CNN's Undisclosed Ties To Fusion GPS

CNN’s reporting on the Trump-Russia dossier has left out at least one crucial fact: the close ties between the network and the opposition research firm at the center of the dossier controversy.

CNN’s reporting on the dossier, led by justice correspondent Evan Perez, has been favorable to the firm, Fusion GPS, and hyped the dossier’s credibility. Left out of Perez’s reporting, which has relied largely on unnamed sources, is his personal closeness to Fusion GPS’ operatives. Fusion has repeatedly been described in Senate testimonies as a smear-for-hire operation that manufactures misleading or false media narratives for its clients.

Glenn Simpson, the Fusion co-founder most often associated with the dossier, is used to working on stories with Perez. As reporters at The Wall Street Journal, Perez and Simpson regularly co-authored stories on national security.

Another Fusion founder, Tom Catan, worked as a reporter for the Journal at the same time as Perez and Simpson. The third Fusion co-founder, Peter Fritsch, worked above Perez and Simpson as the senior national security editor.

Trump's Ex-Butler: He's a Picky Eater Who Hates Sloppy Dressers

How Team Hillary played the press for fools on Russia

Hillary Clinton’s campaign didn’t just pay for the Kremlin-aided smear job on Donald Trump before the election; she continued to use the dirt after the election to frame her humiliating loss as a Russian conspiracy to steal the election.

Bitter to the core, she and her campaign aides hatched a scheme, just 24 hours after conceding the race, to spoon-feed the dirty rumors to an eager liberal media and manufacture the narrative that Russia secretly colluded with her neophyte foe to sabotage her coronation.

But it was Hillary who was trying to kneecap Trump, even after he licked her, fair and square, in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan and other blue states.

Newt Gingrich: The Clintons started the so-called Russian collusion scandal and may be destroyed by it

The Left has been desperately working for months to find any shred of evidence that Donald Trump had even the slightest connection to Russia during the presidential campaign. Despite having the full support of their friends in the media, they have consistently failed to find anything substantive.

At first, I assumed the liberal elites were simply driven by their inability to accept that the American people elected Donald Trump as their 45th president. Now, I have another theory: The Trump-Russia story is meant to serve as a pure distraction aimed at masking real corruption by the Clinton political machine.

As The Hill reported on Sunday, while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, a Kremlin-linked bank paid her husband, former President Bill Clinton, hundreds of thousands of dollars. Also during her tenure as top diplomat, earlier reports indicate Canadian and Russian business executives directed many millions more to the Clinton Foundation. In fact, citing recently unsealed Federal Bureau of Investigation reports, The Hill described a thorough Russian campaign aimed at gaining access to the Clintons and capitalizing on their influence, while also spying on them to advance a pro-Russia agenda. In 2010, the FBI arrested 10 so-called “sleeper cell” Russian spies who had reportedly become too close to Hillary Clinton.

Meanwhile, while serving as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton was also overseeing a laundry list of U.S.-Russian initiatives and dealings.

Woman Knocked Out, Witnesses Take Video & Don’t Help

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — It’s a breathtaking, horrifying and jaw-dropping moment caught on surveillance video which has Pittsburgh Police investigating and deeply concerned.

“They don’t treat animals like that. They wouldn’t treat a dog that way,” says a Pittsburgh woman whose daughter is seen being beaten and lying unconscious on a sidewalk in the video.

‘Knockout’ Attacks In Brooklyn, Manhattan Have New Yorkers Worried

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — There were warnings Friday about a possible upsurge in knockout attacks in which people are sucker punched for no good reason.

Video of one such incident shows a woman being suddenly kicked and then punched by a man. She was knocked out cold on the ground, but rather than help her several people took out phones to take pictures.

Nobody called the police.

It happened in Pittsburgh more than a month ago, and something similar happened in Brooklyn on Thursday night.

“As he went to tie up his dogs to confront these kids, the group distracted him from the front and then one came up behind him and hit him in the head,” a witness said.

Clinton Campaign's Law Firm Brought In Both Fusion GPS and CrowdStrike — the Lone Sources of 'Russian Hookers' and 'Russian Hacking' Claims

NEW YORK – Perkins Coie, the law firm that represented the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC), reportedly helped draft CrowdStrike to aid with the DNC’s allegedly hacked servers.

