Bongino: Trump ‘Not Secure’ in the White House

A former Secret Service agent who served in the security details of both Presidents Bush and Obama warned on Saturday that President Donald Trump “is not secure in the White House right now as it stands.”

Dan Bongino, who was also an instructor at the training academy of the Secret Service, was commenting on Friday night’s reported breach of the White House complex, at least the seventh such incident in recent years.

Bongino stated: “If one guy with a backpack and Omar Gonzales with a bad knee could get near the residence of the White House, can you tell me with a straight face that a forty-man tactical assault team with heavy weapons wouldn’t take that place down?”

Bongino was referring to a 2014 incident in which Gonzales penetrated the north portico doors of the White House, reportedly brandishing a three-and-a-half-inch folding knife in a back pocket.

“This is inexcusable,” Bongino said of the latest incident. “How many of these are we, as the citizenry, going to tolerate, whether under Barack Obama or now President Trump, before there is enough citizen outrage that the Secret Service actually does something?”

American-Based New Israel Fund Trying to Topple Netanyahu

A recently formed organization called Zazim has begun a campaign to topple Prime Minister Netanyahu. Currently, the Prime Minister is under investigation in two separate cases dealing with gifts that received from a businessman and certain ties and deals he may have had with the Media.

Avichai Mandelblit, the attorney general and a Netanyahu appointee, will be the one who will decide whether to recommend an indictment for Netanyahu. The organization is trying to apply public pressure on Avichai Mandelblit to recuse himself from the current investigation against Netanyahu. Zazim has begun their campaign by hanging up signs near Mandelblit’s house which say: "Mandelblit – Netanyahu’s Bodyguard" and call for him to recuse himself from all aspects of the investigation.

While Zazim tries to appear as a populist movement, in reality it is another arm of the of New Israel Fund (NIF) which is an American based 501(c)3 organization which has been actively trying to undermine Israel’s character as a Jewish state. In 2015, Zazim received a $175,000 grant from NIF, part directly from NIF and the remainder funded by private donors in coordination with NIF.

Zazim presents itself as a “campaigning community for social and political change”, who are united by, “shared values of human rights, social justice, combating racism and the occupation, environmental protection, government transparency and independent media.” In an interview on army radio, Zazim’s executive director, Raluca Ganea, admitted that the organization is "political but not partisan".

The organization may be not affiliated with a certain party, yet the leaders of Zazim and its chief activists are all connected with other radical left wing organizations – also funded by NIF. In the year 2015, the following radical left wing organizations all received grants from NIF: The Association for Civil Rights in Israel ($485,000), Yesh Din ($77,000), Adva Center ($207,000), Mahapach ($77,000).

Fearful Immigrants Are Offered Anti-Deportation Training

Don't open the front door if immigration officials knock. If you are taken into custody, tell them your name and nothing else. Definitely don't sign anything.

That is some of the advice being given in New York City and around the country at training sessions, put on by advocacy organizations, aimed at helping immigrants living in the country illegally get in as little trouble as possible if they encounter U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

Called "know your rights" training, the sessions have been pushed by some groups as a way to prepare for a possible crackdown on illegal immigration under President Donald Trump. Similar trainings are scheduled in New Mexico and El Paso.

The idea, organizers said, is to give immigrants guidance on how to legitimately push back against attempts to detain them, mostly using tactics designed to keep agents from learning anything they don't already know.

Now it’s new Democratic Party vs. American worker

Trevor Loudon exposes what's happened to the American left

The Democratic Party once produced presidents such as Harry Truman and John F. Kennedy. Major party leaders were fierce opponents of mass immigration because they recognized the negative impact it had on wages.

And America’s center-left party presented itself as a friend to American workers, fighting for their interests against corporate bosses.

But the Democratic Party of the past is not the Democratic Party of today. Indeed, one author and researcher suggests the current Democratic Party is more concerned with defending “international socialism” than American workers.

Trevor Loudon, who has researched communism and leftist movements for decades, exposes the change within the Democrats in his documentary “The Enemies Within.” He argues the current Democrat leadership team of chairman Tom Perez and vice-chairman Keith Ellison represents a fundamental departure for the party from its patriotic past.

“It is a socialist party,” he told WND. “Today’s Democratic Party has completely abandoned the ‘middle ground.’ It is now a full-on ‘progressive party’ with an agenda and platform almost indistinguishable from that of the Communist Party, or Democratic Socialists of America – which incidentally openly backed Ellison in his race against Perez.

