What right does the government have to tell someone they can't grow their own vegetables or have a few chickens for eggs? I moved out in the country so there wouldn't be these rules. I also like to hang my clothes on the line. Its better for the fabric and the clothes smell fresher! Just another form of tyranny!!! I think civil disobedience is in order!!!

Could it be all the GMO crap, and Monsanto wanting to control the worlds food supply??? NO??? Maybe it is because they want you to pay the piper??? NO?? Maybe they want to control your life??? NO?? Maybe they they think you are to stupid to live without help??? NO??? Well you all show the govt you need them to dictate how you live and all that so food is part of living...
So if not any of those logical actual reasons for why the govt doesn't want you to be self sufficient, then what or why do you think they don't want you to???? Oh that's right you can't offer up anything to the convo except to complain how you don't like this or that yet you still sit there and let them do it to others, Why??? because it didn't affect you, but soon it will and as usual it will be to late to stop or help you or anyone else...
That's messed up when a regulation can overturn a law.
But you can grow and raise for a fee and a license . If not I'm sure some politicians will make it a law. And if broken punishable by jail time!
How does a commission invalidate a law? Smacks of a 'Rain Tax' type of mentality.
Dave T: Why is it that legislators never seem to pass any meaningful legislation? All I see on a daily basis are more laws and rules that are simply nonsense. This is certainly one of them, and I have a few words for those wonderful "public servants" who sit in their ivory tower - you know where you can stick your new laws and rules? I'll be keeping chickens in my yard until I'm ready to remove them.
3:16 what you see is more money making crap! Ordinances and most laws are simply to generate revenue. it's all about control! Another century or so and we will all controlled completely by the government.
License - Permission to do what is otherwise illegal.
