JUST IN: Mother Arrested After Baby Found On Side Of The Road

#‎Breaking‬- Sandra McClary,26, of ‪#‎Baltimore‬ charged w/ neglect in Pasadena infant abandonment case

EASTERN DISTRICT

Child Abandonment Pasadena
On July 5, 2015 at approximately 10:00 a.m., the Anne Arundel County Police Department Communications Section received a call from a woman claiming to be the mother of the abandoned child. The woman advised that the infant’s father was supposed to have the child. She further advised that the father did not know where the child was. The caller, later identified as Sandra McClary, advised she did not have the child either and did not know of the whereabouts. She provided a general description that matched that of the recovered infant. The mother was transported to Eastern District where she positively identified her child. Additional measures were taken to validate her claims that she was in fact the mother of the child. This involved partnering with the Department of Social Services.
During the investigation officers obtained a partial tag of a vehicle located in the area where the child was located. While questioning McClary, detectives were able to determine that shewas in the 900 block of Druid Hill Avenue and removed the child from the vehicle and left her on the side of the road. That vehicle’s registration matched that of the partial tag that officers established had left the area around the time this incident occurred.
After sharing the results of the investigation with the Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office, Sandra Clara McClary was charged with child neglect and reckless endangerment.
This is an ongoing investigation and there are additional people that investigators would like to speak with. If anyone was in the area or can provide additional information they cancontact Det. Ringler at 410-222-4700.
The child is in the care of Social Services.

After explaining how she got to meet “a lot of leftist racists” who agreed with Takei and even said Thomas wasn’t entitled to views that strayed from liberalism, she really threw down.

What's Going On With The Pocomoke Police Chief and the Worcester County Sheriff?

There's a lot of talk going on about why the Pocomoke Police Chief is allegedly on "stress leave".

I have heard several things over the past two days, none of which has been confirmed.

However, I do know that there was a point and time when the Chief sent his Officers out of their jurisdiction to patrol Snow Hill. There's been bad blood for years between the Sheriff's Department and the Pocomoke Police Department.

The Sheriff's Office in Worcester County must have a lot of time and officers to go into Pocomoke to enforce the law when they have their own police department.

We've learned that the Chief resigned today under pressure.

Why does the Sheriff's Office keep asking for more Deputies when he has enough Officers to go into Towns that have their own Police Department?

What Is Your opinion?

KKK chapter to hold rally on South Carolina Statehouse grounds

The Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan’s Pelham, North Carolina, chapter have reserved the Statehouse Grounds in South Carolina for a rally next month.

Brian Gaines, who runs the South Carolina Budget and Control Board, which oversees reservations, confirmed the scheduling in an email to POLITICO Monday. He added that the group submitted the request on June 23 and, because his office allows any group, regardless of ideology, to reserve the grounds on a first-come, first-serve basis, the KKK will be able to hold its rally.

The event is planned for July 18 from 3-5 p.m., just over one month after Dylann Roof allegedly entered a historic church in Charleston and shot to death nine African-Americans during a Bible study meeting. Reports indicate Roof was attempting to incite a race war and had read 34 various materials from white supremacist groups online before plotting his crime.

Final order! Christian bakers must pay $135,000

The Christian owners of a former bakery were officially ordered Thursday by the Oregon labor commissioner to pay $135,000 in fines to a lesbian couple after the bakers declined to bake a wedding cake for the couple due to their religious beliefs.

The ruling, issued by Oregon Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian, upheld an earlier finding by administrative judge Alan McCullough, who determined that Sweet Cakes owners Aaron and Melissa Klein had discriminated against the women based on their sexual orientation.

The Kleins said their Christian beliefs against same-sex marriage had prevented them from complying with the cake request. The Kleins were forced to close their storefront in Gresham, a suburb of Portland, Oregon, in 2013 shortly after the lesbian couple filed a civil rights complaint against them. At that time, same-sex marriage still wasn’t legal in Oregon.

The US Supreme Court has ruled that same-sex marriage is a legal right across the United States. The ruling brings to an end more than a decade of bitter legal battles.

