Matt Rosendale: Montana Sending Me to Senate 'Not to Bring Home the Bacon, but to Slaughter the Hog' of Big Government

Montana Republican U.S. Senate candidate Matt Rosendale lit into big government omnibus spending bills during an interview on Breitbart News Sunday on SiriusXM’s Patriot Channel 125 this weekend, including bashing a pet project for New York City that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is trying to insert into the bill despite President Donald Trump’s threat to veto the bill if it is included.

Host Matt Boyle asked Rosendale about Schumer’s efforts to put $900 million in funding for the “Gateway” project into the omnibus spending bill, a project that now is estimated to cost federal taxpayers nearly $30 billion, despite initial estimates of just over $10 billion. The project would build a series of bridges and tunnels from Newark, New Jersey, into Manhattan in New York City–but as Breitbart News exposed it has received no funding from the states of New York or New Jersey and is seeking to be funded entirely by the federal government. Trump has threatened to veto the omnibus if the project’s funding is in the bill–and now Schumer’s efforts are causing negative political consequences for his vulnerable members up for re-election this year, such as Montana Democrat Sen. Jon Tester.

Back Channel To Christopher Steele Goes On The Record About Senate Testimony

An American lawyer who served as a back channel between dossier author Christopher Steele and Democratic Sen. Mark Warner is opening up about explosive testimony he gave to a Senate committee late last year.

Adam Waldman said that during an appearance before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) on Nov. 3, he relayed information about possible links between billionaire activist George Soros and Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that commissioned the dossier.

Waldman said he received the information in a March 16 meeting he had with Daniel J. Jones, a consultant and former staffer to California Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

Waldman told The Daily Caller News Foundation that Jones asserted that he was working with Fusion GPS and that the research firm was being funded by a “group of Silicon Valley billionaires and George Soros.” Jones also described Fusion as a “shadow media organization helping the government.”

“He was there as Fusion GPS. He brought up Fusion GPS,” Waldman told TheDCNF of his interaction with Jones.

Met Opera fires James Levine over sex abuse allegations

James Levine, the former director emeritus of the Metropolitan Opera, was dethroned from his podium permanently Monday after the institution foundevidence of sexual abuse and harassment.

The legendary conductor, 74, had been suspended from the Met and placed under investigation in December after The Post revealed Levine had allegedly molested an Illinois man when the person was just 15 years old.

The Opera House said in a statement that the investigation found Levine “engaged in sexually abusive and harassing conduct towards vulnerable artists in the early stages of their careers.”

No specifics were released, but the company said 70 people had been interviewed and added that “it would be inappropriate and impossible for Mr. Levine to continue to work at the Met.”

House Intel releases verdict in Russia probe: No collusion

The House Intelligence Committee has released findings from its upcoming report on the Trump-Russia affair — and its main conclusion is that it has discovered no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election.

"We have found no evidence of collusion, coordination, or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians," the committee said in a one-page summary of its findings released Monday afternoon.

In addition, the committee took issue with the intelligence community assessment of Russian motivations in the 2016 election. The committee agrees with the assessment that the Russians did, in fact, try to interfere — the findings cite "Russian cyberattacks on U.S. political institutions in 2015-2016 and their use of social media to sow discord." But the committee disagrees with the intelligence community judgment that Russian President Vladimir Putin specifically tried to help President Trump win the election.

New Report Shows Planned Parenthood Raked in $1.5 Billion in Taxpayer Funds Over 3 Year

A recent government report has revealed that Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, received over $1.5 billion in taxpayer funds from 2013 to 2015.

In 2016, over 120 House and Senate members sent a letter to the Government Accountability Office requesting information on federal funding for certain organizations involved in health-related activities.

The report was made public last week, and the findings are astounding.

Over a three-year period, Planned Parenthood and its affiliates spent $288 million in federal funds. They also received $1.2 billion in funding from Medicaid, which combines federal and state funds.

