Byron York: Key House Republican on Pelosi impeachment pullback: 'I don't buy it.'

Rep. Kevin Brady is the ranking Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee. As chairman in 2017, he pushed through the tax cuts that remain President Trump's top legislative achievement. Now, he's dealing with the role that Ways and Means might play in a possible Trump impeachment. (It is the only House committee that is permitted by law to demand the president's tax returns from the Internal Revenue Service, and Democrats are currently taking steps to do just that.)

Brady and I discussed the committee's role in the Trump investigations in a conversation for a new podcast Tuesday morning, but we started off with the news that Speaker Nancy Pelosi has come out (mostly) against impeachment. Pelosi told the Washington Post that impeachment is simply too divisive for the country, unless there are grounds that are "so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan" that impeachment is justified.

Brady doesn't believe her. "Respectfully, I don't buy it," he said. The reason, he explained, is not that he doubts Pelosi's sentiments. It is that he doubts her ability to impose her will on House Democrats.

Pelosi Opposes ‘Divisive’ Efforts to Impeach Trump: ‘He’s Just Not Worth It’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi revealed for the first time Monday that she opposes the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

"There have been increasing calls, including from some of your members, for impeachment of the president," noted Washington Postreporter Joe Heim.

"I’m not for impeachment," the California Democrat responded. "This is news. I’m going to give you some news right now because I haven’t said this to any press person before."

"Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country," she continued. "And he’s just not worth it."

Republicans in Both Houses Move to Finally Abolish the Time Change

There are plenty of things where taking Washington bureaucrats out of the equation would decidedly make things better.

It may not be the biggest change, but we can at least start with our clocks.

Two Florida Republicans — most notably Sen. Marco Rubio — are pushing to make Daylight Saving Time permanent by reintroducing a bill that would stop the federally mandated time change every year.

“Congressman Vern Buchanan (R-FL) and Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) today introduced the Sunshine Protection Act, legislation that would make Daylight Saving Time (DST) permanent across the country,” the two lawmakers said in a press release.

Democrats introduce latest version of DREAM Act in effort to put millions on path to citizenship

Washington — House Democrats on Tuesday reintroduced the latest version of their nearly two-decades-long but elusive DREAM Act legislative effort to put millions of young undocumented immigrants and immigrants with temporary protections on a pathway to U.S. citizenship.

The Dream and Promise Act of 2019 would grant young undocumented immigrants who came to the United States as children, including those shielded from deportation by the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, an opportunity to acquire full U.S. permanent residency if they meet certain requirements. Additionally, the bill would allow hundreds of thousands of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) recipients — as well as Liberian immigrants covered by Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) — to gain permanent lawful status.

"I've been organizing for the DREAM Act for the last nine years," Greisa Martínez, a DACA recipient and the deputy executive director of the immigrant advocacy group United We Dream, told CBS News. "As an organizer, it would mean the realization of a dream. And as a person, it would mean that I get to be able to hug my dad again, who was deported to Mexico."

Reported barricaded subject with firearm in Princess Anne

On 3/12/2019 at approximately 1648hrs Troopers from the Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barrack received a 911 call from the complainant Maggie Jo Hobbs. Hobbs reported that her ex-boyfriend barricaded himself and their 6 month old child in his residence with a firearm. Hobbs advised she and her boyfriend Darryl Birkett had been arguing for most of the day, when at a point during the argument he took custody of the child, walked in the bedroom and advised he had access to shotgun. At that time Hobbs ran from the residence, called 911 in a frantic manner stating that Birkett was assaulting her, and threatened to kill himself and the child stating it was “going to be me or you”. At that time late shift units from the Princess Anne Barrack as well as Natural Resource Police, and Somerset County Sheriff Office Deputies expedited to the residence where Birkhead was alleged to be barricaded. After a brief period, positive verbal contact was made with the Birkett where he surrendered himself and was taken into custody without further incident. The 6 month old child was unharmed and given to the custody of Ms. Hobbs. Further investigation and interview revealed Hobbs’ initial facts provided on the recorded 911 line did not coincide with the statements she made in person to Troopers on scene. Investigation determined that no assault occurred and though the male party had access to a shotgun, he never retrieved it, or threatened to use it on her or the child in any manner. A totality of the facts ultimately resulted in the male party being emergency petitioned to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for statements he admitted to making. Sgt Pruitt from the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division responded to the Barrack and conducted interviews on the male and female party. Sgt. Pruitt determined that no crime had occurred between the two parties, and no charges would be filed, however the investigation is ongoing. It would be noted, Princess Anne Barrack command staff was notified and responded. Furthermore STATE Team personnel were contacted however prior to mobilizing they were advised they did not need to respond.