“The Democrats of today would be marching in the streets against traditional Democrats such as Harry Truman or JFK.”

Seven foundation leaders paid themselves six-figure salaries

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation was awarded more than $500,000 in taxpayer-funded government grants since 2010, records show. Seven of its leaders additionally paid themselves six-figure salaries, according to the group's most recent tax filings.

The CBC Foundation, a nonprofit that is separate from the Congressional Black Caucus, carries a mission of advancing "the global black community by developing leaders, informing policy, and educating the public."

Despite its separation from the Congressional Black Caucus, a number of members sit on its board of directors. These representatives include Sheila Jackson Lee (D., Texas), who chairs the group, Keith Ellison (D., Minn.), Hank Johnson (D., Ga.), Emanuel Cleaver (D., Mo.), Alcee Hastings (D., Fla.), Gwen Moore (D., Wis.), Terri Sewell (D., Ala.), and Brenda Lawrence (D., Mich.).

American Men Are Giving Up On Jobs

I’ve written about this before, but there are 10 million American males between the age of 24 and 64 who have literally dropped out of the workforce. It means that they have given up on finding a job or are simply not looking.

But, focusing on just one subset among those who are 24–64, we see that white working-class males’ labor force participation rate has dropped to 59%.

The Economist has created something called a Forgotten Men Index, which shows the gap between white working-class men in particular and all men in general.

I bring this data up because white working-class men have become the focus of much current political discussion. The participation numbers are similar or worse for other racial categories except for Asians.

Newt: An important, first step towards a next generation health care system

The ObamaCare repeal bill Republicans presented this week is an important, first step toward achieving a next generation health care system in America.

For Republicans to meet their commitment to repeal ObamaCare – and to do so in a way that is real, lasting, and substantive – the writers of the American Health Care Act had to closely follow the Senate’s narrow budget reconciliation rules, which strictly limit legislation passed under budget reconciliation.

The Congressional Budget Act – which is the overarching legislation that sets reconciliation rules for both houses of Congress – says reconciliation can only be used on legislation that alters federal spending, revenues or the national debt.

ObamaCare certainly fits that bill, but rules in the Senate further limit reconciliation bills through a rule named after the late Democratic West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd.

Under the Byrd Rule, at any point during the reconciliation process, any senator can block any bill provision that doesn’t change the budget, spending or debt in specifically measurable ways. Other limitations under the Byrd rule include prohibitions against provisions that don’t fall under the jurisdiction of the committees that recommend them, or provisions that in any way change Social Security programs such as disability.

If House lawmakers include provisions that the Senate Parliamentarian finds to be extraneous or unrelated to budgetary matters, Senate Democrats can block them and slow down the Republicans’ momentum. This is the bottleneck through which every provision of the American Health Care Act has to fit.

School administrators don’t have much tolerance for student’s ‘straight pride’ posters

JASPER, Ind. – At least one student at Jasper High School has heard enough from his LGBT classmates.

The unidentified 16-year-old posted “Straight Pride” posters at Jasper High School last week, and the hilarious notices are not going over so well with school officials, the Dubois County Herald reports.

“Celebrate being straight at JHS by not annoying the heck out of everyone about your sexual orientation!” read the flyers, posted in the school’s hallways after classes last Thursday. “It’s easy! Just come to the JHS, then you go about your day without telling everyone about how ‘different’ and ‘special’ you are!”

The straight pride posters were “brought to you by all the students that are sick of hearing about your LGBT pride,” they continued.

Shia LaBoeuf Raised Anti-Trump Flag In Secret Location, Best Game Of ‘Capture The Flag’ Was On!

Few things were sillier than actor Shia LaBoeuf’s cult-like “He Will Not Divide Us” anti-Trump exhibit in New York City.

Things started to go bad as he got continually trolled. He then allegedly attacked a troll and was arrested. The publicity ended the exhibit, as the location said they no longer wanted to deal with the nonsense.

LaBeouf then moved it to Albuquerque, New Mexico but still met trolls.

So he decided to raise a “He Will Not Divide Us” flag that he said would stay up on a livestream for the 4 years of the Trump administration.

With Trump in lead, Republicans slog past party opposition to health reform plan

Republicans this week will push ahead with a healthcare reform proposal that they hope can win over reluctant conservatives with the help of President Trump and Air Force One.