Sex Reassignment Doesn’t Work. Here Is the Evidence

Sex “reassignment” doesn’t work. It’s impossible to “reassign” someone’s sex physically, and attempting to do so doesn’t produce good outcomes psychosocially.

As I demonstrate in my book, “When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment,” the medical evidence suggests that sex reassignment does not adequately address the psychosocial difficulties faced by people who identify as transgender. Even when the procedures are successful technically and cosmetically, and even in cultures that are relatively “trans-friendly,” transitioners still face poor outcomes.

Dr. Paul McHugh, the university distinguished service professor of psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, explains:

Transgendered men do not become women, nor do transge

IHOP in Maine apologizes after server makes black teens pay upfront for meal

An IHOP in Maine is apologizing after a server asked a group of black teenagers to prepay for their meal.

The manager of the Auburn restaurant, Melvin Escobar, told the Sun Journal he does not believe the incident was racially motivated. “We don’t discriminate (against) people for what they are or who they are,” he said. “This is the first time it happened, and that will be the last time.”

The restaurant has had a number of people, mainly teenagers, skip out on their bills in recent months and Escobar thinks the server was trying to prevent it from happening again.

Bear with me, and let’s together consider a scenario: Imagine one day you wake up, turn on the TV, and there is complete pandemonium. The news has just broken that the Trump administration has set up military tribunals; arrested hundreds of members of both political parties; arrestedthousands of others outside government; renditioned George Soros; captured Edward Snowden; and seized Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Barry Obama, and John McCain and charged them with treason. Additionally, imagine many of those arrested are charged with child trafficking for sex or organ harvesting, for drug trafficking, and for undermining the sovereignty of the United States. How would the populace react? How would the liberals react? How would the MSM characterize it? Imagine the totality of it.

I think there would be complete chaos. Society would be at the point of coming to a complete standstill, or a revolution, or a societal breakdown.

Most likely, the MSM would be in a full informational warfare stance. They would be characterizing these sweeping actions as dictatorial. They would say that President Trump had arrested the opposition, had lost his mind, was acting extra-Constitutionally, and had directed Sessions to fabricate evidence.

UMN hosting prof to lecture on ‘the violence of whiteness’

The University of Minnesota has invited a professor dedicated to “dismantling whiteness” to speak next week on how whiteness is an “existential threat” to the United States.

The Elephant in the Room: A ‘Grown Up’ Conversation about Whiteness” will be presented by Lisa Anderson-Levy, an Anthropology professor at Beloit College whose teaching philosophy is predicated on the belief that “teaching is a political act.”

During her lecture, Anderson-Levy is slated to speak on a number of issues, including “the violence of whiteness” and how colleges and universities in the United States may be complicit in perpetuating this violence.

“This presentation explores the ubiquity and violence of whiteness and the ways in which academic institutions are poised to either reproduce or interrupt these discourses,” writes Anderson-Levy, referring to herself in the third person.

“She argues that whiteness poses an existential threat to social, political, and economic life in the U.S. and proposes that decentering whiteness is one of the most urgent social dilemmas of our time and demands our immediate attention,” the abstract adds.

Anderson-Levy will also speak on how college administrators can “decenter whiteness” at their institutions, “including in our budgets, our curricula, our disciplinary genealogies, our interactions with students, and our relationships with each other as colleagues.”

Maryland State Trooper, Two Others Injured In St. Mary’s County Crash

(HOLLYWOOD, Md.) — A Maryland state trooper and two others were injured after the departmental vehicle she was driving crashed into an ambulance Tuesday afternoon in St. Mary’s County.

At approximately 1:45 p.m., the trooper, identified as TFC Allison Oyler, was on duty operating a marked patrol car on MD Rt. 235 at Rescue Lane in Hollywood, Md. TFC Oyler, who is assigned to the Leonardtown Barrack, was traveling southbound with emergency lighting equipment activated while working traffic enforcement in the area. An ambulance from the Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad pulled out from Rescue Lane onto MD Rt. 235 and into TFC Oyler’s path of travel. TFC Oyler’s vehicle, a 2013 Chevrolet Caprice, crashed into the ambulance.

