Neil Abercrombie Ousted In Hawaii Primary

HONOLULU — Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie lost his bid for a second term Saturday, as Democrats instead opted for a little-known state senator to represent the party in the November general election.

Abercrombie is the first sitting U.S. governor to lose renomination since 2010.

As primary results came in showing Abercrombie badly trailing David Ige, the special Senate primary between incumbent Brian Schatz and challenger Colleen Hanabusa was still too close to call.

Delmar School District Disrupts Thousands Of Parents

Here we go again!

I'm not sure if you experience the same problem in other Counties or school districts but last year we received extremely early morning calls, (like 5:00 AM) and multiple calls that had absolutely NOTHING to do with our Grandson.

We don't want to hear about every single thing going on at Delmar High School and with today's technology you'd think they could break those phone calls down to a specific grade level.

Nevertheless, this morning we received yet another phone call at 7:00 AM to give updates on the upcoming school year. REALLY, 7:00 AM on a SUNDAY!

Granted, I have been up since 5:30 AM but this is one of the days my Wife gets to sleep in, not today. On behalf of ALL of the Parents from Delmar, CUT IT OUT!

BREAKING NEWS: OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF SALISBURY CITY COUNCILWOMAN TERRY E. COHEN

OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF
SALISBURY CITY COUNCILWOMAN
TERRY E. COHEN
August 4, 2014

Over the last seven-plus years, I have been blessed to have been entrusted by the people of Salisbury, specifically District 2, to serve as their representative on this council.  Having this opportunity to work toward improving the quality of life for others came not once-in-a-lifetime, but twice for me.  My heart is filled with gratitude for that trust and for the support I received from all over the city.

Therefore, I know those I represent will understand when I say that today is my last council meeting and why that is so.

Throughout my entire time on council, my husband, my children and other members of my family have given me the love, support and yes, sacrifices, that make this kind of service possible.  My family and I have achieved an amazing amount of balance together to enable me to accomplish what I have for them and for you.  This has also been possible due to the support of many people in Salisbury who understood from the very start that I am a wife, a mother and a business owner, as well as their public servant.

However, during the course of the last ten months or so, my family and I have experienced some major life changes, including a recent tragic loss.  What lies ahead for us will demand such an extent of my time and attention that my continued service as a council member will not be possible at a level that I demand of myself.  My family and I have discussed numerous possibilities to try to enable my service to continue until the end of my second term, but no option does justice to either my family or my service to you.

Often, at this point in a farewell statement, public officials will list a number of their accomplishments, joint or solo.  Of course, there are many things I did of which I am proud, most especially working with others to bring Salisbury to a higher level of governmental transparency, fiscal responsibility and violent crime reduction.

I will not be going through a long list today.  That kind of reflection is better reserved for another time and place.

Sometimes, a departing public official will list a number of their grievances, but this is not a political decision. If such analysis is to be done, it also requires another time and place.

Right now, the proverbial plate is as full as my heart.  My last actual day will be this Friday, August 8th, to afford time for closure of some matters with constituents, staff and governmental colleagues.  To my fellow public officials – whether elected or appointed, paid or volunteer --  and to my successor, I wish you much luck in your work on behalf of the people of Salisbury and wish you wisdom in all your decisions.

Cohen – Official Statement – Page 2

To the people of Salisbury, thank you for giving me this incredible opportunity to serve you.  Even after my time on council is done, as my situation may permit in the future, I hope to continue to assist you in whatever way I can.

Together with my family and friends, you have enabled me to continue my lifelong commitment to the words of Hillel, addressing the issues of personal responsibility, social responsibility and the urgency of both:

If I am not for myself,
Who will be for me?
If I am only for myself,
What am I?
And if not now, when?

I thank G-d for the many blessings I have today, but most of all, for my family.  To my husband, to my children, to my entire family, including those we have lost, thank you for your contributions – so often unrecognized – and for your love and support.

OC Firefighter Responds To Viral Attack By The Media

Michael Maykrantz

The aggressive politically motivated efforts in the media to personally attack my integrity, and challenge my lifelong commitment to public service, shall not go unanswered. My actions on July 26th during the bridge failure, was to protect two pedestrians walking in traffic on Rt. 50 by removing them from harm’s way. My decision was warranted, necessary, and my duty as a Firefighter/Paramedic without discrimination. My dedication to the citizens of this community, and their safety, will not be suppressed.

