Repeal Bill HB 60

SB 281 (Gun Grab) Repeal Bill HB 60
No State Senator Sponsor Yet (Time to Step Up Mathias)

The SB 281 (Firearms Safety Act of 2013) Repeal Bill is HB 60. Delegate Mike Smigiel is sponsoring HB 60 in the House of Delegates.

HB 60 currently has no sponsor in the State Senate!

Let me repeat that, not one of our State Senators is willing to sponsor the bill to repeal O'Malley's gun grabbing law, SB 281, and restore our Second Amendment Rights.

It is time to engage your representatives. There is no excuse for not sponsoring/co-sponsoring HB 60.

State Senator Jim Mathias' inaction demonstrates that he is not willing to defy his party and stand up for our fundamental right to bear arms.

Senator Mathias may claim to be pro Second Amendment. He voted against SB 281 last year. But the fact that he has not offered to sponsor HB 60 shows he is not truly committed to repealing SB 281.

Senator Mathias simply voted against a bill he knew would pass, making it easy to claim to his constituents he was pro-gun.

Demand that Senator Mathias lead the charge against SB 281 in the State Senate and sponsor HB 60!

Come on Jim! Many Eastern Shore residents are relying on you to take the initiative.

Joe - Mathias receives a ton of e-mails and just want to recommend that a more effective way of reaching him and for him to respond back is to call his office if anyone is serious about talking to him.

His number is: 410-841-3645

LOL!!! WHO thinks they give a rat's ace about what "we the people" want or think? They, too, saw the thousands of people who stood in Annapolis to protest this gun law (about 20 people showed up to say it was a great idea). They passed it anyway. Now, you think they will repeal it?!
How many instances of them thumbing their nose at "we the people" do you need? How many backroom deals and bribes need to be exposed before you wake up and realize they don't "represent" anyone but the wealthy and connected?
Call them all you want. Call them a dozen times a day. Write some persuasive letters. Send them a "ton of e-mails".
You want a response? Call and say you have $10,000 to donate to their campaign.
Think of what our founding fathers would be doing with these slimy, bribe-taking weasels if they were here today.....

Imclain has a point.

Unfortunately, it's all about the $$$ with today's GREEDY politicians and it seems as though they increasingly are asking for voter's help more & more these days, instead of asking "What can I do to help the voters?" as it should be.

Since this is an election year not only will they appreciate your hard-earned money but will also appreciate you helping THEM via helping volunteer to help with their 2014 campaign and donating your most important asset, your irreplaceable...TIME.

What's the problem Andy? Mathias too old to use email? No iPhone?

2:48 - phone calls or face-to-face contact are probably more effective.

Can someone post Jim's personal cell phone number?

McDermott shouldn't even be listed. He's as pro-gun as you can get. If you call his office do so to thank him.

Anon 2:48 Berges may be right. I've sent him several emails that went unanswered. Doubt he even reads them. Call him instead. Plus he's a good old boy who is as ancient minded as norm Conway so he probably has one of those flip phones from the 90s not an iphone.