TFC Oyler was flown by Maryland State Police medevac helicopter to Shock Trauma in Baltimore for treatment of her injuries. The driver of the ambulance, Gregory Casoni, 63, and his passenger, George Newton, 67, both of Hollywood, Md., were transported by ambulance to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

According to a preliminary investigation, the ambulance operator is listed at fault. Charges are pending in this case.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Leonardtown Barrack at 301-475-8955. The investigation is ongoing.

Court Upholds Texas' Anti-Sanctuary Law

A federal appeals court upheld a majority of Texas law that targets sanctuary cities and cracks down on illegal immigration Tuesday afternoon.

A three-judge panel in New Oreans’ 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Texas’ current immigration enforcement laws are constitutional. Senate Bill 4 enacted the law allowing local law enforcement officers to question the immigration status of people they detain or arrest, The Texas Tribunereported.

The only part of the bill that remains on hold is a provision punishing local government leaders and or elected officials who refuse to cooperate with federal immigration officials, such as the mayor of Oakland, Calif., who tipped off residents of an immigration raid.

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott sent out a tweet in support of the federal courts ruling, saying “Allegations of discrimination were rejected” and the “Law is in effect.”

Here’s Why Russia Is Delivering Loads Of Natural Gas To This Deep Blue State

Massachusetts’ anti-fossil-fuel policies are the primary reason why the state has relied on natural gas imports from a Russian oil company the Department of State sanctioned during the Obama-era.

Officials in Massachusetts and neighboring New Hampshire blocked financing in 2016 for the $3 billion Access Northeast Pipeline, which would have helped the state weather an energy crunch this winter. The state’s decision to rely principally on green energy hiked gas prices and forced it turn to Russian oil imports.

Prosecutors to Seek Death Penalty in Florida High School Mass Shooting

Attorneys said he would plead guilty if death penalty was not pursued

Prosecutors announced Tuesday they will seek the death penalty against the suspected gunman who killed 17 students and instructors at a South Florida high school last month, undermining a strategy from defense attorneys to avoid a trial that is certain to receive national attention.

Broward County State Atty. Michael Satz filed the formal notice to seek the death penalty against Nikolas Cruz, who has been charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder and is being held without bond. Cruz, 19, is scheduled for formal arraignment Wednesday on a 34-count indictment, which includes the murder and attempted murder charges.

Cruz’s attorneys have said in recent weeks he would plead guilty if the death penalty was not pursued.

Hillary Clinton blames 'pressure' from men for why white women voted for Trump

Hillary Clinton’s trip to India is evoking memories from her failed 2016 bid for president, as the Democrat makes headlines for blaming racism and misogyny for her loss while taking stumbles in front of the cameras.

During her appearance in India over the weekend, Clinton claimed she lost the 2016 presidential race in part because white women didn’t stand up to the men in their lives pressuring them to vote for Donald Trump.

“We do not do well with white men and we don’t do well with married, white women,” Clinton said at a conference in Mumbai, India. “And part of that is an identification with the Republican Party, and a sort of ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes you should.”

RNC's Kayleigh McEnany: 'Keep Talking, Nancy Pelosi, You Help Us Every Time You Talk'

Republican National Committee spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany told Breitbart’s Washington political editor Matt Boyle on Sirius XM’s Breitbart News Daily on Tuesday that every time U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) talks, she improves GOP chances of retaining control of the House of Representatives in 2018.

“Yes, keep talking Nancy Pelosi, you help us every time you talk as we get closer to the midterms,” McEnany told Boyle and co-host Amanda House, Breitbart’s Washington deputy political editor.

Last week, for instance, as Breitbart News reported, Pelosi attacked both the U.S. Constitution and the Trump administration when she “defended her home state Wednesday against what she called ‘the Trump Administration’s brazen aggression and intimidation tactics,’ after U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions filed a lawsuit to have California’s “sanctuary state” statutes declared unconstitutional.”