CrowdStrike is the third-party company ultimately relied upon by the FBI to make its assessment about alleged Russian hacking into the DNC. The DNC reportedly did not allow the FBI to gain access to servers that were suspected of being hacked, instead coming to an arrangement with the federal agency in which CrowdStrike carried out forensics on the servers and shared details with the FBI.

The information about Perkins Coie’s reported role in bringing in CrowdStrike, firstdocumented by the Washington Post last June, is newly relevant as attention in the Russia probe shifts to the law firm that represented the Clinton campaign and the DNC.

The Washington Post on Tuesday reported that in April 2016, attorney Marc E. Elias and his law firm, Perkins Coie, retained Fusion GPS to conduct the questionable research on behalf of both the Clinton campaign and the DNC that ultimately resulted in the now infamous, largely discredited dossier claiming that President Donald Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia.

Through Perkins Coie, Clinton’s campaign and the DNC continued to fund Fusion GPS until October 2016, days before Election Day, the Post reported.

The István Markó Interview: Possibly the Best Thing You Will Ever Read on Global Warming. Pt 1: The Science.

Maybe the biggest of all the lies put out by the global warming scaremongers is that the science is on their side. No it isn’t. And if you’re in any doubt at all you should read this interview with the brilliant scientist István Markó. It tells you all you need to know about the science of global warming.

Dr. Markó, who sadly died earlier this year aged only 61, was a professor and researcher in organic chemistry at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium’s largest French-speaking university. More importantly for the purposes of this interview, he was one of the world’s most outspoken and well-informed climate skeptics, who contributed to severalarticles on the subject for Breitbart News.

Before he died, he gave an extensive interview to the French journalist Grégoire Canlorbe. Here are highlights of the English translation. As you’ll see, he doesn’t pull his punches.

Washington Free Beacon funded original Fusion GPS anti-Trump opposition effort

Lawyers for the conservative publication Washington Free Beacon informed the House Intelligence Committee Friday that the organization was the original funder for the anti-Trump opposition research project with Fusion GPS.

The Free Beacon funded the project from the fall of 2015 through the spring of 2016, whereupon it withdrew funding and the project was picked up by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Report: Washington Free Beacon Behind Initial Fusion GPS Trump Effort

The Washington Free Beacon, funded by GOP mega-donor Paul Singer was reportedly the original funder of Fusion GPS’ research project that attempted to dig up dirt on then-candidate Donald Trump — a project that would later be funded by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

The Washington Examiner reported Friday that lawyers for the Free Beacon — a plucky conservative outlet based in the nation’s capital — funded the project from fall 2015 to spring 2016, when it pulled its funding.

ACORN Founder Wade Rathke Comes Out Swinging for Doug Jones

The founder and chief organizer of the controversial former group known as ACORN, or the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, has come out in defense of Doug Jones, the Democratic candidate for December’s Senate special election in Alabama.

Legendary radical leftist organizer Wade Rathke was responding on his personal blog website, chieforganizer.org, to an article authored last week by this reporter titled, “Roy Moore Challenger Doug Jones Pushing ACORN Pet Project Known for Devastating Workers, Small Businesses.” Rathke continues to head ACORN’s still-active international affiliate.

The Breitbart News article factually documented that Jones is pushing a living wage scheme for the state and country that has a history of hurting small businesses, negatively impacting local economies and decreasing employment opportunities for low income workers.

The Breitbart News piece further reported that Jones is closely linked to a George Soros-financed legal activist organization behind the early crafting of local living wage legislation. The living wage was a project of ACORN, which played a central role in enacting the scheme in several cities.

Tarkanian Leads Mitch McConnell’s Incumbent Dean Heller in Nevada

Danny Tarkanian, the anti-establishment conservative challenging anti-Trump establishment Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV) in Nevada’s primary, has solidified his lead over Heller in a new poll from JMC Analytics released on Friday morning.

The poll of 500 likely Republican primary voters in Nevada conducted from Oct. 24 to Oct. 26 shows Tarkanian leading Heller by six percent, outside the survey’s margin of error. Tarkanian, at 44 percent, is towering over Heller, who is down at just 38 percent. For a sitting senator to be polling under 40 percent in his own primary—never mind under 50 percent—this far out from next summer’s primary is a horrendous sign for Heller, and another cause for worry for the GOP establishment in Washington which has been dealt a series of stinging defeats in recent weeks.