College coaches, others including Felicity Huffman, Lori Loughlin indicted in admissions bribery case

BOSTON — College coaches and others have been charged in a sweeping admissions bribery case unsealed in federal court.

The racketeering conspiracy charges unveiled Tuesday were brought against the coaches at schools including Wake Forest University, Georgetown and the University of Southern California.

Authorities say the coaches accepted bribes in exchange for admitting students as athletes, regardless of their ability.

Prosecutors say parents paid an admissions consultant $25 million from 2011 through February 2019 to bribe coaches and administrators to label their children as recruited athletes to boost their chances of getting into schools.

Radical Dem Rep. Rashida Tlaib Declares Victory Over US in Chicago CAIR Speech, ‘The Muslims Are Here!’ (VIDEO)

Radical Democrat Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (MI) declared victory over the US government in a speech to terror-tied CAIR last month — the video just began making the rounds on social media earlier this week.

Congresswoman Tlaib was introduced by Executive Director of CAIR’s Florida chapter, Hassan Shibly — Shibly invoked the Islamic war cry as he introduced her.

“Allahu Akbar! The first Palestinian-American Muslim Congresswoman, our dear sister Rashida Tlaib!” Hassan Shibly said.

As soon as Rashida Tlaib walked up to the lectern to deliver her radical speech, she invoked the Muslim war cry of Allah in Arabic: “Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim!” Tlaib said, which means, “In the name of Allah, the merciful, the compassionate.”

Hipster threatens lawsuit over the use of his photo in an article claiming all hipsters look the same. But it wasn't him in the picture.

A man threatened to sue a magazine over the use of his photo in a story about how hipsters "always end up looking the same." But it turned out that he wasn't the one in the photo after all. It was just someone who apparently looked like him.

Wait ... what happened?

On Feb. 28. the MIT Technology Review ran an article titled, "The hipster effect: Why anti-conformists always end up looking the same." The article used a Getty stock photo of a bearded man in a knit beanie and flannel shirt — someone who appeared to personify the generic definition of a hipster.

In a Twitter thread, MIT Technology Review's editor-in chief Gideon Lichfield related some of what happened next.

Levin: Will the MSM care about this top Democrat’s Russia ties?

“There is significant evidence now of Russian collusion,” LevinTV host Mark Levin said on the radio Friday night, “and interestingly enough, it involves the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Jerry Nadler” — a top Democrat.

Levin was referring to a story that broke earlier that week about House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., and his relationship with Ezra Friedlander — a political operative who does outreach to the Orthodox Jewish community for the congressman. One of Friedlander’s other clients is the wife of Russian propagandist Kirill Vyshinsky.

“So this lobbyist for a Putin propagandist is also a campaign consultant to Jerry Nadler,” Levin summarized.

“Jerry Nadler should recuse himself” from House efforts to investigate the president, Levin said.

Lifestyles of the Rich and Socialist: From Chavez to Castro, leaders who lived the high life

Socialist leaders come to power promising to equalize society.

But, in the words of George Orwell's "Animal Farm," their followers soon learn "some are more equal than others."

American democratic socialists have faced scrutiny for their own indulgences under the capitalist system -- for instance, Sen. Bernie Sanders has three homes and a proclivity for private jet travel.

But American socialists' luxuries pale in comparison to those of history's most infamous socialist and communist leaders around the world.

Igloo recalls coolers after 5-year-old gets trapped inside one

Igloo says it is voluntarily recalling its Marine Elite coolers, citing a concern that the stainless steel latch could inadvertently close and lock someone inside.

The recall comes after a Florida boy climbed into the cooler in an attempt to prank his parents. WSVNreports 5-year-old Nicholas Wanes climbed inside the Marine Elite cooler on March 2. The station reports Nicholas was in the cooler with the top lid cracked open before it eventually shut and locked itself.

"When I got locked, I was scared,” Nicholas said. "Like I got locked in there forever."

His parents, Rob and Maria, heard him screaming and thankfully were able to rescue him from inside the cooler.