These Two Clowns Can't Even Read From A Teleprompter

If you're watching WBOC tonight, I feel your pain. Talk about flubbing up almost every word from both of these guys! Welcome to the Eastern Shore. By the way Paul, it's called the news COMPLEX, not complec.

Also, are you noticing how many commercials this company is producing? Man, they come back  from one set of commercials, flub up 10 seconds more of whatever and then go right back to commercials. Now we know why some people stay and some people go.

GUARANTEED, SAY IT AGAIN, GUARANTEED!

I just watched one of their commercials where they pat themselves on the back for unheard of broadcast awards. In the end they say they want to thank everyone for making them Delmarva's News Leader. REALLY, PROVE IT. Funny how the Metropolitan and Coastal Styles doesn't have a "Best Of" in news or journalism. So WHO voted WBOC to be Delmarva's News Leader?

A Viewer Writes.........

Mr Joe,
I really hope you will print this it's about people's actions.
I work with the public every day, I am a hard working, honest, caring, love my family woman. But I am overweight. I am on my way to losing my goal of 130pads. I'm not ugly, or shocking looking. I take care or myself, hair clean and neat, makeup on (I get complements on both my hair + makeup) nails neat clean polished. I keep my body clean, smell good, nice clothes. So last nite as I left work, 2 guys were behind me talking about me. Saying how I must eat all that time and laughing. Then I turned to look at who they were, and they both lighting up a cig. Now I feel the same about smoking as they do being fat! I feel smoking is a nasty, gross, stinking ugly habit. They have a cig addiction and I have a food addiction, what's the diff in us? You can see my fat on outside of my body, his is on the inside of his body.except he has nasty cough too. So before you judge someone, you really need to take a good look at your own body.

Watch How Crowd Made Up of Veterans, Bikers Reacts to Woman’s Anti-Police Rant at NYC Flag Burning

A crowd largely made up of bikers and veterans who were counter protesting a planned flag burning in New York City drowned out a woman who accused police of racial profiling with a “USA, USA” chant.

The incident took place Wednesday evening as dozens opposed to the burning of the American flag flocked to Brooklyn’s Fort Greene park to counter-protest anti-police activists who had planned to set the stars and stripes ablaze.

When an unidentified woman criticized the NYPD, a veteran who identified himself as “Joe” told her to “take it out on the government, not the flag.” The man then led the crowd in a prolonged “USA, USA” chant, drowning out her criticism of police.

Labor Department earmarks $5M for youth employment in Baltimore

With the spotlight still on jobs in Baltimore, the U.S. Department of Labor is lending a hand to Baltimore’s youth by way of a $5 million grant.

The money, part of a total $22 million spread across seven U.S. cities, will fund a One Baltimore for Jobs initiative designed to serve 16- to 29-year-olds who are out of school and out of work. The grant comes on the heels of Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake’s push to expand the city’s youth summer jobs program.

“We cannot afford to ignore the challenges facing our young people today, and we must do all we can to ensure that opportunity is available to all,” Labor Secretary Thomas E. Perez said in a statement. “This grant will offer young people in Baltimore who are at-risk of falling off the economic ladder a chance to chart a new course, gain job skills and find stable, meaningful careers.”

REASONS TO GRIEVE

Today, in light of the Supreme Court decision on gay marriage, I grieve.
I grieve because the land of my youth has died.
I grieve because I know what the blasphemous ruling means.
I grieve because five unelected ones decided the fate of the Nation and legalized the abominable.
I grieve because my children have been handed the baton of a moral cesspool.
I grieve because I know how dark it is going to become.
I grieve because in my heart of hearts, I know that God, our Creator, who abides in the real Supreme Court is going to respond with His ruling. It will be a ruling that is going to plow the land under.
The God of Heaven looked down at the mockery of humans and allowed them to choose.
They chose. Now America is going to crumble.
They chose. Now America will burn.
They chose. Now a plague will dine on the people.
They chose, and those who celebrate will become the fodder of the unspeakable.
They chose, and now darkness will overtake with unrelenting madness.
They chose to throw away God's law, and with it, the lamp of the eye.
So ladies and gentlemen, today - June 26, 2015, the time has arrived to be afraid.
Be afraid for your family.
Be afraid for your loved ones.
Be afraid for the future.
Be afraid, because foolish men have stoked the fires of the wrath of God.
Be afraid, because the thread God's patience, has been severed by the blade of lustful man.
Be afraid, because the foundry of Heaven is forging the weapons of war and sharpening the battle ax of the destroyer.
Be afraid, oh people, for the appointment is coming.
Weep for the losses. Grieve for the fallen. Cry out to your Creator and plead that the coming plague of bloodshed will pass over you and your dwelling place.
Today, the Nation turned a corner.
Today, she left her path and walked into a graveyard.
The tombstones watched...
...the keepers of the crypts laughed...
...and the jaws of Hell opened wide to dine on the coming meal.
The time of talk is over. The time to pray that America will turn has passed. She has chosen not to be healed. Her fate has been determined.
So save yourselves and hide in the Rock of Christ. The fires are coming.
In lament,
Nathan Leal - Watchman’s Cry