Fusion GPS and the Washington Free Beacon

Since its launch in February of 2012, the Washington Free Beacon has retained third party firms to conduct research on many individuals and institutions of interest to us and our readers. In that capacity, during the 2016 election cycle we retained Fusion GPS to provide research on multiple candidates in the Republican presidential primary, just as we retained other firms to assist in our research into Hillary Clinton. All of the work that Fusion GPS provided to the Free Beacon was based on public sources, and none of the work product that the Free Beacon received appears in the Steele dossier. The Free Beacon had no knowledge of or connection to the Steele dossier, did not pay for the dossier, and never had contact with, knowledge of, or provided payment for any work performed by Christopher Steele. Nor did we have any knowledge of the relationship between Fusion GPS and the Democratic National Committee, Perkins Coie, and the Clinton campaign.

Representatives of the Free Beacon approached the House Intelligence Committee today and offered to answer what questions we can in their ongoing probe of Fusion GPS and the Steele dossier. But to be clear: We stand by our reporting, and we do not apologize for our methods.

Breaking News: President Trump is expected to name as Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell, a Fed governor who has supported its current monetary policy

President Trump is expected to name Jerome H. Powell as the next chairman of the Federal Reserve, replacing Janet L. Yellen, the current chairwoman whose term expires early next year, according to two people familiar with the plans.
An announcement could come as soon as Thursday, ahead of the president’s 12-day trip to Asia.
Mr. Powell, a Fed governor since 2012, is a Republican with deep roots in the party’s establishment and in the financial industry. He has steadily supported the Fed’s current approach to monetary policy and financial regulation, creating an expectation that he would bring continuity to the role.

Students Push Back on Avoiding ‘Cultural Appropriation’ in Halloween Costumes

North American universities have come out in force to warn their students on avoiding "cultural appropriation" in their Halloween costume choices, and some students have run into trouble in their efforts to push back.

Clare McKinney—the president of the conservative Young American's for Freedom of Notre Dame and its sister school, Saint Mary's College—told the Washington Free Beacon she's been sucked into a standoff with the Student Activities Office, which has not approved YAF's request to set up a protest of the sanitization of Halloween.

McKinney said her group hoped to participate next week in a national counter-initiative by the Young America's Foundation's—the club's parent organization—titled "Funeral for Halloween," which instructs students to fill a mock coffin with Halloween decorations and to hand out fake obituaries announcing the "untimely death" of the holiday killed by "political correctness."

McKinney said, as of Friday, she was unsure if YAF would be permitted to set up on the quad.

Student affairs staff have repeatedly told her they need to "discuss the request" with YAF, as well as with other university departments, before they can approve it.

City of Denver Won't Allow Single Mom to Sell Her Home for What It's Worth

Many people view their homes as an investment. They buy it and then hope it'll appreciate in value so they can sell it later for a nice little profit. Even if that's not their hope, everyone wants to get the most out of their home that they can when it's time to sell. The great thing about this country is that you can do just that.

Unless, that is, you live in the wrong neighborhood in Denver:

Home sweet home is now bittersweet home for Cynthia Lopez.

The 35-year old single mom bought her Green Valley Ranch home in 2012 for $150,000.

"While this is a great home and I appreciate it, I had something better for my daughter and the city shut those dreams down," Lopez said.

Just a few months ago, Lopez had a contract in place to sell her 1,200-square-foot home for $265,000 so she and her daughter could move to a bigger house nearby.

"I wanted to give the best for my daughter and she still asks me, 'When are we moving to the bigger house?' It's hard to make a 2-year-old understand that we have to stay here."

Sessions Threatened to Quit Over Chinese Dissident

Attorney General Jeff Sessions went to the mat recently against pro-China officials within the Trump administration to prevent the forced return of a dissident businessman to China.

According to a person familiar with the issue, Mr. Sessions told administration officials during a meeting this spring that he would resign before agreeing to send back Chinese businessman Guo Wengui, who Beijing says is wanted on corruption charges but who has become a major political thorn in the side of the Chinese Communist Party leadership.

Mr. Sessions made the resignation threat in the face of pressure from officials at the White House and State Department, who themselves have been the targets of an intense influence operation by China seeking the return of Mr. Guo, a real estate mogul who in January began revealing secrets on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook about what he says is widespread corruption among Chinese leaders.

Justice Department spokesman Wyn Hornbuckle declined to comment when asked about the resignation threat. Department officials, however, said Mr. Sessions confronted a senior Chinese security official, Guo Shengkun, this month during a meeting at the Justice Department on Chinese hacking operations against the dissident.

