know if you'd like to see it Bill?

Where The Heck Did This Come From?

I found this vehicle parked across the street from the GOB this morning. It just seemed very out of place?

Downtown Plaza Parking

The van you see just above was parked illegally this morning in Lot 15 where there were probably 20 open parking spaces at 9:30 a.m.

While speaking to some of the Sheriff's Deputies the other day, they simply couldn't believe all the photos I had been producing with so many cars parked illegally.

In the first picture, that truck truly could barely get by. Once he felt safe he simply stopped his vehicle and stared down the Idiot who had parked there blocking his way through.

On another note, I was with a few friends this morning on the Plaza and it was their first time visiting this area. They said, I can't believe with all these cars flying through here that they even allow traffic through this area. Why don't they just close this down?

It seems that "everyone" I talk to about this says the same thing, yet the Mayor and some of the Council insisted this was a bright idea to open it back up. Between the massive illegal parking there and the danger of NO ONE driving the posted 10 mph through there, I don't believe merchants are picking up sales simply because you can barely drive through there, never get a parking spot, having to park on either side of the Plaza anyway, it just makes no sense and is more like a tease.

I'd like to see it closed down personally and make better use out of what's available with that open space. I can see outside vendors selling products there. Some music being played there on weekends. They're missing a great opportunity to bring in more people, spend more time on the Plaza and raise far more income by doing so.

Besides, it's now proven that what the Mayor and Council have done there is a lose, lose situation. Time to bring someone in with some business sense and start moving things forward for the City.

I've Located The Driver

A volunteer that was promoted to the 3rd ranking officer in control of the Salisbury Fire Department while he had less than 2 yrs service with the City.

He is a volunteer who basically runs the entire fire department. He has that vehicle with a free gas card. He can take it anywhere he wants and responds to any call he wants to, even though other Chief officers are on the call. He jumped over numerous volunteers with more training and time.

Yep, you just gotta love those FOB's!

My Impression Of Mike Dunn In 2 Years

I too have a successful business in which started from next to nothing in yearly sales to being a multimillion dollar company.

There came a day when Paris Glendenning came to me personally and asked what the State of Maryland could do to encourage relocating 4 manufacturing plants to Maryland. They offered me buildings in Baltimore, FOR FREE and 20 years tax free to boot.

I refused to make a deal because I had always been taught to not take favors from politicians as they will always call you on those favors. I explained just that to Paris and he respectfully understood.

I'm not saying people shouldn't take advantage of these kind of deals but I simply felt that considering my business held such a huge net profit, I shouldn't be the one taking advantage of opportunities when I could afford to do these things on my own. Perhaps it's pride, I'm not sure?

Nevertheless, when you become successful and you're making money, it's not time to take advantage of the taxpayers who ultimately get punished for these underhanded deals. For example, if it was a new company struggling, then I can see making a deal. This is a company with at least 20 years under its belt and I personally think it's VERY wrong!

IF they worked this deal out with the City of Salisbury, yet they only pay $6.00 an hour to their employees, they should look at their savings and offer that money back to the people that are making the company successful. In manufacturing, the best companies have employees that are proud to be there and quality control goes through the roof. The cheap paying companies get what they pay for and from what I understand this is a company that manufactures things for our Troops, who deserve the Mercedes version of anything we send them.

Forgive me for being so long winded but you either make this a great America or you cheat America. Barrie Tilghman, Mike Dunn and Gary Comegys are cheating Americans. They did not demand they have a specific number of employees to qualify for this break. The company moved here because they needed this facility. They are spending some $3,000,000.00 to improve the building, BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO. This does not impress me because this is what is necessary for them to be in business.

Stop the free gifts to experienced companies. They chose to move here and built out this facility LONG BEFORE they got this tax break, so think about that for a while. I'd run business very differently if I were in Office, that's for sure. The difference between Barrie Tilghman and Joe Albero is, Barrie is failing the City of Salisbury and is a former Housewife. Joe Albero is a proven successful businessman who doesn't take advantage of others to support his own manufacturing company. Someone needs to make a difference and the free give aways are killing the City of Salisbury and Wicomico County. I just wonder when "PRIDE" will ever come back to America?

