The percentage of voters who say the economy is their chief concern has been rising for months. Twenty months ago, in late January 2010, a Gonzales Research survey found that jobs and the economy ranked first with 54 percent of voters.

Jobs Are No. 1 Concern For Marylanders
Jobs and the economy are the No. 1 concern for 62 percent of Maryland voters, according to a new survey released yesterday.The report by Annapolis-based Gonzales Research & Marketing Strategies looks at how Marylanders feel about an array of topics - slot machines, gaming tables, same-sex marriage and in-state tuition for children of illegal immigrants.