“It’s so important” that Republicans keep Nancy Pelosi from regaining the Speaker’s gavel, McEnany told Boyle.

ICE Director Fires Back at Nancy Pelosi: 'How Dare You' Call ICE Agents 'Cowardly'

Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan had some strong words Tuesday for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who accused the Trump administration and ICE agents of carrying out "cowardly attacks" on illegal immigrants.

Pelosi issued the statement after the Justice Department filed a lawsuit against California, claiming three recently passed state laws are deliberately interfering with federal immigration enforcement.

“The people of California will not be bowed by the Trump administration’s brazen aggression and intimidation tactics," the California Democrat said. "Californians will continue to proudly keep our doors open to the immigrants who make America more American. We will fight this sham lawsuit and will fight all cowardly attacks on our immigrant communities.”

Homan responded on "Varney & Co." defending his officers for putting "their lives on the line" each day for their country

"So how dare you call them cowardly," he said.

Services Face ‘War for Talent’ Amid Shrinking Field of Qualified Recruits

The U.S. military is competing across the services and with the private sector to employee service members amid a contracting field of qualified recruits, the Navy secretary said on Monday.

"Depending on what article you read, the number of potential applicants that would successfully qualify for our services range somewhere from 25 to 30 percent," Sec. Richard Spencer said in remarks at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington.

"Going forward, we're all going to have a real war for talent. The three of us up here fish from the same pool and we're all going to be looking for more people to do more things in a more intelligent manner."

Spencer spoke alongside Army Secretary Mark Esper and Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson on the challenges facing the military and key priorities in President Donald Trump's 2019 defense budget proposal. The three service secretaries agreed that the Pentagon's top priority must be continued investment in people.

Last month, the Heritage Foundation published a study finding that roughly 24 million of the 34 million Americans between 17 and 24 years old, or 71 percent, are unable to serve in the military due to obesity, criminal record, or lack of education. That leaves just a quarter of young Americans eligible to enlist in the armed services, posing an "alarming" threat to national security, the report found, citing Pentagon data.

New Jersey Prepares To Raise Taxes On "Almost Everything" As It Nears Financial Disaster

Last week we noted that in what was a radical U-turn to what other public pension funds have been doing in recent years - most notably Calpers - the struggling New Jersey public pension system decided that instead of lowering its expected rate of return, it would raise it, from 7% to 7.5%.

The simple reason behind this odd increase in projected returns was an accounting sleight of hand which would allow the state of New Jersey to save some $238 million in pension contributions as a result of the higher discount rate applied to the fund's liabilities. And with a pension funding level of only 37% for the 2015 fiscal year, the worst of any state in the US, New Jersey would gladly take even the most glaring accounting gimmickry that would delay its inevitable death.

Unfortunately, being the not so proud owner of the most distressed and underfunded public pension fund in the US is just the start of New Jersey's monetary woes, and as Bloomberg reports, New Jersey's fiscal situation is so dire that new Governor Phil Murphy has proposed taxing online-room booking, ride-sharing, marijuana, e-cigarettes and Internet transactions along with raising taxes on millionaires and retail sales to fund a record $37.4 billion budget that would boost spending on schools, pensions and mass transit.

The proposal which is 4.2% higher than the current fiscal year’s, relies on a tax for the wealthiest that is so unpopular it not only has yet to be approved, but also lacks support from key Democrats in the legislature, let alone Republicans. It also reverses pledges from Murphy’s predecessor, Republican Chris Christie, to lower taxes in a state where living costs are already among the nation’s highest.

Bankrupt Baltimore 'Somehow' Finds Money To Fund Lawyers For Illegal Immigrants

Baltimore ranks high on the “shithole” list for its widespread death and destruction. The city’s population hit a 100-year low in 2017, as residents are fleeing neighborhoods to escape the violent crime. The federal government stepped in last year at the request of the mayor to get the city under control. Intelligent agencies are circling above with light aircraft using optics and other spy-tech to monitor residents, meanwhile, a network of cameras on the city streets use facial recognition software to track citizen.