Trump plans to head to Tennessee on Wednesday, where he'll hold a rally in Nashville.

"He's going to be very engaged in it," Rep. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., said after meeting with Trump last week about the proposal. "He's going to dedicate as much time to it as he can."

"Every conservative group out there is opposed to this legislation," Rep. Jim Jordan, a top member on the influential House Freedom Caucus, declared on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" last week.

Governor Hogan: It Is Ludicrous To Have To Go With A Rudderless Ship At DHMH

Veterans' bill deserves bipartisan support

With most Americans' minds on healthcare reform this week, the House of Representatives will take a first step toward fulfilling President Trump's campaign promises to veterans.

Throughout President Obama's second term, scandals consumed the Department of Veterans Affairs. They evinced an uncaring, self-centered bureaucracy that serves its own needs rather than those of the veterans with whose care it is charged.

The House is expected to pass the VA Accountability First Act, which would dramatically speed up the firing and punishing of bureaucrats who engage in abuses. Now that Veterans administration staff at all levels have been caught lying, cheating, and gaming the system to cheat their way to undeserved bonus pay or to avoid accountability, Senate Democrats owe it to veterans to get this bill to Trump's desk with a bipartisan stamp of approval.

Georgia State Representative Files Bill to Automatically Censor Internet Content

When you buy a computer, you want to be able to use it for whatever you want. Even if that involves viewing adult content via the internet, there's not a darn thing anyone can do to stop you, nor should there be. After all, liberty is the ability to do what you want so long as it doesn't infringe on someone else's liberty.

However, in my home state of Georgia, one legislator apparently doesn't care about freedom unless she personally approves of the behavior:

State representative Paulette Rakestraw has filed House Bill 509 which would require retailers to put a “digital blocking capability” on some devices to make “obscene material” inaccessible. Retailers, in this code section, would mean anyone who SELLS or LEASES a device that allows content to be accessed on the Internet. The “blocking capability” is required to make porn, child porn, revenge porn, websites about prostitution, and websites about sex trafficking all inaccessible.

Retailers would be required to have a telephone line where consumers could call to report complaints and it prohibits retailers from giving consumers intel on how to deactivate the blocking program themselves.

Here is the real humdinger: If you are 18 years of age or older, request in writing that you would like to deactivate the program, acknowledge in writing that you understand the dangers (yes, that is really the word they use) of deactivating the program, and pay a $20 fee, you can have the program removed from your device.

Defunding NPR Likely Wouldn’t Go Into Effect for 2 Years

Defunding the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, an idea floated by the Trump administration, would likely take two years to go into effect.

The funding for CPB, which receives roughly $450 million a year for public television and public radio, is allotted two years in advance. Any appropriations bill that did not include new funding for the CPB would mean that it would not be defunded until fiscal year 2019.

President Donald Trump is expected to release his budget blueprint on Monday. Transition officials have signaled that the president plans dramatic cuts, including privatizing the CPB and eliminating both the National Endowment for the Arts and Humanities.

The move would cut funding to National Public Radio, widely considered liberal-leaning, which recently failed to disclose during an interview with Trump-bashing former CIA analyst Ned Price that he was a Hillary Clinton donor.

NPR claims federal funding is "essential," even though it also acknowledges that on average "less than 1 percent" of its annual operating budget comes from grants from the CPB.

Exact funding that NPR receives from the taxpayer is unclear.

Bald Eagles Keep Dying And No One's Talking About It

"They cannot even open their beaks."

When a bald eagle was brought to a wildlife rehabilitation center late last month, he was paralyzed and couldn't even hold his head up.

People had to carry the motionless bird. His head rested on his wing. Rescuers rushed to cleanse his blood of the poison that was slowly strangling the life out of him.

This happens to bald eagles all the time. And Lynn Tompkins, executive director of Blue Mountain Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center in Oregon, has been trying to save them for 30 years.

"His head was upside down when we got him," Tompkins told The Dodo. "Lead affects the nerves, so that's your brain, your use of muscles, all parts of the body. The birds often cannot stand … They usually have difficulty breathing. They cannot even open their beaks."

A Judge Just Rejected the ACLU's Demand For $231K From Kim Davis

Remember Kim Davis? She was the county clerk in a small town Kentucky town who refused to issue marriage licenses to gay couples back in 2015, citing her Christian beliefs.

