Ravens vs. Browns, Start 2nd Qtr
As the NFL copes with a ratings slump and ESPN slashes $80 million in salaries after losing 15,000 subscribers a day in October, another major issue facing the league continued to play out in week 15 - terrible attendance.
While many blame the kneeing epidemic of unpatriotic players refusing to stand for the National Anthem - which started in the summer 2016 pre-season by former San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick, others point to a boring season, cord cutters and broke millennials staying home.
Either way, it's ugly. Since most NFL attendance figures are based on "tickets distributed" as opposed to actual turnstile count, and most NFL ticket sales are to season-ticket holders, it's nearly impossible to tell how many people are simply choosing not to attend games for which they've already bought tickets. Except, pictures don't lie...

I hear ya but to be fair, It's the Browns. Lol
It has begun. The outrageous salaries of professional athletes, NFL; guaranteed contracts in MLB and NBA; the consumer pays the bills so with the economic environment we have been in for years has finally hit the entertainment sports industry. The movie industry was first, now sports.
The 32 white owners in the NFL better get a clue and quick!
We also have to quit watching and tell the Bars to turn off those stupid TV sets!
See them bow down for the National Anthem and take a knee. AMERICANS stand tall and proud with their hands over their hearts. AMERICANS LOVE this country. While this group HATES this country. God Bless America !!! God Bless our Federal, State and Local Police, God Bless our Veterans !!! God Bless our Doctor, Nurses and ALL our First responders !!!
Boycott !!! Boycott ASAP !!!Ray!!!
Injecting politics into a sports arena negates every reason fans have to follow sports.
That
Is.
Why.
The only thing the majority of them will be bowing down to now is the baby momma's and bankruptcy attorneys. These morons are too stupid to realize the money train only lasts for a couple of years
The tale of the tape is in concession sales. That data will tell the real story. Those businesses are losing their asses this season.
I have season tickets for my customers, and I can't give them away this year. No one wants to go. Won't buy them again next year. Waste of money.
They know exactly how many people are coming into the stands. Each one has to be validated and counted at the gates, whether purchasing a ticket that day or coming to see the game with a season ticket.
The State should tear the stadium down since it has too many seats. It could be replaced by a smaller stadium with fewer seats and save money.
Kneelers vs the Browns. The only reason I watched part of it was it was the only thing on when I sat down for lunch.
And they give Roger Goodell a $50 million / year contract... Explain that.
It's not a game, it's a business, with owners, managers and employees.
Oh Well , Better START Standing for our Nat'l Anthem !!!!
For the first time this year I watched the end of the Pats and Pittsburgh game and seeing the bad ref call on the touchdown catch I wont watch anymore this year.
FANTASTIC. By the way 9:30 Season ticket holders are counted as being there whether they attend a game or they are in the hospital.
Just heard one of the 32 white owners (Carolina) will sell his team at the end of the season. He's in his early 80's and selling his team because of sexual transgressions many years ago that included payoffs. Four to be exact.
When will this stop?
No use for athletes and owners who funnel money to radical groups whose intent is to attack all members of my race, my religion, my culture and country.
Proof we Don't need to cater to Spoiled Rotton , Overpaid
Racists Players ......!!!!!