Let me say this as well. When you're in sales you're NOT a successful sales person if you GIVE AWAY everything. Good business people know how to do business the proper way and they give back when they're successful, hence the Hazel Family, etc. When you're selling the City of Salisbury, you have to have a City that has something to offer. Salisbury has "NOTHING" to offer businesses, therefore they GIVE AWAY everything because they are desperate to get business in the City while businesses are getting smart and leaving once their deal tax free is gone. I even heard Perdue is considering relocating and leaving Salisbury. Look at the old Campbell's Soup Plant, Dresser Wayne and the list goes on and on.

Salisbury needs solid, experienced and caring leadership. We've watched this Mayor bully Police Officers and had them fired because of sexual harassment charges against the Chief. Several people from the Zoo and Public Works have been bullied and thrown away after 16 to 20 years plus of dedicated service. They "ALL" work for peanuts, with exception of the Bosses and this is no way to conduct a business. She is failing the City and a change needs to be made NOW! Please consider very careful who you consider voting for because Salisbury is in desperate need for "professional and caring leadership."

If You Have Emergency Lights On Your Vehicle.......

You too can park anywhere you want and take up as many spaces you want. What blew me away taking this picture was, I believe it's the exact same spot as the Police Car the other day! Maybe there's an oil slick under the tires whereas they cannot stop on time?

It kind of reminds me of the Doug Church parking all over Downtown. By the way, the parking meter people told me that Doug Church can park in the metered spots because his "partner" lives Downtown and they drive his Excursion. Dee, Dee, Deeee! Are they married? NO! Therefore, they are not partners. By the way, his partner doesn't drive that vehicle, Doug does.

Another Illegal Tree Stand On My Property

While visiting my property in Willards the other day I came across yet another illegal deer stand. The people using my property know very well who's land they are on and they even came in there and cut down some 30 to 50 trees to make it more clear to get off a shot.

As you can see, from here on out we're packing our own weapons, the property has been marked every 10 feet or so and if necessary we'll take care of our own business/property. Enough is enough!

There were Snow Geese feathers everywhere, traces of deer that had been shot out of season and all sorts of deer corn for bait and the whole nine yards. It just amazes me how bold these poachers can be. The difference between an animal and me, I SHOOT BACK! See Ya Soon!

In Other Words, This IS Peter Pan!

Once you read the article in this morning's Daily Times, (if you're smart enough to realize) this product is a private label product from Peter Pan.

As a manufacturer of many years, private labeling and outsourcing is the way to go these days. It allows you to make better deals with larger volume customers and at the same time, keep the list price of the main product, (in this case Peter Pan) up at a level you'll either pay the higher price thinking you're getting a better product or you'll buy the volume for the lower price. Either way, the manufacturer is way ahead of the game and the customers think they're getting a better deal. Heck, this photo is living proof in some cases we're in for the better deal.

Now here's my problem with the entire recall BS! My wife left the jar on the counter and I said, so what are you going to do with it? She replied, they're suggesting we throw it away and buy a new jar. OH NO! I said, was it a part of the recall? No, but that's what they said to do. I said, did you get sick and did our Grandson get sick from eating any of it? NO. And you're going to throw it away just because they suggest you do so? "I'm not eating it!"

Oh, the power of suggestion, That's right Folks, throw away every jar you have, EVEN IF IT'S 1/2 EMPTY and no one got sick! It cost the manufacturer NOTHING to suggest you throw any and all peanut butter so you can buy even more. Dee, Dee, Deeeee! I'm keeping mine and I'm going to eat the damn thing just out of principal. I'm SO brave!

I should add that our jar of peanut butter does NOT start with 2111. If it did, I would have thrown it out.