Davis spent six days in a county jail for contempt of court after refusing to perform job duties that conflicted with her religious principles, a move that earned her a place in the national spotlight, a meeting with Pope Francis, and best friend status with former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee.

To respect the religious beliefs of clerks like Davis, Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin later signed an executive order amending the state’s marriage licenses to no longer include a clerk’s name. And while her deputy clerks still issued marriage licenses to gay couples, Davis was ultimately exempted from doing so, provided she didn’t interfere with their work.

But the fact that gay couples could now legally obtain licenses from others in the courthouse wasn’t enough for the ACLU, who represented four of the six gay couples who were denied a marriage license by Davis before her incarceration.

Factoids You Might Not Know About Preet Bharara

Also keep in mind, this was the prosecutor that jailed filmmaker, Dineesh D'Souza after he made his Obama's America during the 2012 election. This morning on Fox & Friends, the filmmaker came on and explained his case and how he ended up serving 8 months in federal prison after Bharara misrepresented precedent cases to make his case against him.

D'Souza stated the Obama Administration and Bharara also refused to give his file to Congress whom requested to review his case. Now that they have the file, the first and only damning thing in it about him was the fact that he is an avid Conservative.

The question now is not why Trump asked him to step down but what took him so long to terminate Bharara's tenure.

Rape Survivor Explains Why Guns Save Lives

She thought those was her last moments on earth, as he tried killing her soul by brutally assaulting her body. This assault, her 911 call and her decisions afterward changed the trajectory of her entire life.

Now, she believes “your greatest courage comes from your worst struggles.” She has vowed never to be vulnerable again as she has learned more about self-protection, including how to use a firearm.

With her help and courage, her rapist was caught and convicted in 2007. She has also become a role model and an inspiration to a multitude of other young people who are learning how to protect themselves.

What Does He Have to Hide?

Remember yesterday in Crowe's column he told you to look at the people who screamed for Julian Assange's head? Both sides of the aisle are worried because Wikileaks has a bunch more to reveal in the coming weeks, which will cause them all great duress.

A little background:

Ben Sasse was accused of taking hush money from Denny Hastert to keep his pedophile behavior towards Pages on the Hill. It is believed by many investigative reporters, Sasse was complicit and had full knowledge long before Hastert was arrested and prosecuted for his sexually deviant crimes.

Now, Sasse wants to hold Assange for what? Informing people their government has gone rogue? Seems awfully suspicious and begs everyone to wonder what will be revealed in the vault about him. Why would he be so vocal when others aren't making any public statements at all.

Dost the man protest too much? Keep your eyes and ears peeled as it's about to get very interesting to say the least.

Hannity to Trump: Purge Obama Holdover ‘Saboteurs’ Before It’s Too Late

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity urged the Trump administration to “purge” the holdovers from the prior Obama administration.

Hannity described them as saboteurs and warned they were”hell-bent” on destroying Trump’s presidency.

"Let’s go back to 1861. President Abraham Lincoln — he created, you know, a team of rivals, a so-called team of rivals, a cabinet of rivals, including adversaries that he ran against in the Republican primary. But while president Lincoln sought to unify his party through cabinet selections, he also executed an extensive government purge. He fired over 75 percent, nearly 1,200 people out of 1,500 bureaucrats that worked in the executive branch who President Lincoln feared could be disloyal.

"It’s time now for President Trump to follow Abraham Lincoln’s example and a fire anyone and everyone who is actively working against him in government. After all, even former president Bill Clinton — he utilized this tactic back in 1993. He fired all 93 U.S. attorneys — all of them...

"..Major leaks, like the ones you see right there on your screen, started just five days after President Trump was sworn into office.

"Now, the explosion of these leaks coincides with a New York Times report that says in his final weeks in office, President Obama revised executive order 12333 which allows the widespread sharing of this raw data collected by American intelligence agencies across 17 government agencies."

GOP Leadership Undermining the Trump Agenda — Setting Up 2018 Fight with House Freedom Caucus?

This week, Speaker Paul Ryan and House leadership introduced an Obamacare replacement bill. They said it was the culmination of months of discussion and input with members of the GOP caucus in the House. “We listened to our members,” they said, and this was the result.