OC Employee Gave Ride To Girls With Alcohol During Bridge Ordeal

OCEAN CITY — An unidentified Ocean City employee has been disciplined for a clear lack of good judgment after providing a ride to private citizens carrying unopened alcohol in a town ambulance during last month’s Route 50 Bridge breakdown.

Around 3 p.m. on, July 26, the Route 50 bridge was stuck in the open position following a routine, scheduled open-closure during peak travel time on a busy Saturday afternoon. The bridge remained stuck in the open position for about five hours, causing gridlock throughout the resort and outward along Route 50, Route 90, Route 589 and Route 54 and into Lower Sussex County.

During the heightened response time for Ocean City emergency responders, a town employee on an ambulance allowed two female individuals to ride in a city emergency vehicle while they were carrying alcohol, in what was at worst an egregious violation and at best a temporary lapse in judgment. Ocean City officials recently learned of the incident after receiving a complaint from a witness.

WCSO Press Release 8-4-14 (Attempted First Degree Murder)

Incident: Attempted First Degree Murder
Date of Incident: August 4, 2014
Location: 7200 Block of Rockawalkin Road in Hebron, MD

Narrative: This morning, Wicomico County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center regarding a subject who had been brought into the Emergency Room with extensive injuries sustained during an assault.

Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis has confirmed that 31 year old Zachary Swanson of Hebron was savagely beaten and nearly killed by two cohabitants of a Hebron home in which the three shared with others on Rockawalkin Road. The incident began shortly after 1AM this morning when the suspects, following an argument with the victim, commenced to beating the victim. The suspects then attempted to forcibly carve a unique tattoo, consistent with the Juggalos Cult, from the victim’s arm. Unable to successfully remove the tattoo, the suspects doused the victim’s arm with a flammable liquid, set fire to it, severely burning and charring the same.

After being left on the ground for several hours without medical treatment, the victim was ultimately driven to the PRMC where he was examined and subsequently flown to a Baltimore burn center for further treatment.

Members of the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation have assumed investigative responsibility for this case and have arrested and charged the following two suspects:

1) Paul Martin Hurst 33 YOA, Hebron, MD
2) Cary Lee Edwards 35 YOA, Williamsburg, VA.

Each man has been charged with the following:

1) Attempted First Degree Murder
2) Attempted Second Degree Murder
3) First Degree Assault
4) Second Degree Assault
5) Reckless Endangerment
6) Deadly Weapon

Detectives from the WBI are currently executing a Search Warrant on the Rockawalkin home and on the vehicle used to transport the victim to the hospital. Based on preliminary investigation, detectives are exploring the strong possibility that those involved are affiliated with Juggalos, a cult following of the Insane Clown Posse, an American hip hop duo from Detroit, Michigan, originally known as the JJ Boyz and Inner City Posse, a group that has introduced supernatural and horror-themed lyrics as a means of distinguishing itself stylistically.

Any questions can be directed to the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office at 410-548-4891 or 410-548-4898.

A Letter To The Editor: "Car shopping in the knee high grass"

This morning, I went to the local Toyota dealership to look at the Rav4's. They are parked in an unmowed field. It is bad enough I nearly twisted my ankle at Nissan wandering around on uneven gravel to see the Murano's and Pathfinders. But when I located the Rav4's in this condition, I quit.

I am sure I will hear the excuse I can shop online, and yes I have, but I still want to see what I am thinking of buying.

Fact is, I was at Toyota in 2012 looking at a Highlander, and it was the same exact way, in the same unmowed field.

Windfall Tax on Retirement Income

Adding a tax to your retirement is simply another way of saying to the American people, you're so darn stupid that we're going to keep doing this until we drain every cent from you. Nancy Pelosi wants a Windfall Tax on Retirement Income.  In other words tax what you have made by investing toward your retirement.  This woman is a nut case!  You aren't going to believe this.

Nancy Pelosi wants to put a Windfall Tax on all stock market profits (including Retirement fund, 401K and Mutual Funds!