Furthermore, Baltimore's homicide per capita is on par with Venezuela, a country that is suffering from an economic collapse in South America.

University of California Guide: Saying "I'm Not Racist" is Racist

“Microaggression” list scorns would-be bigots

An official University of California list of racist “microaggressions” asserts that saying “I’m not racist” is racist.

The university guide defines microaggressions as, “everyday verbal, nonverbal, and environmental slights, snubs, or insults, whether intentional or unintentional, that communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative messages to target persons based solely upon their marginalized group membership.”

Examples listed on the university’s official website include telling someone, “you speak English very well,” telling an Asian person that they are good at math and insisting that “America is a melting pot”.

Using the phrase, “I’m not racist, I have several black friends” is also listed as an example of “racism”.

Radio host Dennis Prager highlighted some other examples, which include saying, “There is only one race, the human race,” and also remarking, “I believe the most qualified person should get the job.” Thinking that, “America is the land of opportunity” is also racist, according to the guide.

The Truth About Broken Britain

Editorial: Hillary Reminds America Why She Lost In case we'd forgotten.

We’re aware that some elected officials—perhaps more than a few—regard the average voter with contempt. Such politicians may succeed for a time, but contempt is hard to hide, and they soon find themselves giving talks at ritzy confabs about their regrettably brief time in public life.

That’s the case with Hillary Clinton. On the strength of the notoriety she’d received as First Lady in the 1990s, she won a seat in the U.S. Senate in 2000 and held it for nine years. But that is about as much of Hillary Clinton as voters could take. She was appointed secretary of State by Barack Obama for no other reason than that she’d come in second in the 2008 primary election; she then went on to lose a general election and now enjoys a successful career as a former presidential candidate and writer of unreadable memoirs.

Mrs. Clinton was never a talented politician. Like many another former officeholder, she thought most voters were idiots and often didn’t have sense enough to pretend otherwise. She proudly heaped scorn on voters who weren’t inclined to back her—her infamous “basket of deplorables” remark is still shocking to read—and thereby managed to lose an election to a man who did everything in his power to make himself unelectable.

Cherokee genealogist casts doubt on Elizabeth Warren's story of parents' elopement

Sen. Elizabeth Warren doubled down on her disputed story about a Native American heritage in a recent TV appearance, but an expert says her story just doesn't add up.

Warren appeared on "Fox News Sunday" where she was once again grilled about her long-standing claim tobe Native American, and told a story about how her racist paternal grandparents objected to her parents' wedding because of her mother's Cherokee blood. The couple, she said, was forced into a Depression-era elopment.

“You know, my mom and dad were born and raised out in Oklahoma, and my daddy was in his teens when he fell in love with my mother,” said the Massachusetts Democrat. “She was a beautiful girl who played the piano. And he was head over heels in love with her and wanted to marry her. And his family was bitterly opposed to that because she was part Native American.”

Dems are angry over Hillary Clinton’s latest comments

Democrats are angry that Hillary Clinton continues to discuss what went wrong during the 2016 presidential election against President Trump.

Even some of Clinton’s own former aides and surrogates say the former Democratic presidential nominee should back away from the discussion about her failed campaign because it’s harmful to the party.

During a conference in India this weekend, Clinton called states that supported her in the election more economically advanced than the states that backed Trump.

The remarks reminded many of the former secretary of State’s comments in 2016 that some of Trump’s supporters fit in a “basket of deplorables,” a line the Republican then used against her repeatedly during the final stretch of the campaign.

She also insinuated that women who voted for Trump were motivated by “ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes you should.”

History of the Confederate flags created before the Southern Cross

Capturing a Confederate battle flag during the Civil War was considered an act of valor with Union soldiers being granted furloughs and awarded Medals of Honor. To qualify, Union soldiers sent the captured flags to the War Department and later on to officials in Washington, D.C. where they were kept in storage until Congress passed an act in 1905 - decades after the war ended - to have them returned to the states of the units that carried them.