American Social Media Silence Chinese Dissident

Twitter has joined Facebook and YouTube in restricting social media accounts of popular dissident Chinese businessman Guo Wengui, in the face of intense Chinese pressure.

Guo, a New York-based billionaire and critic of corruption among senior Chinese leaders, said several Twitter accounts he used to reach more than 700,000 followers had been suspended.

A Twitter spokeswoman declined to comment citing a policy of not commenting on individual accounts.

Earlier, YouTube restricted Guo's live streaming from his widely-watched channel used to post hour-long videos revealing tantalizing details of high-level corruption among Chinese leaders.

Guo spent 28 years as an entrepreneur in China and amassed a fortune from real estate and other ventures. At one time a member of China's economic elite who knew senior political and military leaders, he has begun exposing corruption he witnessed during those years.

For the Trump administration, Guo has become the center of a political tug of war between the U.S. and Chinese governments with Beijing pressuring the Trump administration to turn him over.

Rich Higgins, a former Pentagon irregular warfare specialist who recently left the White House National Security Council staff, said the Guo case reveals that social media companies are caving to Chinese pressure.

Federal Panel Destroys U.S. Inventors’ Property Rights

In 2002, Bassam Abraham and Roman Chistyakov, two Boston-based engineers, created a new technology for depositing metals at the micro scale. It had wide-ranging applications, from microchips to shaving razors. The two men, joining a longstanding American tradition stretching back to the signing of the Constitution, filed patents for their invention. Then their technology drew the attention of several massive Fortune 500 companies, whom Abraham and Chistyakov would end up taking to court for allegations of patent infringement.

In response, those same Fortune 500 companies brought Abraham and Chistyakov's patents in front of an entity called the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB)—an "administrative law court" where a panel reviews challenges against patents previously issued by the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO).

For just ten patents Abraham holds, the PTAB received some 125 petitions, he said, challenging a total of 371 claims (patents are divided into "claims"). He noted that those same patents had been granted after review by six different examiners at the PTO.

"I never thought in a million years that we would lose all 371. I said, okay, maybe the patent office made mistakes on 50 percent of them. Let’s lose 150. And let’s see whatever we're left with, whether or not there is infringement," Abraham said.

The PTAB panel returned its results: of 371 claims challenged, it invalidated all 371. Abraham's patents, along with the 25-person company he and Chistyakov had grown based on them, were toast.

JFK Jr. Told The World Who Murdered His Father – But Nobody Was Paying Attention

TMR Editor’s Note:
With the upcoming release of the JFK assassination documents, there is a palpable anticipation of explosive new info. It’s as though the entire U.S. government conspiracy behind the assassination of President Kennedy, and its 54-year coverup of silence, is about to unravel.

What is critical to understand, however, is that the very same perpetrators who executed that C.I.A. black operation on November 22, 1963 also conducted the 9/11 false flag terror attacks. C.I.A. & Company: The Real Plotters Behind JFK’s Assassination

These are the same perps who just carried out the Las Vegas mass shooting on October 1, 2017. Las Vegas Mass Shooting Staged And Then Hijacked By NWO Globalist Cabal

They are also the very same NWO globalist cabal that transformed Syria into a dystopian, post-apocalyptic wasteland…and Libya into a similar state of collapse and devastation.

In light of this grim reality, it is the sincere hope of the The Millennium Reportthat the upcoming anniversary of President Kennedy’s assassination will be an opportunity to unleash the truth like never before. In this way, every traitor to the American Republic can be removed from power and influence; every act of treason can be exposed and expeditiously prosecuted.

The continuity of the United States of America greatly depends upon JFK and 9/11 truth being revealed. And the Trump presidency may be the last chance to take back the nation from those who have stolen it.

May the patriotic spirit of John F. Kennedy inspire Americans everywhere to speak the inconvenient truths as he courageously did. May every U.S. citizen likewise leave the reservation of political correctness as JFK, Jr. did. John F. Kennedy, Jr.: The Victim of Yet Another CIA Assassination Plot & Coverup

The Advent of Google-approved 'Facts'

Google is partnering with the International Fact-Checking Network, an organization run by the George Soros-funded Poynter Institute.

Engadget reports that Google will be working with the Soros-funded Poynter Institute and the International Fact-Checking Network as the tech giant ramps up efforts to prevent the spread of misinformation and “fake news.” The IFCN runs an annual fact-checking conference, funds fellowships, and trains fact-checkers. The group is also responsible for a number of guidelines and code of principles accepted by a wide range of media companies worldwide.

