Hey 11:23 you don't listen or pay attention either. That is Sheriff Mike Lewis. He is not a Captain he is THE SHERIFF and he did an outstanding job handling that buttholes questions. HE can NOT say anything that will jeoperdize the case.
My question is why were they notified at 10am this morning? Why not last night? It doesn't matter what the problems the mother has. Unless she has a part in this crime.

This is truly the site where I get my news, thank you Joe. I only tuned in to WBOC to see the live coverage and I don't know how Mike Lewis maintained his composure with those questions, wow. But the unity I am sensing in the concern shown here is moving, compassion is a wonderful thing and it's good to know many still have it in such indifferent times.
Just checked the case search and that idiot has been charged 11 times with sex offenses and domestic violence. WTH is he still doing on the out to commit crimes again.

The Wicomico Composite Civil Air Patrol has an aircraft based at SBY. You can cover alot of area flying 500' above the ground during a search. Maryland Wing of the CAP has 8 aircraft based in the state.

Has anyone heard if they will start using civilian help. I was told last night that they were and that they would call but still nothing. Wouldn"t it be good if all reg. sex offenders had a GPS tracker surgically implanted?When a child goes missing in an area,they could run a search on all sex offenders.We would know everwhere they had been.It would prove they were in the area the child was in and help find the child.

I am such a sad Mother today. It has really hit home today and confirmed my lack of trust in the world. Some times I think I let my son down by saying no or making him stay by my side all of the time - but I always tell him it's not you I don't trust, but the SICK people in the world. I wish to all the people in the world that can hug their children to grab them tight and say your prayers. Remind them that they are the best thing that ever came into your life. Tell them to always be aware of who they are with. God gives us these children to have and hold forever!! Teach them and guide them.
I can't think of a more horrifying Christmas. There is no punishment too severe for an adult who harms an innocent child. I actually agree with the poster who suggested GPS chips. A sex offender's rights shouldn't be more important than the child that is the victim.
I am not local so I can't comment on the press except to say that I think that they often turn it into a circus. The reports should be short and filled with helpful info.