So many different variations of Confederate battle flags were created before the Southern Cross became widely accepted as the symbol in 1862, that 279 of them went unidentified and were sent to what was then the Confederate Museum in Richmond, Virginia. Today, it's known as The American Civil War Museum and has more than 820 variations of Confederate and Union national, state, presentation, company and regimental battle flags, making it the largest collection in the United States.

'There's a huge variety of flags that were used in the South during the war and most people don't know that,' Robert Hancock, the Senior Curator & Director of Collections at The American Civil War Museum, told 'There was everything from Confederate state flags, the battle flags we're familiar with, and hundreds of flags that most people are not familiar with and have never seen those patterns.'

Report: Trump to Unveil Massive 'Package of Tariffs' Against China

President Trump is expected to unveil a massive “package of tariffs” against China in the coming weeks, multiple sources close to the White House told Politico.

Trump is seeking “steep” tariffs against China for their alleged stealing of intellectual property and dumping of cheap, imported goods in the U.S., sources claim. In a meeting at the White House, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer showed Trump a “package of tariffs,” but the populist president demanded the tariffs be even steeper.

Politico reports:

During the meeting, which hasn’t been previously been reported, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer presented Trump with a package of tariffs that would target the equivalent of $30 billion a year in Chinese imports. In response, Trump urged Lighthizer to aim for an even bigger number – and he instructed administration officials to be ready for a formal announcement in the coming weeks, according to two people involved in the administration’s trade deliberations. [Emphasis added]

That sent senior officials at the White House, Treasury Department, State Department, Justice Department, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and other keyagencies scrambling this week to finalize the proposal. While the details were still in flux, aides said the administration is considering tariffs on more than 100 Chinese products ranging from electronics and telecommunications equipment to furniture and toys. [Emphasis added]

Sources with Reuters say Trump is eyeing tariffs on China that would hit at least $60 billion worth of their annual cheap, imported goods in the U.S.

Parents of fraternity pledge who died in hazing demand change

A Florida State University student's parent are fighting for a new federal anti-hazing law after their son died in an alleged hazing ritual while a room full of people 'just didn't care.'

Tom and Sandra Coffey sat down with CBS News' Tony Dokoupil to discuss their son's passing last year while he was allegedly being hazed for Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.

'Andrew died in a room full of people that just didn't care. And he died alone,' Tom Coffey said about his son, Andrew Coffey.

Andrew, a junior, was found unresponsive at the frat house in November. He had died from alcohol poisoning after drinking an entire bottle of 101-proof bourbon, according to a lawsuit filed.

Dems Stop House Effort at 'Right to Try' Drug Bill

The House rejected legislation Tuesday easing how experimental drugs are provided to people with terminal illnesses, as Democrats calling the bill risky and misleading overcame support from President Donald Trump and emotional arguments by Republican lawmakers and ailing constituents.

The vote for the measure was 259-140, but that fell short of the two-thirds majority the GOP needed to prevail under special procedures. Since the Senate approved similar legislation last August, Republicans could revisit the legislation under rules that would require only a simple majority for passage, perhaps after reworking the measure.

"The House will not let this be the end," said Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.

Ocean City Police Offering Free Bicycle Lights to Citizens

OCEAN CITY, MD – The Ocean City Police Department recently received forty bicycle lights to be distributed to Ocean City residents in an effort to improve bicycle safety in the resort. Any Ocean City resident that rides a bike at night and does not have headlights and tail lights is encouraged to bring their bike to the Ocean City Public Safety Building, 6501 Coastal Highway, to have a set of lights installed by police personnel at no charge. Funding for the lights was provided to the Ocean City Green Team by the Ocean City Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Association.