Google’s partnership with the IFCN has three main aims: increasing the number of fact-checkers reviewing information, expanding the IFCN’s current code of principles in new regions, and offering free fact-checking tools to Google users to verify the information that they find on Google’s search engine.

Corrupted Understanding of Establishment Clause Is Leading to Court-Mandated Cross Removal

War memorials can be easy to miss. They’re often tucked away in small parks, virtually invisible to all but those who approach them on foot.

Not so the Peace Cross.

Standing more than 40 feet high, the concrete edifice was dedicated almost 100 years ago “to the heroes of Prince George’s County, Maryland who lost their lives in the Great War for the liberty of the world.”

Each of the four faces of the cross is inscribed with a word: “valor, endurance, courage, devotion.”

If this strikes you as a fitting and dignified expression of gratitude to those who gave what President Abraham Lincoln called “the last full measure of devotion,” consider yourself lucky.

After all, you could belong to the American Humanist Association. The atheist group considers this striking memorial to be not only offensive, but unconstitutional.

In fact, the group has been suing for years to have the Peace Cross removed. In their view, the cross—which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015—carries “an inherently religious message and creates the unmistakable appearance of honoring only Christian servicemen.”

Dallas cops were warned Lee Harvey Oswald would be killed

The murder of Lee Harvey Oswald could have been prevented after the FBI were warned of his impending death - but Dallas police failed to protect him, it has emerged.

Nearly 3,000 documents related to JFK's shooting have been declassified by The White House, among them remarks made by then-FBI boss J Edgar Hoover the day Oswald died.

According to Hoover, the FBI were contacted by a man who said a 'committee' was plotting to kill Oswald, who had been arrested for killing the president; the feds then told police in Dallas to protect the presidential assassin.

Instead, Oswald was walked out in front of a crowd, cameras - and local nightclub owner Jack Ruby, who marched out and shot him dead.

Grade-Rigging Scandal Escalates: Baltimore Schools CEO Issue Memo In Response To Investigations

In recent times, we have covered a grade-rigging scandal in Baltimore, Maryland that is worth paying attention to. Baltimore City Schools could be on the verge of gaining national attention, as the prime example of America’s broken education system.

Project Baltimore, an investigative reporting initiative, by Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc, the largest U.S. broadcaster, has led the charge via lead investigator Chris Papst in uncovering evidence, which suggests Baltimore City school officials are running a grade manipulation scheme in the public school system.

In a report from August, Chris Papst’s team uncovered documents suggesting one school in Baltimore has the highest graduation rate in the area with zero students proficient in math. Throughout 2017, Project Baltimore has made the case with evidence—- grade manipulation is widespread.
Evolution of Project Baltimore’s evidence:

Back in May, Chris Papst’s team found “6 Baltimore schools, no students proficient in state tests”

Trump Confirms "All JFK Files Are Released" After Latest Clash With Spy Agencies

Update: Following Friday's disappointing release of some, but not all, remaining files related to the death of President John F. Kennedy, President Trump just confirmed, via tweet, that the rest of the files are released, well ahead of schedule... Of course, given that this is the government - and the government does not work weekends - the files are unlikely to be released on to the official National Archives site until Monday.

This appears to be a victory for Trump in his never-ending battle with the intelligence agencies.

As we detailed earlier, The Deep States' 'war' with President Trump may sink from the headlines every so often, but there is little doubt that it continues to bubble away, battle after battle. This week's delayed, reduced... and now soon-to-be-complete release of the rest of the previously classified JKF files is yet another clash with the spy agencies... and this time President Trump may have won...

Multi-Agency Crime Blitz Results in Mass Arrests

New Castle – A multi-agency operation conducted on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at targeted locations in New Castle County has resulted in the arrest of fifty-three individuals on criminal charges.

The operation took place in identified locations along the New Castle Avenue corridor, the South Market Street area, as well as the US 13 & 40 corridor, in response to numerous citizen complaints regarding ongoing criminal activity as well as other quality of life issues which have been occurring in these areas.

During the eight hour enforcement blitz, police arrested 53 individuals on criminal charges, seized a 9mm handgun, confiscated 142.5 grams of marijuana, 3.495 grams of heroin, 3 grams of crack cocaine and other drug related paraphernalia as well as recovering an assortment of stolen property. In addition to the criminal charges police also made 91 traffic arrests, which included one for DUI.