TV Land pulls Dukes Of Hazzard reruns

When we last left the Duke boys, they were mid-jump in what looked like an inescapable situation. Friends, let’s see how that turns out for ol’ Bo and Luke…

In the latest case of “ I don’t think you understand the real problem,” TV Land has stopped airing its twice-daily reruns of The Dukes Of Hazzard in light of the recent controversy surrounding the Confederate flag. Yes, the flag is still flying down in South Carolina, but third-shift workers who want to watch a little “hicksploitation” in the afternoon are out of luck.

According to TV Line, “this move follows a decision by Warner Bros. to cease anyDukes merchandising deals involving the Confederate flag.” The treasonous battle flag had been emblazoned on the roof of the Duke boys’ orange 1969 Dodge Charger, affectionately called the General Lee. But now that Warner Bros. has ceased licensing any Dukes merchandise involving the flag, models and toys of the famous muscle car are going to be hard to come by, even at your local Winn-Dixie.

Idaho City Tells Pastors To Marry Gays Or Go To Jail

Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho, city officials have laid down the law to Christian pastors within their community, telling them bluntly via an ordinance that if they refuse to marry homosexuals, they will face jail time and fines.

The dictate comes on the heels of a legal battle with Donald and Evelyn Knapp, ordained ministers who own the Hitching Post wedding chapel in the city, but who oppose gay marriage, The Daily Caller reported.

A federal judge recently ruled that the state’s ban on gay marriage was unconstitutional, while the city of Coeur d‘Alene has an ordinance that prevents discrimination based on sexual preference.

The Supreme Court’s recent refusal to take on gay rights’ appeals from five states has opened the doors for same-sex marriages to go forth.

The Knapps were just asked by a gay couple to perform their wedding ceremony, The Daily Caller reported.

“On Friday, a same-sex couple asked to be married by the Knapps, and the Knapps politely declined,” The Daily Signal reported. “The Knapps now face a 180-day jail term and a $1,000 fine for each day they decline to celebrate the same-sex wedding.”

Civil Rights Icon’s Tough Message to Black Community on Confederate Flag: ‘If Black Lives Matter…’

Civil rights icon and former Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young is imploring the black community to focus on addressing actual racism and the problems negatively impacting blacks rather than the Confederate flag, which is a merely a “symbol that means a lot of things to a lot of people.”

“The problems we face don’t have anything to do with the flag,” Young said in an interview with WAGA-TV in Atlanta. “The fact is that 93 percent of the black people killed are killed by other black people. So if black lives matter, let us start believing that we matter.”

Young, who marched with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., said the “challenge” facing the country is “not to wipe out our past history but to learn to live together in the future.”

Mayor Calls For Review Of Baltimore's Confederate Statues

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — As a nationwide debate over the Confederate flag continues to rage, there’s a new push to remove Confederate statues here in Baltimore—but are they symbols of slavery or historic landmarks? The mayor will form a commission to decide just that.

Meghan McCorkell has more from both sides of the debate.

There are more than half a dozen Confederate-era statues in Baltimore. Now a panel will look into whether they will stay or go.

“Many of us have passed this monument over and over, countless times,” said one.

The giant statue depicts Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. Now activists say it, and other Confederate-era memorials, should come down.