Doctor warns parents not to let kids play these 6 dangerous sports

About 36 million children play organized sports each year, but it's the high-impact ones we need to look out for. Some parents think getting hurt is just part of the game. Others think something must be said about the risks.

In an interview with "Today" in 2017, Dr. Bennet Omalu, a forensic pathologist, said high-impact sports can be dangerous, and the "big six" to avoid are:
  • American football
  • Ice hockey
  • Mixed martial arts
  • Boxing
  • Wrestling
  • Rugby
However, sports such as lacrosse and soccer can be dangerous, too.

Omalu also stressed that children should not be allowed to play until they're 18, a theory he discusses in his book "Truth Doesn't Have a Side." He called the act of going out on the field and suffering "repeated blows" to the head, the "definition of child abuse."

SHERIFF REVOLT OVER GUN CONTROL SHOWS WHY AMERICA NEEDS MORE DECENTRALIZATION

Recently, a dozen sheriffs in Washington State announced that they would refuse to enforce the newly passed referendum 1639 which raised the legal age of purchasing a firearm of any sort to 21, expanded background check requirements, increased the waiting period and mandated weapon storage when not in active use.

Predictably, political proponents immediately threatened these sheriffs, who were hired to enforce county, not State, laws, with legal action. Of course, when I say passed, what I really mean is that 14 of 39 counties in Washington decided the referendum was a good idea.

Based on actual voting patterns, the victory of this particular bill can be almost entirely explained by the margin of victory in King County (506k), where Seattle is located, which accounted for 87% the margin of victory of the State-wide referendum (580k). This is a common phenomenon in many States that have a large single urban population. Another classic example is New York and the political dominance of the City in State-wide politics.

What does it mean to be a child in the foster care system? To put it mildly, it means you are up a creek without a paddle.

It means no normalcy or stability.

VIKTOR ORBÁN: “HUNGARY IS A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY AND NOT A PLACE FOR MULTICULTURALISM”

Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán has hit back at Western European critics, stating clearly that multiculturalism has no place in his country.

“What outrages our opponents the most is the fact that in our Constitution we have written that Hungary has Christian roots; that here there is no place for multiculturalism; that a child has the right to a mother and a father; and that our nation has the right to defend its borders – which are also the borders of the European Union,” the Hungarian Prime Minister observed.

After Almost 20 Years – Crooked Hillary Clinton Gets Her Law License Back

After almost 20 years without a license Hillary Clinton just got her law license back last week at her request after paying a fee.

Hillary Clinton’s law license was suspended in March 2002.
It was reinstated last week.

What does this mean?
What is she going to do with it?

The Arkansas Times reported on this on Sunday.

Hillary Clinton’s Arkansas law license has been reinstated after 17 years of suspension. No word as yet on the significance of that.

A recent routine notice of reinstatements and suspensions by the Arkansas Continuing Legal Education Board said Clinton was one of several lawyers reinstated by the board at a meeting March 4 after payment of a reinstatement fee. Another familiar name on the list was that of Rodney Slater, Transportation secretary during the Clinton administration. He was reinstated March 5.

There is a real crisis in the fertility rate which has fallen to such a low level that all the socialism going forward will simply collapse.

What used to be the Baby Boom is now being called the “Baby Bust,” which means that in all first-world countries there is a real crisis for they have insufficient children to maintain their population size.

This has been one excuse for allowing the refugees into Europe.

As the population dwindles, all the social programs are collapsing for they were NEVER designed properly from the outset. They are based on a Ponzi scheme where they rely on taxing a growing younger population to service the benefits of the older generation. This was the entire scheme behind Obamacare. Force the youth to buy insurance they do not need to reduce the cost for the elderly.

These findings were a huge surprise to those in government. They did not think it was even possible.

The joke is that we will have more grandparents than grandchildren. A study published in the Lancet followed trends in every country from 1950 to 2017. During 1950, women were having an average of 4.7 children in their lifetime. The fertility rate all but halved to 2.4 children per woman by last year. They compared countries in Africa, such as Niger, where the fertility rate was 7:1 compared to countries like Cyprus where couples had just one child meaning that would be a 50% decline in population.

Governor Larry Hogan Urges Federal Ratification of USMCA, End to Damaging Tariff Policies

ANNAPOLIS, MD - Governor Larry Hogan today urged the President and Congress to swiftly ratify the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), as well as a reversal of recent tariffs leveled against the two adjacent countries and top trading partners.