In 2017, over half of all bicycle collisions occurred during the nighttime hours. Many of these collisions could have been avoided if the bicycle was properly equipped with the required lights. “It can be nearly impossible for drivers to see cyclists that are not equipped with proper lights,” commented Patrol Commander, Captain Michael Colbert. “Not only is it illegal to ride at night without lights, but violators put their safety in danger when taking this risk.”

Ocean City residents can have a free set of bicycle lights by visiting the Ocean City Public Safety Building with their bicycle at any time. Officers will also be stopping violators riding their bicycles at night without lights installed on their bikes and provide them with lights.

The OCPD expects to receive additional lights in the coming months and will continue this initiative through the summer season.

Police: Teen stabbing suspect converted to Islam, held on murder charge

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (WPEC) - Investigators said the 17-year-old accused of killing a 13-year-old boy, and stabbing a mother and her teen son at a home in Palm Beach Gardens, had been the focus of an FBI bulletin due to reports about his violent tendencies. Police say he converted to Islam, watched violent videos online and admitted to the stabbings due to his religious beliefs.

Police identified the suspect as 17-year-old Corey Johnson of Jupiter.

Investigators said Johnson confessed to the stabbings because of his Muslim faith. Johnson once attended Dwyer High School before being withdrawn, police said.

Breaking News: The U.K. is expelling 23 Russian diplomats over the poisoning of a former spy on British soil, in a sharp escalation with Moscow

Prime Minister Theresa May of Britain expelled 23 Russian diplomats on Wednesday, among a raft of measures, blaming Moscow for the poisoning of a former Russian spy and sharply escalating the dispute between the two countries.

Her statement to Parliament came after Moscow rejected a British deadline for Russia to explain itself over this month’s nerve-agent attack on the former spy, Sergei V. Skripal, and his daughter.

City with Highest Per Capita Murder Rate Starts Defense Fund for Illegal Aliens

Less than a year after Baltimore prosecutors ordered staff not to charge illegal immigrants with minor, non-violent crimes because it could get the offenders deported, Maryland’s largest city will hire immigration attorneys to help those facing removal. It’s important to note that Baltimore has the nation’s highest per capita homicide rate and has been coined the deadliest big city in the United States by a mainstream newspaper. Nevertheless, a city panel approved spending $200,000 this month to pay for lawyers to represent illegal aliens with deportation orders.

Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh says in a local news report that the goal is for everyone to get due process. “We’re not making a decision as to their status, we’re making the decision to be supportive of individuals who live in our city,” according to the mayor.

Unlike the criminal justice system, in immigration court the government doesn’t offer free lawyers to those who can’t afford them. This means that illegal aliens who don’t have the money to pay for one must represent themselves in legal proceedings or rely on volunteer attorneys or paralegals provided by immigrant rights groups.

In response to the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement policies, American sanctuary cities took matters into their own hands by creating local funds to help illegal aliens facing deportation.

Baltimore took it a step further by also creating a policy to go easy on alien criminals in state cases to avert collateral immigration consequences. An internal memo issued by Baltimore’s Chief Deputy State’s Attorney in mid-2017 instructs prosecutors to think twice before charging illegal immigrants with minor, non-violent crimes.

Besides Baltimore, two Maryland counties—Montgomery and Prince George’s—offer illegal immigrants sanctuary.

Top Democrat Shared Stage With Farrakhan

The third-highest ranking House Democrat shared a stage with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, a notorious racist and anti-Semite, and has refused to condemn the hate group leader.

South Carolina Rep. James Clyburn attended a 2011 event with Farrakhan and shared the stage with him, even after Jewish groups voiced their opposition to Clyburn attending the event. Clyburn told the Final Call, a Nation of Islam publication, that he was “not bothered in the least bit” by criticisms of his attendance at the event.

As the assistant Democratic leader, Clyburn is the third-highest ranked Democrat in the House. He declined to condemn Farrakhan in a statement released to The Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday.

“I have fought all my life to advance the cause of social justice and equality, and I have always opposed bigotry in all its forms,” Clyburn said in the statement. His office declined repeated inquiries regarding whether the congressman is willing to condemn Farrakhan, and whether he stood by his decision in 2011 to shrug off criticisms of Farrakhan.

