Tom & Nichole McGuire Get 15 Years

While the new Newspaper Owner John Robinson kept telling me the McGuire's were going to get off from ALL of the charges against them, a plea deal was made this morning obviously admitting their guilt to child sex abuse. Each will get a minimum of a 15 year sentence.

The scumbags will have to file as sex offenders for the rest of their lives, should they ever make it out of jail.

SO HOW DID A HIDDEN CAMERA GET BY ROMNEY SECURITY AT A PRIVATE EVENT IN THE FIRST PLACE? FORMER SECRET SERVICE AGENT EXPLAINS

With 16 videos uploaded by Mother Jones on YouTube showing Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s remarks at a private fundraiser in May, one may wonder how a hidden camera was missed for such a rising, high-profile individual. Wouldn’t certain security measures have been taken if Romney were going to make “off the cuff” comments that had the potential to be misconstrued by those seeking to mince his every word?
First, a little background: Today we learned that former President Jimmy Carter’s grandson, James Carter IV, facilitated the connection of the person who allegedly filmed the event – “Anne Onymous”   on YouTube — and Mother Jones writer David Corn, who uploaded the videos Monday. The short clips show a small, grainy Romney with the surroundings indicating it was a formal dinner. The camera appears to be hidden at the bar as a carafe of wine is present in some of the clips and an arrangement that could be a plant is seen as well.  It is unknown if it is a cellphone or another type of recording device that captured the footage.

Bill's Speech

Why I Love Barack Obama

I’ve received complaints about being too hard on President Obama, since he is an exceptionally nice guy, likable, kind-hearted, and well-intentioned to boot.
So let me do my best to fashion a love letter to Barack Obama, the way the majority of Americans would have it.
Barack, I love that you always follow through with your promises. Like closing Guantanamo Bay, ending extraordinary rendition, terminating the “war on terror” (even though you are fighting for the indefinite detention provision of NDAA), not using drones to kill innocent women and children, and not unconstitutionally declaring wars against foreign countries like Libya.

Lost Dog Reunited With Owners After 3 Years

IF YOU WATCH ONE KARAOKE VIDEO TODAY, MAKE IT THIS AMAZING ONE

Your ears about to thank you.
A video posted on YouTube Sunday could be the best one you see all week. It shows what is described as a “South-East Asian girl” standing in front of a karaoke machine inside a department store and belting Whitney Houston’s iconic “I Will Always Love You.“ And when we say ”belting,” what we really mean is hitting every note and blowing the store — and the the world — away.
In fact, the video has even made its way to RyanSeacrest.com  , where it received high praise. See why below (and be sure to turn the volume up to really give your ears an experience):

OBAMA CHASTISED: COME CLEAN ON ISLAM!

Voters may soon have even more reason to ask Barack Obama why his policies have aided the Muslim Brotherhood.
An organization called Let Freedom Ring   is working to buy air time for a new commercial highlighting both the Brotherhood’s radical agenda and Obama’s support for the terror-tied organization.
The advertisement claims the Muslim Brotherhood seeks to conquer Israel, renew ties with Iran – a country “building nuclear weapons to slaughter the Israeli people” – and even collapse the United States from within. Is that the kind of group America’s president should be helping?

JUSTIN BIEBER’S MOM DETAILS WHY SHE CHOSE NOT TO ABORT HER SON

Justin Bieber is a pop phenomenon who has millions of adoring fans. But from time-to-time, the popular 18-year-0ld performer dips his toes into the sociopolitical world, commenting on controversial issues of importance like abortion and health care. This week, Bieber’s mother, Pattie Mallette, is following in her son’s footsteps.

Rather than tackling issues in a political framework, Mallette is speaking out about her personal experience with sexual abuse, depression and the prospects of abortion. In an interview with “Today”   that will air this week, she explains why she opted not to have an abortion and to keep her son.
At the age of 17, Mallette became pregnant with Bieber and was encouraged to have an abortion, but that prospect wasn’t palatable to her, she explained.