Alas, it is true - all to help the 12 Million Illegal Immigrants and other unemployed Minorities!

This woman is frightening.

She quotes...' We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income, (didn't Marx say something like this?), in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.'  (I am not rich, are you?)

When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied:

'We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities.  For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities.. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as 'Americans'.

NANCY.... LAST I LOOKED ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ( TRESPASSERS ) WERE NOT AMERICANS !!!!

A Comment Worthy Of A Post 8-9-14

A Senior Fire Chief has left a new comment on your post "OC Firefighter Responds To Viral Attack By The Med...":

These oats have already been thru the horse. This guy was amplifying his chances for a later chance sexual encounter with one possibly two unfamiliar females and to bolster said chance the use of a City ambulance and uniform. In his little pea brain, he thought he could rationalize and justify this situation so the lights dim on his assinine antics while acting under the auspice of a paramedic. This is NO wise a professional endeavor and I fault the Town for not suspending him right away. He`s another predator whom the Town of Ocean City is both sponsoring and harboring. Number one, there was NO call for service, Two, the fact they were walking indicated no physical malady that needed medical treatment, Three, traffic related issues ARE NOT the business of thr EMS branch of public safety, and on and on. I`d have serious reservations concerning him treating ANY female not in the pulic eye at the time not in plain sight. The Town had better take a close look at this because somewhere down the road there is a lawsuit hiding in the shadows. Had this man been under me he would be relieved immediately.

12 Questions For ‘Palestine’ Supporters: Can You Even Answer One?!

With proof that Gaza is fudging the number of civilian deaths, Israel stands alone against a world that believes the IDF is to blame for dead Palestinian women and children.

Even more so, Israel has spent centuries defending her right to simply exist (millennia if you count Biblical texts).

However, even looking back to 1948, Israel has been a constant target of her Arab enemies, which make up more than 600 times the size of the only Jewish state in the world.

Still, Hamas and Palestine supporters spew unfounded “history” as reason for the destruction of Israel. So, we have a few questions for these anti-Semitics. Perhaps one day someone can answer them:

Jackie O tapes to reveal her and JFK's affairs and who she believed was behind his death

Jackie Onassis believed that Lyndon B Johnson and a cabal of Texas tycoons were involved in the assassination of her husband John F Kennedy, ‘explosive’ recordings are set to reveal.

The secret tapes will show that the former first lady felt that her husband’s successor was at the heart of the plot to murder him.

She became convinced that the then vice president, along with businessmen in the South, had orchestrated the Dallas shooting, with gunman Lee Harvey Oswald – long claimed to have been a lone assassin – merely part of a much larger conspiracy.

Texas-born Mr Johnson, who served as the state’s governor and senator, completed Mr Kennedy’s term and went on to be elected president in his own right.

Biden On Illegal Minors: “These Are Our Kids”

Said world will judge America by way it treats illegal immigrant children

Vice President Joe Biden believes the massive influx of children illegally entering the United States from Central America are the responsibility of the American people.

“These are our kids,” he said, according to the Associated Press.

Biden said the world will judge America by the way it treats tens of thousands of children, many of them delivered to the border by Mexican drug cartels.

In June, Rep. Nancy Pelosi suggested taking in the illegal immigrant children. “I wish I could take all those children home with me,” she told reporters.

In July she compared the underage immigrants to baby Jesus.

TALK ABOUT A LOAD OF CRAP!

Credit Donkey rates Salisbury #10 as one of the top ten cities to live in, in Maryland. Wait until you see the rest.

10. SALISBURY Share "Salisbury #10 - Study: Best Cities to Live in Maryland" on Facebook Tweet " on TwitterSalisbury #10 - Study: Best Cities to Live in Maryland"

  • Odds of Being a Victim of a Violent Crime: 1 in 84

  • Residents With a Bachelor's Degree or Higher: 27.8%

Salisbury sits on Maryland's eastern shore, approximately 20 minutes south of the Delaware border. Known as the crossroads of the Delmarva Peninsula, Salisbury is within a couple hours of several major cities, including Baltimore and Washington D.C. Food processing and agriculture are the two largest industries, with a sizable percentage of residents employed by Perdue Farms.
Did You Know: Salisbury University consistently ranks as one of the best and most affordable public universities in the northern United States.

