When this happens in our neighborhood at one of the many student rentals, we pick it all up the next day and dump it, loose, in the party hosts' front yard. It usually doesn't have to be done more than once before the point is driven home.
Most people were involved in at least one, if not many parties such as this when you were growing up. So don't be too judgemental because it's likely you have done worse...... such as give birth and neglect to raise your child correctly and with respect.
I went to SU (SSC at the time) and of course we had parties. However, we would never leave anything laying out or about in our yard/driveway/street. It is pretty simply - just clean up when it is done or very 1st thing in the morning. It really wasn't any big deal and was expected. I really don't get it.
You mean to tell me with all the useless driving around SPD does they had nooooo idea this was happening. Hell there are state littering signs all over the eastern shore saying $1,000 fine! Looks like they missed out on some good money there. Oh wait this country we don't enforce the laws on the books just make new ones.
I use to party here 12 years ago and it was just as bad, if not worse. I can see things haven't changed much lol. It was GROSS. The students renting these places were so careless. Most had holes in the walls, cigarette butts put out right in the crappy carpet. Trash piled around the entire apartment... Nobody took care of these and clearly still do not. It's gross!
The only people who paid to clean this up was the landlord. It was inside the private complex. Not public property - no taxpayer money spent. Yes it is a mess and obviously the residents and more than likely the attending guests took the partying too far however, the landlords are not slumlords. They care about the kids residing there and I am sure they cleaned it up and are responding accordingly to the situation.
Simple they are entitled to leave the mess for someone else to clean it up. And if you ask it was from other people (outsiders) not the wonderful college kids who are,so worried about pollution!
I guess none of you have been to big college parties. All the campus police need to do is ask the kids to clean it up. Don't need to post pictures. The kids will clean it up. Get it. Got it? Good. Quit the bitchin'.
4:15 Maybe just maybe the "kids" should have enough respect to clean it up themselves without being "told" to. Get it? Got it? It's called maturity. I bet you take care of all your "kids" problems don't ya?? Quit the excuses.
Lol. No race comments. Funny how when its your own how all comments are condemning less the race inspired, malice trash which is spewed. Disgusting and i d love to see the call log for this night. I know there was less than a cum ba yah here and i wonderif there were any arrests. If there wasnt, i'll conclude that this is priviledge on every level.
Funny how people are complaining about college kids trashing their own neighborhood and want police action but no Fuchs given about murders and drug dealing in the rest of Da'Bury.
This was a common occurrence when I attended University of Delaware from '97-'00 and West Virginia University from '01-'05. WVU was crazy. Usually took a couple days to get it cleaned up. It happens, no big deal.
5:22 No I am not a slumlord or any other kind of landlord. I own my own residence. I am familiar with the complex and the company that owns the complex and they are very responsible landlords.

Spd rookie cops wear vigina hats while working.
This is ridiculous the slum lords should have to pay for all clean ups that happen if they have it on camera they should charge their owners as well.
I wonder if the downtown will look like that after the protest march?

Of course it will.
SU has a police department and a Chief that needs accountability apparently.

More than likely, just like the DC march/protest!
Hypocrite much.

City property - city police problem
But the sex was good...
School is back in Session and spring is just around....hell its already here. Enjoy Salisbury, your cash kids are back!
Rumor has it that the landlords cleaned it up because the city was going to fine them 20k.