It turns out that isn’t the case at all. The House Freedom Caucus and conservative groups like Heritage Foundation, Americans for Prosperity, Freedomworks and Club For Growth—among others—came out opposing the plan. And the furor began. What’s being revealed as this plays out is the real challenge it will be to “drain the swamp.” And as the fault lines between conservatives and leadership in the House widen, the Trump agenda is truly at risk.

Paul Ryan in his now famous “PowerPoint Press Conference” sent a message to the House Freedom Caucus and conservative groups. “They don’t understand the reconciliation process,” he said. He drew a line in the sand against to their efforts when he said, “The time is here. The time is now. This is the moment, and this is the closest this will ever happen. It really comes down to a binary choice.”

Statement of IAFF Local 4269

By Ryan Whittington

President

On Feb. 28, a majority of the members of Local 4269 voted to ratify a collective bargaining agreement with the Town of Ocean City. The agreement provides that the Town may transition fire/EMS personnel to a 10s and 14s shift alignment – two 10-hour day shifts, followed by two 14-hour night shifts, followed by four days off – as soon as Oct. 1, 2017.

The members of Local 4269 do not believe that this is a good course for fire department operations. However, the members of Local 4269 recognize that the dispute over this issue, which has persisted for more than a year, must be resolved.

The membership of Local 4269 has ratified the agreement on terms that do not do justice to the change insisted upon by the town, and after of a course of negotiating by the town that did not reflect fair compromise. But it is time to move on.

The transition to 10s and 14s moves the department in the wrong direction. The present shift alignment of one 24-hour shift followed by three days off is the shift alignment used by the majority of professional fire departments in Maryland and beyond. It provides for operational continuity.

Chamber leader: College towns poised for growth

[Editor's note: This article shows 'academic theory' that may not relate well to reality in towns like Salisbury and Princess Anne. Look at what it says though, then think about 'Downtown Revitalization', parking lot giveaways, and student housing possibilities.]

I want to start off by asking what do the following cities have in common: Manhattan, Kansas; Stillwater, Okla.; Ann Arbor, Mich.; Gainesville, Fla.; and Charlottesville, Va.? Each of these recently were recognized among a list of the top 50 U.S. cities to live, work and play.

You also might have observed that each of these cities has a major university presence located in their town. This is a common theme and trend when we try and understand where the greatest growth in population is going to occur in the next 10 years.

When I attended a conference on quality of life initiatives that cities are implementing, a national site selector spoke and mentioned that towns with a college presence will see the greatest growth, especially those whose colleges are doing research and development and then launching that research into new start-up businesses or entrepreneurial ventures. The site selector went to emphasize that the cities with the largest proportional growth over the next 10 years will be those that have, and highlight, a university/college presence.

Universities all across America have figured out they are a major factor in economic development. They also know they will drive many of those key and instrumental quality of life factors that will drive growth in students, professors and talent recruitment to an area. Major institutions of higher learning also have realized it is vital to work alongside the local towns and municipalities to achieve a thriving, energetic, vibrant and robust economic structure.

Universities and colleges are perhaps one of the most critical components to a region that has a bustling downtown filled with restaurants, shops, brew pubs, cool retail, bike lanes, jogging paths and a pedestrian friendly environment. In other words, basically, the playground of today’s young professional and millennial generation.

GOP-sponsored bill may help companies obtain your genetic information

House Democrats and a number of privacy advocacy groups came out against a House GOP-sponsored bill that would reportedly make it easier for employers to gain access to genetic information about their employees and their families.

The New York Times reported Friday that the bill-- called the Preserving Employee Wellness Programs Act-- may also significantly increase the costs if someone chooses not to participate in a company wellness program that requires the genetic information.

Fortune magazine summed up the bill: it “would essentially allow companies with workplace wellness programs to demand your genetic information (or force you to pay a big penalty.)”

The bill was introduced by Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-N.C., the chairwoman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce. The bill reportedly passed its first test in a committee vote that went straight down party line. The bill is still under review by other House committees.

ACLU launches nationwide training on protest, resistance

The American Civil Liberties Union staged a nationwide training event Saturday to make sure people are aware of their rights as protesters and urge organized, public resistance by those opposed to policies of President Donald Trump.

Organizers said the event at a sports arena on the University of Miami campus was live-streamed to locations in all 50 states. ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero said 200,000 people had signed up to attend one of an estimated 2,000 local events.

The ACLU also launched a new grassroots online organizing platform called PeoplePower.org. It's billed as a way for people considering a local protest or rally to connect and coordinate with others around the country with similar intentions, and to provide details of ACLU initiatives.