This initiative, which was a collaborative effort between the Delaware State Police, New Castle County Police, Wilmington Police Department, Newport Police Department, Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole and the Justice of the Peace Courts, highlights how the cooperation of multiple law enforcement agencies can effectively combat crime, which in turn increases the quality of life for the communities we serve.

Yale ‘decolonizes’ English dept. after complaints studying white authors ‘actively harms’ students

English majors no longer required to take class focused on Chaucer, Shakespeare

A year and a half after a petition circulated calling for Yale to “decolonize the English department,” the first students are enrolled in a new course created by the department to increase the breadth of the curriculum and combat claims of departmental racism.

What’s more, new requirements are in place to ensure a more “diversified” slate of courses.

Previous requirements for the major included two courses in “Major English Poets,” including Chaucer, Shakespeare, Donne, Milton and Eliot, among others. But that two-course series petitioners had deemed actively harmful due to its focus on white male poets. The series is no longer a graduation requirement for Yale’s English majors.

DEA establishes six new heroin enforcement teams

WASHINGTON – The Drug Enforcement Administration today announced the establishment of six new enforcement teams focused on combatting the flow of heroin and illicit fentanyl.

“At a time when overdose deaths are at catastrophic levels, the DEA's top priority is addressing the opioid epidemic and pursuing the criminal organizations that distribute their poison to our neighborhoods,” said DEA Acting Administrator Robert W. Patterson. “These teams will enhance DEA’s ability to combat trafficking in heroin, fentanyl, and fentanyl analogues and the violence associated with drug trafficking.”

The enforcement teams will be based in communities facing significant challenges with heroin and fentanyl, including New Bedford, Mass.; Charleston, W.Va.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Cleveland, Ohio; Raleigh, N.C.; and Long Island, N.Y.

In determining the locations for these teams, DEA considered multiple factors, including rates of opioid mortality, level of heroin and fentanyl seizures, and where additional resources would make the greatest impact in addressing the ongoing threat. While the teams are based in specific cities, their investigations will not be geographically limited. DEA will continue to pursue investigations wherever the evidence leads.

Are Receipt Checks at Stores Worth the Hassle?

When you visit a large retail store, a smiling employee in a brightly-colored vest will often greet you at the door. However, sometimes these cheerful store personnel will change to gatekeepers when you leave, asking to see your receipt and marking it with a pen. But what if you walked past these folks—could they stop you? Read on to find out your legal rights.

The staff at any store—including the big box establishments—can ask to see your receipt as you exit. Although you likely acquiesce and hand it over, you might wonder whether the store could do anything if you refused to show it. The answer is no—at least, not without more information.

Before taking further action, the personnel must have reasonable suspicion to believe that you’ve shoplifted. Without that suspicion, the staff cannot stop you from leaving the store.

For instance, it would be inappropriate to do any of the following:

Clinton Spokesman Brian Fallon Falsely Compares Ed Gillespie to White Supremacists

After local media ripped Virginia Democrats for falsely comparing Ed Gillespie, the GOP nominee for governor, to white supremacists in the wake of Charlottesville earlier this year, Hillary Clinton’s ex-spokesman Brian Fallon has gone all in with the same comparison.

Earlier this week, the Democrats—who are pushing Ralph Northam—sent out a flier with President Donald Trump’s and Gillespie’s photo superimposed over torch-bearing white supremacists from Charlottesville earlier this year with the message: “On Tuesday, November 7th, Virginia Gets To Stand Up… To Hate.”

The Democrats were roundly criticized for it.

“That isn’t merely a reach. It’s practically libel,” the Richmond Times-Dispatch wrote in an editorial condemning the Democratic Party for the mailer.

“Gillespie has repeatedly and passionately condemned white supremacists and other creatures that have crawled out from under the alt-right rock,” the Times-Dispatch continued.

“Linking him to them requires the following absurd logic:

The remains were found in a heavily-wooded area near Nassau County’s Meadowbrook Parkway in Merrick, according to reports.

“There’s no information to suggest this was a random act,” FBI agent Michael Osborn said, according to Newsday. “We believe it was gang-related.”

The remains were found three miles away from where the FBI found the body of a possible MS-13 victim in a 432-acre park in Freeport on Wednesday, the Long Island Herald news weekly reported Saturday.