Chicago Teachers Vote To Suspend Strike

Delegates for striking Chicago Public Schools teachers voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to suspend their nine-day strike, meaning classes will resume Wednesday, according to delegates who attended a union meeting.
About 800 delegates from the teachers union gathered at midafternoon to vote on whether to suspend the walkout, which began September 10.
The vote came a day after school officials asked a judge to declare the strike illegal and order the teachers back to work. A Cook County judge had scheduled a hearing on that request Wednesday.

PROTESTS MORPH INTO THREAT TO WESTERN ASSETS

The surge of anti-American demonstrations, first in the Middle East and now throughout the Muslim world, has morphed into anti-Western opposition that is placing all that is Western in jeopardy, including assets, businesses and people themselves, says a report from Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.
Many of the demonstrations, prompted initially by a U.S.-produced film ridiculing Muhammad, apparently were delayed to coincide with the anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States on Sept. 11, 2001, since the film actually first appeared last June.
All the violent demonstrations, especially against U.S. embassies, businesses such as KFC and even American schools, have been undertaken by more radical Sunni Salafists and groups associated with al-Qaida.

Libya: We Gave US Three-Day Warning of Benghazi Attack

American diplomats were warned of possible violent unrest in Benghazi three days before the killings of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three members of his team, Libyan security officials say.

The claim came as the country's interim President, Mohammed el-Megarif, said his government had information that the attack on the US consulate had been planned by an Islamist group with links to al-Qa'ida and with foreigners taking part.

However, the American ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice, insisted that the killings had resulted from a demonstration against a film about the Prophet Mohamed, replicating protests in Cairo, which had been "hijacked" and got out of control.

PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS ON RISE – IN U.S.

'It is dramatic, I have never seen levels of attacks like these'

A report by two U.S.-based religious freedom groups says anti-Christian persecution is on the rise in America.

DID OBAMA SEND A 'GAY' AMBASSADOR TO LIBYA?

Did President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton send a “gay” ambassador to Muslim-majority Libya, where homosexual behavior is a crime punishable by imprisonment?
Believing the “Arab Spring” countries would be encouraged to embrace democracy through left-leaning diplomats dedicated to understanding and dialoguing with Muslim communities, did a State Department under Secretary Clinton that refused to establish rules of engagement providing embassy personnel Marine Corp protection take the additional risk of placing a gay ambassador in Muslim countries?
The question comes amid claims in the diplomatic community that J. Christopher Stevens — the U.S. ambassador to Libya brutally murdered on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks — was homosexual.

A Letter To The Editor 9-18-12 On Bennett Middle School

Hi Joe:

In the four weeks at BMS I have learned that prisoners have more rights than the students. I learned yesterday that students are not "allowed" to turn in papers early, even if they are completed early. How crazy is that?

Also, students are not permitted to use the restroom during class time more than four times in a marking term. As everyone knows BMS is very overcrowded, the
students have five minutes to get from one classroom to the next, they have to go to there lockers and restroom and be sitted before the bell rings or they will be
marked as tardy.

What every happened to disciplining the students who try and take advantage of the system. My son is an "A" student, he is good and has liked school until this year.
Now he gets "down in the dumps" and has a sick feeling in his stomach when going to the bus stop.

I am only one person and I don't know that I can do anything, but I think all parents need to pay attention to the way our children are being treated in school. I sure wish that there were cameras in all classrooms, so that we could tell what really goes on.

CHARTS: Rise Of Government Dependence

Mitt Romney's comment about 47 percent of Americans living on government handouts may not have been tactful, but he certainly has a point.

Americans are more dependent on the government than ever.

Romney's "47 percent" refers approximately to the population who pay no federal income tax. Add to this the share of country who receive government handouts in one form or another and that number would be higher still.