Churchgoers Walk Out of Service Attended by Jesse Jackson When Speaker Discusses Voter IDs

Church attendees at the historic Brown Chapel in Selma, Alabama walked out in protest on Sunday after Alabama's secretary of state, John Merrill, discussed how the state is making sure there are more opportunities for Alabama residents to obtain photo identification so they can register to vote and participate in the electoral process.

The service, which was attended by the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rep. Terri Sewell (D., Ala.), Merrill, and North Carolina NAACP President Dr. William Barber, reflected on the history of African Americans fighting for voting rights and the role that Brown Chapel played in the 1960s before the adoption of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Each of the aforementioned names spoke at the service, but Merrill, a Republican, received backlash after he told the audience that the state is in the process of creating more opportunities for people in Alabama to obtain photo identification to vote, WSFA 12 News reported.

"We want to make sure that every eligible U.S. citizen that is a resident of Alabama is registered to vote and has a photo ID so they can participate in the electoral process at they level that they want to participate," Merrill said.

Bill to strip Md. governor of parole approvals advances

WASHINGTON — In Maryland, the governor gets the last say on whether or not someone sentenced to life in prison is granted parole. Now, some state lawmakers hope a bill, which has passed through the House, will eventually leave parole-making decisions solely to a state’s parole commission.

Currently in the state, once a parole board makes the decision that someone with a life sentence is eligible for parole, the governor has 180 days to deny the board’s decision. HB-723 would take the governor out of the equation.

Friday’s 79-55 vote for the bill authored by Del. Pamela Queen, a Democrat from Montgomery County, has advanced it to the Senate.

Supporters of legislation say it removes any chance that politics play a role in a decision on whether or not an inmate should be released.

Democrats Flip Zero Seats in Four Blue State Special Elections

Democrats have failed since Election Day in November to take any Republican-controlled seats in four special elections in blue states, despite hefty investment from the Democratic Party.

Since President Trump's election, there have been several state-level special elections across the country. The Republican State Leadership Committee, or RSLC, published a memo this week showing Republicans have won every district they previously held across multiple states that Democrats have won in the last three or more presidential elections.

Republicans kept their seats despite "hefty financial investments and high profile Democrats lending star power to state-level candidates," RSLC noted.

There were four elections that Democrats hoped to win to show their resistance to Trump could be translated into electoral victories. The elections were in Virginia, Minnesota, and, most recently, Connecticut–all states Hillary Clinton won in the 2016 presidential election.

Two Years Later, IRS Locates 6,924 Documents Related to Tea Party Targeting

Agency will not commit to a timeframe to make the documents public

The Internal Revenue Service has located6,924 documents potentially related to the targeting of Tea Party conservatives, two years after the group Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit for them.

The watchdog group intended to find records regarding how the IRS selected individuals and organizations for audits that were requesting nonprofit tax status.

The agency will not say when it will make the documents available to the public.

"At this time, the Service is unable to provide an estimate regarding when it will complete its review of the potentially responsive documents," the agency said. "The Service will begin producing any non-exempt, responsive documents by March 10, 2017, and, if necessary, continue to produce non-responsive records on a bi-weekly basis."

DESPICABLE: Look what universities are now teaching about 9-11

Unfortunately, some of the insanity being taught on college campuses across the nation isn’t as laughable as the attempt to eliminate “gender specific pronouns” from campus we wrote about here, or the comical six-week, one-credit sociology course titled “White Privilege Seminar” at Notre Dame.

Some of it appears to be devious, insidious, just plain wrong…and just plain brainwashing.

Case in point – you moms and dads (and taxpayers whose money is used for student grants) are paying for a freshman English class taught at several major universities across the country called “The Literature of 9/11.”

Troopers Reassigned For Storm Duty

(PIKESVILLE, MD) — State troopers not normally assigned to road patrol are being reassigned today to storm duty as the Maryland State Police joins other state agencies in preparation for the pending storm.

Troopers from the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, Automotive Safety Enforcement Division and Special Operations Division are being assigned to State Police barracks across Maryland to add to the usual road patrol force beginning tonight and lasting through the duration of the storm. Additional troopers from the Aviation Command will be reassigned to patrol duties as well. Troopers from the Criminal Investigation Bureau will be on standby to be reassigned to patrol, but are not expected to be needed at this time.