In a letter to President Donald Trump, House Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Governor Hogan writes, “Completion of a fair, flexible, and modernized trade agreement with our closest trading partners is essential, as free trade and strong relationships with neighboring allies are critical for peace and state economic prosperity.”

The governor’s letter details the positive impact USMCA ratification would have on Maryland’s economy, as trade with Canada and Mexico supports over 300,000 local jobs and represents over 20% of the state’s global exports.

Governor Hogan also advocated for the reversal of recent tariffs with Canada and Mexico that have increased the price of consumer goods, made it difficult to attract foreign investment, and disrupted states’ long-term economic strategies.

“I stand ready to work with the President and Congress to ensure that the USMCA is ratified this year and that these damaging tariffs are lifted. Maryland looks forward to maintaining and strengthening our partnerships with Canada, Mexico and other important trade partners so we can continue thriving in the 21st century economy,” concludes the governor.

Governor Hogan currently serves as the vice-chair of the National Governors Association, and will become the chair in July 2019. Read the governor's letter here.

Democrat extremism might mean a 2020 red wave

In a sudden reversal of fortune, Democrat extremism is putting President Trump and congressional Republicans on sound footing for the 2020 elections.

Just a few months ago, Democrats were flying high after taking over the House of Representatives by making big strides with suburban voters, including key battleground states such as Pennsylvania.

Part of the winning strategy for Democrats running in moderate districts was to distance themselves from then-House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to counter Republican messaging that a vote for a Democrat was essentially a vote for a left-wing speaker of the House.

Democrats understood that left-wing political extremism would not sell in swing districts, but now the discipline of the 2018 midterm election is being thrown out the window. The mask of moderation is being torn off, exposing Democrat extremism.

Trump's 2020 budget calls for $2.7T in spending cuts, promises to erase deficit in 15 years

President Trump will unveil his fiscal 2020 budget request to Congress on Monday which calls for $2.7 trillion in spending cuts and balances in 15 years, according to the White House budget office.

The budget from the White House is the first the president will send to a divided Congress, and the proposal is likely to face fierce opposition from the new Democrat-controlled House. But Trump’s spending plan highlights a number of his priorities, including strengthening border security to address the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border, and tackling the opioid crisis.

“In the last two, President Trump and this administration have prioritized reining in reckless Washington spending,” acting Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought said in a statement. “The budget that we have presented to Congress and the American people, ‘A Budget for a Better America,’ embodies fiscal responsibility, and takes aim at Washington’s waste, fraud, and abuse.”

Yet another hate crime hoax at yet another expensive college

Another hate crime hoax has convulsed an expensive private college and yielded a mass demonstration by "more than 100" black students (out of a student body of 1,450), and the predictable list of seven demands, including race-based hiring favoring blacks and brainwashing (AKA mandatory "cultural competency" training).

So far as I can tell, no national media have picked up the story of the arrest of Ajani Arthur, a black student at Goucher College (tuition: $43,440) who allegedly created graffiti that "depicted swastikas, the letters 'KKK' and appeared to include the last names of four black students, including Arthur." A previous incident last November, one floor below where the current graffiti were found and attributed to Arthur, said, "all 'n------' on campus would be killed."

The U.K. Daily Mail is doing the job that the American national media refuse to do, with the most extensive coverage of the fraud (though local media, including the Baltimore Sun, Washington Times, and the alleged perp's hometown paper, along with the College Fix, managed to take notice). A Google search for Goucher College yields no note of the incident at all:

Nervous Nancy Has Lost Control of Her Crazy Party

The only thing that should keep you from roaring in laughter as Nancy Pelosi freaks out trying to keep a lid on the freak show that is the Democratic caucus is the knowledge that the freshmen freakettes giving her fits would impose an ideology of tyranny and murder if given the chance. But you can still allow yourself a good giggle as you watch Nancy’s dreams of a Democrat majority die on the altar of anti-Semitism, taking away your health insurance, and banning cheeseburgers.

This was on display as the Democrats struggled to find a way to publicly pretend to condemn their superstar bigot’s hatred of Jews without annoying all the Democrats for whom hatred of Jews is a key component of their intersectional web of leftist prejudices. Nancy essentially tried to excuse it by explaining that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Berlin) is too stupid to know she’s anti-Semitic which, to be fair, is plausible.