4000 Marines Headed To Middle East As Part Of Peleliu Amphibious Group Dispatch

Up until now, the LHD 7 Iwo Jima Big-Deck Amphibious Warfare ship was all alone in the Arabian Sea, patiently awaiting orders to liberate this or that middle east country of their oil reserves. This is no longer the case: launching today in general direction - Middle East - for a brand new 7 month engagement, is the LHA 1 Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group, consisting of the amphibious assault ship, the USS Peleliu which consists of 4000 marines. LHA 1 also comprises of the amphibious transport dock USS Green Bay and the dock landing ship USS Rushmore. Also deploying Monday is the Marine Corps' 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and elements of Fleet Surgical Team 1, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23, Assault Craft Units 1 and 5, and Beach Master Unit 1. And as we reported previously, the middle east veteran - the CVN 74 Stennis aircraft carrier - was providently already on its way. In other words, in about 2 weeks, the Middle east will be the focal point of 3 aircraft carriers, 2 amphibious assault forces, and who knows how many "developed" world armadas, all hell bent on securing that one extra bit of Middle East oil, under the guise of spreading democracy and liberating the local people who "hate America's for its freedom."

Libya - Doomed From Day One

People often ask me why the West doesn’t attempt a Libya-style intervention in Syria. After all, things are going so well in Libya. Oil production is up. But oil production is merely a mirage, as is security in Libya, which was doomed from the day one PG (post-Gaddafi) because of the way it was “liberated”.

On Wednesday, US envoy to Libya Christopher Stevens was killed along with three other American diplomats in a rocket attack on the US consulate in Benghazi.

What about the oil, that global elixir? Well, the violence will not bode well for Libya’s production ambitions, coming at a time when the country looked prepared for a boost in output and was banking on this for economic growth.

Security was already dubious at best, and now international oil companies will be more reluctant than ever. Those that are already there—Germany’s Wintershall AG, Italy’s Eni and France’s Total—will be seeking to beef up security and have already started sending some of their workers home.

If the picture was not clear from the onset of the post-Gaddafi atmosphere, it certainly came into focus earlier this summer when protests over parliamentary elections forced the temporary closure of the el-Sider oil terminal, the country’s biggest.

What Is Premium Gas?

EVEN at the cheapest petrol station in your correspondent's neighborhood, filling up the family kidmobile with premium (91 octane) fuel now costs over $70. As the meter clocks up dizzying dollar amounts, he looks longingly at the regular (87 octane) pump. Switching from his vehicle’s recommended premium-grade fuel to the cheaper variety would lower his fuel bill by at least 20 cents a gallon (more than five cents a litre). The question is, would it be worth it?

On the surface, the decision appears easy. Because the name “premium” implies a souped-up fuel that packs an extra punch, many motorists actually believe it delivers more oomph or miles per gallon—and may therefore represent good value. The truth, however, is that premium contains no more energy than regular petrol—around 114,000 British Thermal Units per gallon, depending on the season, the region, the local pollution requirements, and the amount of bio-ethanol that has to be added to petrol in America by law to keep the country’s corn-growers in clover (see “Competition at the pump”, August 20th 2012). The difference between premium and regular petrol lies in the blend of hydrocarbons used to make the fuel, and the package of additives mixed into it.

Emails Reveal Justice Dept. Regularly Enlists Media Matters To Spin Press

Internal Department of Justice emails obtained by The Daily Caller show Attorney General Eric Holder’s communications staff has collaborated with the left-wing advocacy group Media Matters for America in an attempt to quell news stories about scandals plaguing Holder and America’s top law enforcement agency.

Dozens of pages of emails between DOJ Office of Public Affairs Director Tracy Schmaler and Media Matters staffers show Schmaler, Holder’s top press defender, working with Media Matters to attack reporters covering DOJ scandals. TheDC obtained the emails through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. (RELATED: Complete coverage of Media Matters for America)

Emails sent in September and November 2010 show Schmaler working with Media Matters staffer Jeremy Holden on attacking news coverage of the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation scandal.

Holden attacked former DOJ Civil Rights Division attorneys J. Christian Adams and Hans von Spakovsky on Sept. 20, 2010 for what he called an attempt “to reignite the phony New Black Panther Party scandal.”

City Of Salisbury Employees Being Paid 8% Above Average

According to a study that was done a few years ago, (the Singer Study) Salisbury Employees are being paid 8% more than other municipalities in the state. The ONLY area in which employees weren't paid enough was actually the Salisbury Police Department. Their salaries were -18% LESS.

One other issue I found extremely interesting is the fact that ALL City Employees have the second highest benefit package in the state. Let me also share some of the other municipalities in the study.