Look at some of the differences referencing crime. Take Bowie as an example. I spent 20 years of my life in Bowie and this stat is a load of crap as well.

Look, I am NOT trying to knock Salisbury, really I'm not. I just get sick and tired of municipal governments coming up with figures and programs, (like Safe Streets) to curb the real numbers.

Two days ago WBOC stated that major crime in Salisbury was down over 50%. Real journalism, real community responsibility would have gone on to say, however, theft and burglary are up 1,000%. If you had two murders last year and only one this year, YES, crime is down 50%.

My point is, IF someone is considering moving here and the local MSM and municipalities are sending out the message Salisbury is actually a SAFE place to live and raise your children, they are lying.

Real Estate Agents take those statements and tell people, well crime is down 50%. Are they LYING???

Now, because I publish articles like this one, Joe Albero is labeled the BAD GUY. When we have people contacting me telling me the Police refused to open a case for a bicycle being stolen and instead give you a case number for your insurance company, ARE POLICE REALLY DOING THEIR JOB? Am I the bad guy because I expose this going on over and over again?

One thing I can tell you is that our numbers keep increasing each and every day. More and more people are coming here by word of mouth because more people want others to know the TRUTH. We provide documents, photos and information that PROVE what we are saying is the TRUTH.

When I see information out there like what you are seeing above I simply CRINGE! It just goes to show, if you throw enough money at it you too can become an ALL AMERICAN CITY.

GO HERE to see more from CreditDonkey, or should I say JACKASS?

Is This What You Want For Your Next President?

“My accomplishments as Secretary of State? Well, I'm glad you asked! My proudest accomplishment in which I take the most pride, mostly because of the opposition it faced early on, you know… the remnants of prior situations and mindsets that were too narrowly focused in a manner whereby they may have overlooked the bigger picture and we didn’t do that and I’m proud of that. Very proud. I would say that’s a major accomplishment.”

- Hillary Clinton 11 March 2014

Could someone please tell me what the hell she just said?

WSJ POLL: 76% OF AMERICANS THINK THEIR CHILDREN'S LIVES WILL BE WORSE

A new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll reveals that an all-time record of 76% of Americans do not believe their children’s lives will be better than their own. Almost as many respondents, 71%, believe the U.S. is headed in the wrong direction, as compared to 63% only one month ago; 60% believe that direction is plunging downward.

A significant 70% of respondents credit their gloomy outlook to Washington politicians rather than the torpid economy, and 79% dislike the American political system.

Democratic pollster Fred Yang and Republican Bill McInturff conducted the poll. Yang said, "The American public is telling its elected representatives that the economic distress that a significant proportion of them are feeling is directly their fault. The public seems to have moved beyond the plaintive cry of 'feel our pain' to the more angry pronouncement of 'you are causing our pain.'"

Ellendale Man Arrested After Assaulting State Police K9

Bowers Beach, DE – Troopers have arrested a 33 year old Ellendale man after he assaulted a K9 during a search to locate him on an outstanding capias.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. Tuesday August 5, 2014 when troopers responded to the 2000 block of Bowers Beach Road to assist Probation and Parole with a wanted fugitive. Robert N. Berry, originally of Ellendale, was wanted for a violation of probation as well as a home confinement absconder when he cut off his ankle GPS tracking device. Information was received by Probation and Parole that Berry was residing at the Bowers Beach home and when the officers made contact with the homeowners, they informed them Berry had fled upstairs to the second floor upon their arrival.

A trooper and his K9 “Ripper” were dispatched to the residence and commands were given to the suspect that the K9 would be released if he did not surrender. Berry did not show himself or respond to the verbal commands and “Ripper” was released to search the second floor and an unfinished portion of the attic. Berry was soon located by “Ripper” in a small access area of the attic and upon making contact with him, was struck in the neck by Berry which caused the working dog to tumble onto his back. “Ripper” quickly jumped to his feet and began biting Robert Berry’s left leg until troopers had successfully taken him into custody.

Berry was initially transported to Kent General Hospital where he was treated and released with puncture wounds to his left leg. He was then taken back to Troop 3 where he was charged with Resisting Arrest and Assault 2nd on a Law Enforcement Canine. He was arraigned at JP2 and committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $2,000.00 cash bond on the above charges and $50,000.00 cash bond on the Violation of Probation.