She could only get her caucus to agree to condemning all prejudice, sort of, including the tsunami of prejudice against Pacific Islanders that we all see around us so much in our daily lives. Take that, people who hate Pacific Islanders.

She also offered solutions to those who “fear” socialism, which prompted excitement in liberal TV scientist Bill Nye, who tweeted that Ocasio-Cortez “gets it.”

Ocean City Not Interested In Bikeshare Operations

OCEAN CITY – Efforts to prohibit, or at least regulate, dockless bike and scooter rentals are moving forward in Ocean City as a resort committee this week agreed to seek legal advice and support from county officials.

On Monday, the Ocean City Police Commission agreed to contact the town’s city solicitor, as well as other resort and county officials, in an attempt to prohibit, or at least regulate, dockless bike and scooter operations in town.

As the name suggests, dockless bikes and scooters do not require a bike rack or docking station and can be rented and unlocked using a smartphone app.

The growing popularity of such systems was first discussed at a commission meeting last year, but officials at the time made no motion to act on the matter.

Drivers must get the compliant licenses by October 2020 in order to board a commercial aircraft or enter a federal facility. The new requirements have ballooned the number of drivers licenses renewals from 10,000 a month to 100,000 per month, according to MVA officials.

In an interview, MVA Administrator Christine Nizer said the agency has also clarified rules for its staff for judging the eligibility of passports, marriage certificates and other documents that have created problems for some people. She said the agency’s REAL ID website has also been updated with more information about the documents required.

Several Democratic 2020 presidential hopefuls -- including Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris and now Kirsten Gillibrand -- are defending their self-professed commitment to the ideals of the #MeToo movement against a series of accusations they recently mismanaged sexual-misconduct claims against their subordinates.

As the three prominent senators each have sought to draw a sharp contrast with President Trump, who has faced his own misconduct allegations, the claims highlighted vulnerabilities that could become major liabilities not only in a heated Democrat Party primary, but also in the general election.

Back in 2017, Gillibrand and others ramped up the pressure for then-Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., to resign amid sexual misconduct allegations. He ultimately stepped down.

Colorado’s second case against Masterpiece Cakeshop and Jack Phillips crumbles

Shortly after Jack Phillips’ victory at the Supreme Court, the state of Colorado embarked on a second campaign to crush the Colorado cake artist and his small family business, Masterpiece Cakeshop. By seeking yet again to punish Jack for living out his faith, Colorado left little doubt that it harbored hostility toward religious people like Jack.

Throughout its second legal battle, evidence emerged that removed all doubt of that continued hostility. And on March 5, Colorado quit its second, ill-advised crusade against Jack.

Colorado commissioners have every incentive to minimize their defeat or to describe it as a legal truce, but it isn’t. Colorado has relentlessly pursued Jack for over six-and-a-half years, stripping him of 40 percent of his business and the wedding work he loves. But, now, the state’s harassment has come to an end.

VERIFY: 'New' 2019 Student Loan Forgiveness Program won't wipe away loans with Navient, Sallie Mae

Our Verify team works to stop the spread of fake news on the internet and get you the truth.

A viewer asked us to check out a post that says loan borrowers ripped off by Navient and Sallie Mae, companies that provide federal student loans, are now approved to have student loans removed with a new 2019 forgiveness program.

But is this offer actually legit?

Our Verify researchers first reached out to a Navient spokesperson that told us they are not associated with this claim and the offer appears to be a hoax offer similar to others they've seen before.

The Hillary Stamp

The US Postal Service has issued a recall of a stamp they created with a picture of Hillary Clinton to honor her achievements while serving as Sec. of state under Obama.

The problem was discovered when numerous claims had been made that the stamp was not sticking to envelopes, and that mail which had been sent using the “Hillary” postage was not being delivered. Senator Clinton demanded a full investigation into the allegations. She was furious that this somehow reflected poorly upon her

A special Postal Service Investigation team was formed and after several months and many dollars spent, made the following findings:

*The stamp was manufactured properly.
*There was nothing wrong with the adhesive.
*People were just spitting on the wrong side

Geezer Crushes Dance Routine To Post Malone Song

1 Vibe Dance posted a video on Facebook of a man absolutely crushing a dance routine to Post Malone's song "Wow" and it's going viral.

The man in the video is Mike Alancourt from Jacksonville, Florida.

Here we go...

Why Build a Wall? This is why!