Maryland State Police personnel will also be assigned to staff posts at the Maryland Emergency Management Agency and the MDOT State Highway Administration State Operations Center. The Maryland State Police will be working closely with these and other state agencies to provide a coordinated and effective response to storm related issues.

FLASHBACK: When Bill Clinton Had 93 U.S. Attorneys FIRED IN ONE DAY

Attorney General Jeff Sessions requested the resignations of Obama holdovers in the Department of Justice.

Predictably, the Dishonest Media went crazy.

Liberals said there’s something bad behind this. They said Trump must be wanting to stop corruption investigations. They said this is an affront to everything everyone holds dear.

Here’s one example about Preet Bharara from CNN:

FACT CHECK: Cory Booker Is Neither a ‘Truth-Teller’ Nor a ‘Determined Purveyor of The Truth’

New Jersey senator tells SXSW that he is on front-lines in fight with fake news

New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker (D.) described himself in a Friday interview at South By Southwest as a "determined purveyor of the truth," but a Washington Free Beacon analysis finds that Booker has a long history of getting caught straying from reality.

Booker, who was introduced by his interviewer as "the incredible Cory Booker,"gave a speech to the crowd at the annual Austin tech conference, which will also hear from former Vice President Joe Biden over the weekend. His comment about being a "truth-teller," however, came during an interview for Facebook Live, which can be viewed below.

"Who are we supposed to trust? And where do you see your place in all that?" Booker is asked by his SXSW interviewer a bit more than nine minutes into the interview.

"If you really think this world needs more truth, then be a more determined purveyor of the truth," Booker said. "I see my role as a truth-teller, and we all should be truth tellers in an era of fake news."

It is unclear what gave Booker this view of himself as a "truth-teller." Representatives for his Senate office did not respond to a request for comment.

Booker's history of mistruths, however, is well-documented.

Chutzpah. The NYT Calls It ‘Slowest Transition in Decades’

WASHINGTON — At the State Department, the normally pulsating hub of executive offices is hushed and virtually empty. At the Pentagon, military missions in some of the world’s most troubled places are being run by a defense secretary who has none of his top team in place. And at departments like Treasury, Commerce and Health and Human Services, many senior posts remain vacant even as the agencies have been handed enormous tasks like remaking the nation’s health insurance system.

From the moment he was sworn in, President Trump faced a personnel crisis, starting virtually from scratch in lining up senior leaders for his administration. Seven weeks into the job, he is still hobbled by the slow start, months behind where experts in both parties, even some inside his administration, say he should be.

The lag has left critical power centers in his government devoid of leadership as he struggles to advance policy priorities on issues like health care, taxes, trade and environmental regulation. Many federal agencies and offices are in states of suspended animation, their career civil servants answering to temporary bosses whose influence and staying power are unclear, and who are sometimes awaiting policy direction from appointees whose arrival may be weeks or months away.

“There’s no question this is the slowest transition in decades,” said R. Nicholas Burns, a former State Department official who served under presidents of both parties and has been involved in transitions since 1988. “It is a very, very big mistake. The world continues — it doesn’t respect transitions.”

Charity Helping Illegals Took $18 Million Since Election

A religious-based charity has received nearly $18 million in federal grants to help refugees and immigrant children who entered the country illegally since Donald Trump was elected president, The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group has learned.

The Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) has received nine federally-funded awards since Nov. 8, all of which came from the the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), USAspending.gov data shows.

Seven of those – worth over $13 million – were awarded under the Unaccompanied Alien Children Program, and the remaining two – worth $4.5 million – were used to helped refugees.

Meanwhile, LIRS received $25 million in federal funds in the four months following former President Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection, data shows. Both HHS and the State Department awarded those grants.

Women Kicked Out of Women’s Shelter to Make Room for a ‘Transgender’ Man

Two women were kicked out of a homeless shelter to make room for a man because he said he is a transgender woman, according to a Canadian news report.

The women objected when they were told they would have to share a bedroom and live in the shelter with the man, and so “both were asked to leave the shelter for good,” said the TV reporter.

“I was uncomfortable with my roommate being transgender,” said one of the women, Tracey, in a TV reporter from Canada’s Global News network. “He wants to become a woman, I mean that is his choice but when a man comes into a women’s shelter who still has a penis and genitals, he has more rights than we do,” Tracey said.