Annapolis
Cambridge
Dover
Easton
Hagerstown
Frederick
OC
PRMC
SU
Sussex County
Town Of OC
UMES
Worcester County

Fist of all, I was not aware such a study had been done. Secondly, you have to wonder WHY this hasn't been exposed by the Main Stream Media. My guess, it doesn't fit the Mayors agenda.

Currently Mayor Ireton is behind the scenes asking for a pay increase to the rest of the City Employees. Yet the study clearly shows the only group grossly underpaid is the Salisbury Police Department.

Since the study was completed, the only thing we've ALL experienced is a deep recession. I'd have to say that IF City Employees are not happy with their work environment, something must be wrong with Department Heads, especially in the Public Works Department.

As many of you will recall last week, quite a few Public Works Employees came forward on PAC 14 stating they were not being treated equally, or perhaps unfairly. According to this study they are incorrect. When their pay is 8% ABOVE average and the SPD is 18% BELOW average, the Public Works Director need to sit down with those employees and share this study.

This is something Mayor Ireton should have been on top of as well. Again, he's a School Teacher, NOT a business person with experience. Also remember, the Mayor has this information at his fingertips.

Now some might say this isn't a popular Post for me to put up, considering I'm running for Mayor. However, the truth is the truth. I'm not sure if this link will work but I'll put it up and see. SingerGroup42705.pdf

Obama’s Security Breach In Libya Is Ignored By American Media

As the liberal American press and ultra-liberal bloggers inundate the Internet and newsprints with criticisms of what Mitt Romney, the GOP presidential challenger to President Barack Obama, said about Obama during the Libyan attacks and murders, throngs of foreign press and few American outlets tell the real story involved with the White House’s role in the incidents that we now know could have been prevented.

After the American media grabbed and held the pro-Obama headlines against Romney’s comments and took Obama’s “Romney shoots first and aims second” quote to iconic proportions, the rest of the world is reporting that the Obama administration knew about the planned-attack on the Benghazi, Libya Embassy where four Americans, including United States Ambassador Christopher Steven was murdered.

That strong allegation needs to be “the story”, not the political-trouncing of Mitt Romney, a man who has nothing to do with the White House, the U.S. Embassy, or the deadly and non-deadly attacks on our United States Embassy’s around the world. “The story” obviously involves the White House and the president within – Barack Obama – not the Massachusetts challenger.

Lambasted Chinese Solar Panels Placed On Government Building

Government officials blame unfair competition from China for the collapse of solar panel manufacturer Solyndra, but such concerns didn’t stop the federal government from breaking stimulus program rules to use Chinese solar panels atop a federal building housing the offices of a senator, congressman and several agencies.
Even the contractor questioned whether Chinese-made panels could be used under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the stimulus program that mandated use of U.S.-made products. His query in early 2010 was dismissed and the General Services Administration moved forward with using the Chinese panels on the Sen. Paul Simon Federal Building in Carbondale, Ill., records show.
Questions about the panels, which were assembled overseas, were raised in a four-page advisory memo sent by the inspector general to the GSA in the summer of 2011, but the findings take on added significance as government officials increasingly place blame on Chinese subsidies for troubles in the U.S. solar market.

WHAT'S $12.8 TRILLION TO BANKSTERS?

Great report out about the costs of the 2008 financial crisis. Total cost $12.8 trillion!

Instead of letting the banks collapse, write off debts and toxic crap, the banks and banksters were bailed out. TARP and $700 billion look like a drop in the bucket compared to the real cost to the economy. 2008 was a wake-up call for people with a brain. Hank Paulson bailed out his buddies at Goldman Sachs, and even provided insider information that Freddie and Fannie were about to go bankrupt. His pals probably made billions, and taxpayers got stuck with the $700 billion tab for their criminal behavior.

I’ll never forget, will you? Paulson’s bullshit testimony and fear-mongering; threatening martial law if the bailout wasn’t passed? One of the loudest public outcries against the bailouts in history. The criminals politicians voted the bailout down, and then two days later “poof”, Paulson makes a back-room deal with democrats and gets the bailout money anyway. That, to me, was the day our democracy died.