In March, Nassau police found the body of Cesar Gonzales-Espantzay, 19, in the park, according to reports. Police say he had been stabbed and shot by MS-13 gang members seeking to improve their status in the gang.

Teens disguised as bushes in New Jersey park may face charges

Three teens known as the "Rahway Bushmen" have been pranking people in Rahway River Park, NJ.com reports.

Two of the high school students dress up as bushes while a third acts as lookout, according to the report. They stand in the park and say "hi" to unsuspecting visitors.

"We were trying to be harmless," one of the teens told the website. "It's more or less an idea to try to make people smile."

The pranksters reportedly refused to identify themselves.

"It's great until the first person falls and sues the county," Union County Public Information Officer Sebastian D'Elia told NJ.com. "We never advise anyone to do anything of this nature."

James Comey's 'coordination' testimony sheds new context on Clinton campaign's dossier funding

When then-FBI Director James B. Comey explained to Congress last March the scope of his investigation into Donald Trump aides and Russia, his words would also fit the Hillary Clinton campaign today.

Mr. Comey told the House Intelligence Committed that his agents were investigating “whether there was any coordination between the campaign and Russia’s efforts.”

That definition — “coordination” — would seem to make the Democrats ripe for special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate, ex-Trump aides say.

What is known now that was not known in March: The Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid for an opposition research operation against candidate Trump that relied almost exclusively on paid Kremlin sources and Russian spies during the 2016 election.

The Russians plied ex-British spy Christopher Steele with what Trump people term lies and fiction that became part of a dossier. The dossier or its contents were spread around Washington by Mr. Steele and his employer, Fusion GPS, which got the money from the Clinton campaign and the DNC.

VIDEO: Pelosi face spasms mar speech; Utters gibberish, confuses 'trillions' and 'billions'

What is wrong with Nancy Pelosi?

During her weekly press conference on Thursday, the House Minority Leader was seen stumbling over words, uttering gibberish, staring blankly at reporters, and on at least two occasions, suffering from face spasms.

“What an event-filled morning has been,” Pelosi began, botching her opening line.

It went downhill from there.

“Really one that, uh, marks a transf— for—” she said, before staring at reporters barely 10 seconds into the appearance, and finally saying, “transformative moment…”

Moments later, she confused “trillions” and “billions.”

JFK Files: CIA Planned Deadly Attack In Miami To Blame Cuba

False flag plan was part of ‘Operation Mongoose’

As reporters have began to sift through the thousands of newly revealed government documents relating to the assassination of President Kennedy and subsequent investigation, we are starting to see some stunning revelations concerning not only JFK but the overall mindset of the CIA at the time in their all out war against Communism.

One of the more scary revelations to come out so far details a copy of a paper on “Pretexts” for war with Cuba that described a plan, under Operation Mongoose, to conduct false flag terror attacks in Miami, to be blamed on Cuba but actually carried out by the Central Intelligence Agency.

“Operation Mongoose” was the operational name for the CIA’s plan to topple the Castro government which we now know included purposefully killing our own citizens.

Free speech is protected — and public reason will prevail

On this year’s Sept. 17 Constitution Day, the U.S. Constitution marked its 230th anniversary at a time of intense debate about the meaning of the First Amendment. On campuses and in cities across America, online and in the workplace, there are calls to balance the First Amendment’s protections for hate speech against other values, such as dignity or avoiding emotional injury.

In the courts, however, there is no similar debate about the meaning of the First Amendment. On all sides of the spectrum, justices and judges agree that hate speech must be protected in America unless it is intended to and likely to cause imminent violence.

If America is to remain free, it is essential for us to protect even hateful speech from those who would censor or silence it. This freedom — with the other First Amendment freedoms of conscience and assembly— is part of the bedrock of American liberty.

As Constitution Day reminds us, we should give thanks for this inspiring bipartisan constitutional consensus, which distinguishes the United States from the rest of the world as the country that protects free speech more vigorously than any other. And we should remember the constitutional sources of this inspiring American free speech tradition, so that we can remember why giants of the American Constitutional tradition — from Madison and Jefferson to the great Supreme Court Justices Louis Brandeis and Oliver Wendell Holmes — believed that it is crucial in a democracy for courts to protect what Holmes called “freedom for the thought we hate” in order to ensure that citizens can develop their faculties of reason and govern themselves.