One Hospital in one city in the USA, Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas is a fairly famous institution and for a variety of reasons:

1 John F. Kennedy died there in 1963

2 Lee Harvey Oswald died there shortly after

3 Jack Ruby-who killed Lee Harvey Oswald, died there a few years later... by coincidence

*"On the flip side, Parkland is also home to the second busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year*

(That's almost 44 per day---every day)

*A recent patient survey indicated that 70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants. That's 11,200 anchor babies born every year just in Dallas.*

According to the article, the hospital spent $70.7 million delivering 15,938 babies in 2004 but managed to end up with almost $8 million dollars in surplus funding. Medicaid kicked in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.

The average patient in Park land's maternity ward is 25 years old, married and giving birth to her second child. She is also an illegal immigrant. By law, pregnant women cannot be denied medical care based on their immigration status or ability to pay.

OK, fine. That doesn't mean they should receive better care than every day, middle-class American citizens. But at Parkland Hospital, they do. Parkland Memorial Hospital has nine prenatal clinics. NINE.

The Dallas Morning News article followed a Hispanic woman who was a patient at one of the clinics and pregnant with her third child ---her previous two were also born at Parkland. Her first two deliveries were free and the Mexican native was grateful because it would have cost $200 to have them in Mexico. This time, the hospital wants her to pay $10 per visit and $100 for the delivery but she was unsure if she could come up with the money. Not that it matters, the hospital won't turn her away. (I wonder why they even bother asking at this point.)

"How long has this been going on? What are the long-term effects?

Well, another subject of the article was born at Parkland in 1986  shortly after her mother entered the US illegally - now she is having her own child there as well (That's right, she's technically a US citizen).

These women receive free prenatal care including medication, nutrition, birthing classes and child care classes. They also get freebies such as car seats, bottles, diapers and formula.

Most of these things are available to American citizens as well but only for low-income applicants and even then, the red tape involved is almost insurmountable.

Because these women are illegal immigrants, they do not have to provide any sort of legitimate identification - no proof of income. An American citizen would have to provide a social security number which    would reveal their annual income - an illegal immigrant need only claim to be poor and the hospital must take them at their word.

"My husband is a pilot for the United States Navy (yes, he fought in Iraq) and while the health care is good, we Navy wives don't get any of these perks! Car seats? Diapers? Not so much. So, my question is this: Does our public medical care system treat illegal immigrants better than American citizens? Yes, it does!

As I mentioned, the care I have received is perfectly adequate but it's bare bones, meat and potato medical care - not top of line.

Their (the illegals') medical care is free - simply because they are illegal immigrants? Once again, there is no way to verify their income.

Parkland Hospital offers indigent care to Dallas County residents who earn less than $40,000 per year. (They also have to prove that they did not refuse health coverage at their current job. Yeah, the 'free' care is not so easy for Americans.)

There are about 140 patients who received roughly $4 million dollars for un-reimbursed medical care. As it turns out, they did not qualify for free treatment because they resided outside of Dallas County so the hospital is going to sue them! Illegals get it all free! But US citizens who live outside of Dallas County get sued! How stupid is this?

As if that isn't annoying enough, the illegal immigrant patients are actually complaining about hospital staff not speaking Spanish. In this AP story, the author speaks with a woman who is upset that she had to translate comments from the hospital staff into Spanish for her husband. The doctor was trying to explain the situation to the family   and   the mother was forced to translate for her husband who only spoke Spanish. This was apparently a great injustice to her.

In an attempt to create a Spanish-speaking staff, Parkland Hospital is now providing incentives in the form of extra pay for applicants who speak Spanish. Additionally, medical students at the University of Texas Southwestern for which Parkland Hospital is the training facility will now have a Spanish language requirement added to their already jammed-packed curriculum. No other school in the country boasts such a ridiculous multi-semester (multicultural) requirement.

(Sorry for the length, but this needs wide circulation – particularly to our "employees" in Congress.)

*Remember that this is only ONE hospital is Dallas, Texas. There are many more hospitals across our country that also have to deal with this.*

*SO, TRUMP IS RIGHT WANTING TO FOCUS ON ILLEGAL IMMIGATION*

*REMEMBER THEY ARE NOT 'UNDOCUMENTED', THEY ARE ILLEGAL & MILKING AMERICA DRY!

PLEASE SEND THIS TO EVERY US CITIZEN AND LEGAL RESIDENT YOU KNOW.