Teen Sexting Linked To Real-World Risky Sexual Behavior

Teens who send and receive sexually explicit texts or photos, colloquially known as “sexting,” are likely engaging in the same kinds of risky sexual behaviors offline, finds a new survey of Los Angeles high school students.

The recent survey of about 1,800 mostly Hispanic L.A. students, ages 12 to 18, found that teens who said they had sexted were seven times more likely to be sexually active than their peers who had never sent a naughty text. About three-quarters of surveyed teens had cell phones they used regularly; 15% had sexted and 54% said they knew someone who had. Kids who said their friends were sexting were 17 times more likely to sext themselves.

Although only a minority of teens engaged in sexting, those who did were not only more likely to be sexually active, but they also had higher chances of having unprotected sex during their last sexual encounter.

THE REAL REASON FOR RIOTS AROUND THE WORLD

Food Prices + Hunger Index = Riots, Civil Wars and Revolutions

For every 10 percent increase in global food prices there is a 100 percent increase in anti-government protests, according to a recent report from the International Monetary Fund. Looking at recent price increases in global ag commodities — up about 20 percent so far this year — it’s no wonder there are Arab Fall flare ups (this time directed at America) breaking out across the globe. According to the IMF, a 20 percent increase in foodstuffs should triple the levels of unrest, and that seems to be precisely what’s happening.

The chaos caused by food inflation and hunger back in 2011 was heartwarmingly marketed by propagandists as democratization. Remember the French Revolution and “let them eat cake.” The causa proxima was food inflation, not stupid remarks or films. I hypothesize: Food Price Index + FAO Hunger Index = Riots, Civil Wars and Revolutions.

Why Did Obama Use The N-Word To Describe His Grandfather?

"My image of Onyango, faint as it was, had always been of an autocratic man—a cruel man, perhaps. But I had also imagined him an independent man, a man of his people, opposed to white rule… What Granny had told us scrambled that image completely, causing ugly words to flash across my mind. Uncle Tom. Collaborator. House nigger.”

In one of the most remarkable passages in Barack Obama's "Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance," he uses the terms "collaborator," "Uncle Tom," and "House nigger" to describe someone he detests. That someone, it turns out, is his own grandfather! We have a striking phenomenon here: the first African American president using the N-word, and to refer to his own grandfather! Ordinarily this would be occasion for massive comment and analysis, but if there has been any, I am not aware of it.

So what could possibly cause the president to describe his own grandfather in this appalling way? The answer, it turns out, provides an important insight into Obama’s character. The president is not the healer and unifier that he said he was four years ago. Rather, he views people who disagree with him—including members of his own family—in terms of ideological kinship or betrayal. And by Obama’s standard, even his own grandfather is an ideological sellout deserving of insults and abuse.

FAIL FAIL FAIL

The unleashing of QE3–unlimited money-printing in support of the financial Status Quo– is proof the Fed has failed, failed, failed. If anything the Fed has done in the past four years had actually had a positive consequence in the real economy, Bernanke would have identifed that policy and expanded it in a measured response.

Instead he went all-in, emptying the Fed’s toolbox in one big dump: unlimited money-printing, unlimited propping of the mortgage market, unlimited support of low Treasury rates and three more years of zero-interest rate policy (ZIRP). Here is the translation of the Fed Chairman’s public comments: whatever. Did you see any of his testimony? It was painfully obvious that either 1) he was sky-high on Ibogaine or 2) he was just going through the motions, duly enunciating PR “cover” that he finds tiresome to repeat and impossible to say with any sincerity or conviction.

His body language and delivery said: “You think I believe this canned shuck and jive? Get real, chumps.”

Shelton faces burglary, malicious destruction of property, trespassing and animal cruelty charges.

The Obama administration had some harsh words Friday after a federal judge appointed by Obama said the government doesn't have a right to indefinitely detain anyone even remotely associated with terrorist groups.

Judge Katherine B. Forrest permanently blocked the government from enforcing the National Defense Authorization Act, claiming it was too vague and would have a "chilling effect" on free speech.

And now the Department of Justice is calling Forrest's ruling "unprecedented," arguing that the government has long had the authority to detain anyone it deems a threat to the county, The Wall Street Journal's Law Blog reported Friday.