“Ripper” did not sustain any injuries and continues to patrol with his trooper partner.

2 Congressmen Viewed Shocking 9-11 Report – Saudi Arabia & Israel May Be Connected To Use of Directed Energy Weapon on 9-11

Since 9-11, the U.S. Government has always known about who was involved in perpetrating 9-11. An investigation has reportedly revealed that Saudi Arabia and Israel may have been directly involved.

Additionally, since 2007, the federal government has in their possession a forensic investigation detailing critical evidence which confirmed the existence of free energy technology, as well as proof of it’s use on 9-11. In April 2007, Dr. Judy Wood with the help of Attorney Jerry Leaphart filed a case against contractors employed by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) for fraud and deception in covering up 9-11 evidence.

Based on Dr. Judy Wood’s extensive and conclusive investigation, we now have irrefutable evidence that a directed energy weapon was used to turn 1.5 million tons of WTC towers into dust in mid air.

What has not been revealed or known until now is who may be responsible. This recent revelation that 2 Congressman have read the 28 pages of the 9-11 report are shocked by what they have read.

If the Congressman have their way, the world will discover that Saudi Arabia and Israel may be reponsible for the use of a directed energy weapon on 9-11.

BREAKING NEWS: FORMER SALISBURY CITY COUNCIL PRESIDENT AND CURRENT COUNCILWOMAN TERRY COHEN RESIGNS

Moments ago on PAC14 Council Woman Terry Cohen JUST announced she is retiring and stepping down from the Salisbury City Council.

I for one would like to THANK Mrs. Cohen for the many years she has dedicated herself to the citizens of Salisbury.

I would also like to thank her Family for allowing her to serve as there are a select few that completely understand the toll this takes on a Family.

Mrs. Cohen will be sorely missed and I would hope that each one of you will offer a kind farewell and appreciation for her service to Salisbury, Maryland.

For 2016, Take Martin O’Malley Seriously

The Maryland governor is a problem-solver and a social-justice Catholic who can transcend the left-right divide. Keep an eye on him.

As Martin O’Malley dips his ankles into the deep end of national politics – most recently with his full-throated plea earlier this month against the deportation of immigrant children — I recalled the first time I saw him on a national stage.

I had a pretty good view: I was standing right next to him.

The two of us were being paraded as rising stars by the Democratic Leadership Council at the 2000 Democratic National Convention -- and even featured together on the cover of The New Democrat magazine.

Maryland Schools Moving Away From Suspensions For Disrespect

Maryland is urging its 1,450 public schools to move away from student suspensions for incidents of disrespect and insubordination as part of newly approved code-of-conduct guidelines.

The guidelines reflect the sweeping changes that the Maryland State Board of Education made six months ago as it sought to take a more rehabilitative approach toward student misconduct and reduce racial disparities in punishment.

The recommendations are intended to help districts as they update their local codes of conduct to incorporate the shift in Maryland’s thinking. They include a wide range of offenses matched with possible consequences.

U.S. Gov’t Loans $64.5M for Wind Farm--in Uruguay

(CNSNews.com) -- The Export-Import Bank of the United States is giving a $64.5 million direct loan to a company in Uruguay for the purchase of wind turbines made by a Spanish company at one of its plants in Pennsylvania, according to the bank.

The $64.5 million direct loan to Astidey S.A. , in Montevideo, Uruguay” is for “the purchase of U.S.-manufactured wind-turbine generators being exported by Gamesa Technology Corporation Inc., headquartered in Feasterville-Trevose, Penn.,” reads the July 10 press release from the Ex-Im Bank.

Gamesa, a Spain-based company, has offices around the world, including three in the United States: two in Pennsylvania (Fairless Hills and Trevose) and one in Minneapolis, Minn.

The Ex-Im Bank, which was initially chartered by Congress in 1934 and is up for renewal in September, is supposed to finance and insure the purchase of U.S. goods by foreign entities. The bank calls itself an “independent federal agency that creates and maintains U.S. jobs by filling gaps in private export financing at no cost to American taxpayers."