Holmes and Brandeis changed their minds about whether the First Amendment should protect hate speech. Before 1919, they had joined Supreme Court opinions upholding the convictions under the Federal Espionage Act of 1917 of Socialists such as Eugene V. Debs, who criticized World War I and called on his fellow citizens to resist the draft. The Court held that any speech that might have a “bad tendency” to lead to unlawful action in the distant future could be suppressed.

Over the summer of 1919, Holmes and Brandeis changed their mind and came to believe that only speech intended to and likely to clause imminent violence could be suppressed..

How Obama Used Hillary’s Dossier to Spy on Trump

How do you legally spy on your political opponents?

At some point in time that question was asked in the White House, at the DNC or in the hotel suites where Hillary and her staff were staying during her speaking tours. It wasn’t exactly asked that way.

But it was asked. And now we know more of the answer.

What Hillary and Obama did wasn’t Watergate. That was amateur hour. Its sophistication is a tribute to the left’s deep knowledge and control of the workings of Washington, D.C. The men and women who planned this and carried it out understood not only government, but had an intimate familiarity with the loopholes in the laws and the networks of contacts that could realize their highly illegal plans.

The eavesdropping on Trump officials carried the ‘fingerprints’ of an administration that bypassed Congress to fund left-wing groups by blackmailing banks into huge settlements paid out to political allies in a billion dollar slush fund and sent pallets of foreign currency to Iran on unmarked planes. A complete lack of ethical norms was combined with the careful use of legal loopholes to protect the actions of the perpetrators even while they were engaging in a criminal conspiracy.

The revolutionary cell is embedded into left-wing organizing. These cells combined into networks across government, the media and the non-profit sector to pursue a collective agenda.

Gillespie’s Neighbor Slams Washington Post Reporters for Stalking Her Family

Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie's neighbor, Jill Burnett, slammed the Washington Post on Friday after the paper's reporters were loitering in their Alexandria, Va. neighborhood and driving along with cars leaving Gillespie's cul-de-sac.

Washington Post reporters were staking out Gillespie's neighborhood in the "darkness of the early morning" on Wednesday to try and figure out where Gillespie was going to campaign that day, the Post reported, detailing multiple vehicles leaving the neighborhood.

Burnett wrote a lengthy Facebook post castigating the Post reporters for violating her family's privacy.

"Another disappointing article from the Washington Post on Ed Gillespie. I'm disgusted and outraged that our homes are being stalked by reporters under cover of darkness. I'm the neighbor mentioned in the article," Burnett wrote. "The Washington Post‘s surveillance team followed me as I drove my son and daughter to school. We had no idea they were following us. It was a violation of our privacy and crosses the line. I have lived across the street from one of the finest men you would ever meet—ED Gillespie."

Watergate — on Steroids

“This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.” —Barack Obama’s open mic assurance to former Russian President Dmitri Medvedev, March 26, 2012

Progressive ideology is about winning — by any means necessary. Thus, the same Russians Barack Obama’s administration accommodated for years — from Hillary Clinton’s “reset button” and Obama’s cancellation of missile defense systems for Poland and the Czech Republic, to allowing the Kremlin to become a Middle East powerbroker, and Obama mocking Mitt Romney’s correct 2012 assertion that Russia was our foremost geopolitical foe — quickly became the mortal enemies that orchestrated Trump’s election victory. In short, they told us, “collusion” between Trump administration figures and Russia was the primary reason Hillary lost. Yet as we are only beginning to learn, Obama administration collusion with Russia might constitute the greatest scandal in the history of the republic.

Mike Pence: U.S. Will Direct Humanitarian Programs in the Middle East; No More U.N. Funding

Vice President Mike Pence told Christian leaders from the Middle East gathered in the nation’s capital for the annual In Defense of Christians summit on Wednesday that President Donald Trump has directed the U.S. State Department to stop relying on the United Nations to provide humanitarian aid to persecuted religious minorities in the region.

“My friends, those days are over,” Pence said, adding that the Obama administration paid more than one billion dollars for humanitarian aid, with the majority of the funding funneled through the U.N.

“Yet the United Nations has too often failed to help the most vulnerable communities, especially religious minorities,” Pence said. “The result has been that countless people continue to suffer and struggle needlessly.”

Pence called it a “sad reality” that the main U.N. presence in terror-ridden places like Syria and Iraq is their flag posted on abandoned buildings in places where persecuted Christians are not even present.

“And while faith-based groups with proven track records and deep roots in these communities are more than willing to assist, the United Nations too often denies their funding requests,” Pence said.
