A Comment About The Salisbury Zoo (3-9-2020)
So I went to the zoo this weekend and was heartbroken! The Ocelot is gone, the capabarra are gone, the spider monkeys are gone. The cotton top monkeys are gone. The wolf exhibit was empty. A lot of the owls are gone! The coati are gone! Looks like they are already removing the animals. Their exhibits now say they are being redesigned! More Lies!!!!!!!!

perhaps they'll make it into a "Zoo of the Mind".
They redesign the habitats and then you come in, walk around, and imagine the animals in their habitats...
I went to the zoo before Joe broke the story and those animals were already gone with those signs displayed. Not sure what that means but it was before Joe posted the article about them losing their accreditation
It's going to be a hologram zoo.
Good ole getto Salisbury. Goin' down fast.
They are redesigning the exhibits to house the members of the Salisbury City council and Mayors office because a zoo fit's their mentality better than where they are housed now.
Idk about the rest but I just saw the capybaras half an hour ago...
12:05 Don't be so foolish, they will surly waste even more money to have big cardboard cut outs of the animals to place in the habitats...
1:26 on that cardboard cut out will be a bar code they can scan so they can watch a video of the animal on their phones.
Apparently Salisbury has money for rainbow street painting, endless street demolition, round a bouts galore, and bike lanes that hurt bicyclists, but no money for a zoo or its upkeep.... glad to see those clowns have their priorities straight
1:32 PM Unfortunately, the zoo would probably be more popular than ever.
Palmer Gillis and a group of Day's cronies would like to get their hands on the zoo property.
Dont be surprised if this isn't in the works already.
That zoo is going to be torn down to build more Section 8 housing...
Crime rate will SKY ROCKET
Jake Day and the City Council should all be replaced you have taken something from the city that has been here as long as I have and I am in my seventies. You should all be ashamed for the foolish stuff you have done to make this city a laughing stock in Maryland, your quest for another Inner Harbor has ruined our history and something children had to enjoy for years to come. I am so sorry you made a first term as mayor and I and others fought bitterly to keep you from a second term sorry Wayne King did not win he is a good man and one with integrity, a sense of community, intelligent, and a good neighbor something you will never be able to claim. I wish he and the council could all be impeached or voted out of town.

They have been trying to get their hands on that property for years now.It was even suggested a few years ago about moving the zoo into the county, to get it out of Salisbury. The more that can move out of the city limits the more i like it. It would not hurt my feelings at all if i never had to go into the city limits ever again.
That was fast. What is Jake Day going to ruin next?
Well stated 4:09, jake is on the path to ruin Salisbury just as obama tried to ruin this country. Let's just hope after his second term enough people will see the facts and elect someone with the common sense and ability too turn this downward spiral around just as Trump did for our country.
How many roundabouts can be the soon-to-be-vacant zoo property hold?
They cleared the cages and space for Jake Day and his cronies
You get what you pay for. Skilled labor is not cheap and cheap labor is not skilled.
Saw the ocelot and the wolf last Sunday...first time ever that I’ve seen the ocelot.
Ain't that the truth!