Sad, Isn't It?

He had it man's short, life changing story.

Into every life a little rain must fall. I talked to a homeless man this morning & asked him how he ended up this way. He said, "Up until last month, I still had it all. I had plenty to eat, my clothes were washed & pressed, I had a roof over my head, I had TV & Internet, & I went to the gym, the pool, & the library. I was working on my MBA on-line. I had no bills & no debt. I even had full medical coverage.”

"I felt sorry for him, so I asked, "What happened" ? Drugs?

Alcohol? Divorce?

"Oh no nothing like that," he said..... "I was paroled."!!!!!!

Diet of vegetables, salad and only a little meat is best for health

Healthy eaters are often willing to spend a fortune on expensive ingredients and trendy superfoods in their pursuit of a nutritious diet.

But it seems they may have all been wasting their money, as researchers have found the eating habits of Victorian peasants were perhaps the best.

Simple wholesome foods such as fresh locally grown vegetables, potatoes, fish and a little meat is the best recipe for staying healthy, a study has concluded.

Researchers compared the eating habits of people living across mid-19th century Britain by region and socio-economic class.

Doctor dies after being beaten on Mexican vacation

A doctor died on Wednesday, after being beaten and left for dead in a ditch while on vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Dr. William O'Byrne went on vacation last week with friends, and at one point got detached from the group, his friend Jason Hall told CBS 42.

The friends later found him in a hospital, where he was hooked up to a ventilator. They say he had been beaten and left for dead in a ditch.

The 54-year-old, who appeared to be a bachelor, was then flown back to the U.S. on life support so he could get better treatment at the hospital where he worked, UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

But he succumbed to his wounds and died there on Wednesday, the local coroner's office confirmed.

A country wife came home just in time to find her husband in bed with another woman. With super-human strength, borne of fury, years of muscle-building from cutting firewood, lifting sacks of feed and bales of hay, she dragged him down the stairs, out the back door and into the barn.

She put his manhood in a vice and then secured it tightly and removed the handle. Next she picked up an old carpenters' saw.

The banged-up-cheater was terrified and hollered, "Stop! Stop! You're not gonna cut it off with that rusty saw, are you?"

The wife, with a gleam of revenge in her eye, put the saw in her husband's hand and said ........

"Nope ....You are! I'm gonna burn down the barn!"

A Bull Market For The History Books - Bear Market To Follow Shortly

If you’re getting the sense that stocks always go up, that’s because they’ve been doing so for a really, really long time. From CNBC today:

On the bull market’s ninth birthday, here’s how it stacks up against history

• The Dow has quadrupled during the bull market, which turned 9 on Friday.

• This is the biggest and longest bull market for the Dow post-WWII, according to Leuthold Group.

The bullish run in the Dow Jones industrial average — which celebrates its ninth birthday Friday — is the longest ever and the greatest percentage gain since World War II, according to Leuthold Group.

The corresponding run by the S&P 500, notes LPL Financial, is that benchmark’s second-largest and second-longest bull market ever, with only the 1990s stock market run led by technology stocks in the way.

Despite a more than 10 percent correction in equities last month following a burst of bullish activity, Leuthold’s Doug Ramsey doesn’t think the bull is done yet.

“Assuming the Dow Jones industrial average can exceed its late-January high on March 9th or thereafter, this cyclical bull market will become the first one ever to last nine years,” said Ramsey, his firm’s chief investment officer. “Historically, cycle momentum highs are usually followed by a push to even higher price highs over the next several months.”

The Dow hit an all-time high of 26,616.71 on Jan. 26, the same day the S&P 500 clinched its own record of 2,872.87. The major indexes are off their record highs 6.4 percent and 4.6 percent respectively.

This chart from Leuthold Group shows where the Dow bull market stacks up since 1900. It’s far and away the longest in modern financial times. In terms of percentage gains, it’s third behind two bull markets pre-WWII.