“This is a city park. It does not need to be here. This basically is symbolism of racism, of slavery,” said community activist Marvin “Doc” Cheatham.

A Letter To The Editor 6-30-15

Dear Joe,

Once again the residents in the Camden Avenue neighborhood of Salisbury are being "shit" on by the lack of respect for homeowner ship and quality neighborhoods by Mayor Jim Ireton and the Salisbury city council....but this time they were literally "shit" on.

This morning my neighbor was taking her trash out when she saw the dirty scene as shown in the picture. Yes folks, that is human feces. To make matters worse, the squatter took the liberty to wipe his or her ass with their t shirt and and left it on the ground. This is what Salisbury has come to. And it's not only the fact that someone actually took a shit on my neighbor's property, it is also the fact that someone trespassed and came onto her private property.

My neighbor is a legal gun owner, and a damn good shot too. And I guess if my neighbor had seen this trespasser shitting on her property and pulled her gun out to protect herself and her property, she would be in jail and labeled the criminal. Thanks Mayor Ireton for fostering such respect and attention to the creation of good, safe, quality neighborhoods that make people want to own a home in Salisbury. Not!!! The homeowners are constantly "shit" on and we see this act as a symbol of how the homeowners in Salisbury are literally shit on by Mayor Jim Ireton's inability to make Salisbury a great place to live.

Thank you Joe,
Camden Neighborhood Homeowners

Brawl Breaks Out In Front Of South Carolina Statehouse Over Confederate Flag

COLUMBIA, S.C. (CBS Atlanta/AP) — One man has been arrested after a fight over the Confederate flag in front of the South Carolina Statehouse.

The brawl started about 7:15 p.m. Monday when about a dozen vehicles with Confederate flag supporters pulled up in front of the Statehouse and stopped in the middle of the street, Public Safety Department spokeswoman Sherri Iacobelli said in a statement.

About 10 of the flag supporters clashed with about 30 people who were on the Statehouse grounds protesting the flag, the statement said.

“The blood on my face, the blood in my teeth, the blood on my hands is no comparison to the Southern blood that runs through my veins,” Joe Linder told CBS News.

Where's the Beef From?

WASHINGTON (AP) — Under threat of trade retaliation from Canada and Mexico, the House has voted to to repeal a law requiring country-of-origin labels on packages of beef, pork and poultry.

The World Trade Organization rejected a U.S. appeal last month, ruling that the labels that say where animals were born, raised and slaughtered are discriminatory against the two U.S. border countries. Both have said they plan to ask the WTO for permission to impose billions of dollars in tariffs on American goods.

The House voted 300-131 late Wednesday to repeal labels that tell consumers what countries the meat is from — for example, "born in Canada, raised and slaughtered in the United States" or "born, raised and slaughtered in the United States." The Senate has yet to act.

Top Dem: 'Simply not enough' to remove Confederate flag

Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee said Sunday that removing the Confederate flag, which he called a symbol of bigotry, racial hatred, and inequality, "is simply not enough."

This week South Carolina's Governor Nikki Haley, R-S.C., called on the state legislature to remove the flag, but Cummings said that action alone is not enough and much more needs to be done in this country on race.

In the wake of the mass shooting in South Carolina, the flag's removal would represent "a major thing that has to happen, and it will happen, I agree," he said on CBS's "Face the Nation." "And I applaud the folks in South Carolina for doing that. I also applaud the governor of Alabama for doing what he's done, taking down the flag. But that is simply not enough."

Victoria Woodhull

She embodies all the aspects of America to be worthy of appearing on its money. Politics: She was the first female candidate for president, in 1872, long before women even had the right to vote, and later became the first woman to address a congressional committee. Government: Woodhull fought in the 19th century to get Uncle Sam out of decisions of marriage and bearing children, in a movement then known as free love. Capitalism: With her sister, she was the first woman to run a Wall Street brokerage, and, oh by the way, made a fortune. Entrepreneurship: Woodhull was one of the first female newspaper owners, and even went to jail for her bold publishing decisions. She deserves another first: woman on U.S. paper currency in a century. -Jeff Goldfarb
