Tech Scammer Gets Scammed

I call up a tech support scam and talk to someone who is new to their job. I end up bricking their computer by convincing them to set a Syskey, BIOS, and hard drive password.

Editor's note:  This scammer thought he was going to steal the information from someone's computer.  What happens is he gets his computer locked by someone that actually knows about computers. Towards the end the scammer becomes irate. Language warning!

Matt Lauer Slammed By Mainstream Press After Vet Tells Hillary "I Would Have Been Imprisoned" If I Did What You Did

During last night's "Commander in Chief" forum in which both presidential candidates laid out their views about the future of the US military, as well as the country's defense and security, with both committing numerous gaffes, none appears to have gotten as much criticism as event moderator Matt Lauer. As the NYT reports this morning, "charged with overseeing a live prime-time forum with Donald J. Trump and Hillary Clinton, as a dry run of sorts for the coming presidential debates, Lauer found himself besieged on Wednesday evening by critics of all political stripes, who accused the anchor of unfairness, sloppiness and even sexism in his handling of the event."

The reason for the anger, originating mostly on the left, is that having been granted 30 minutes with each candidate, Lauer devoted about a third of his time with Mrs. Clinton to questions about her use of a private email server, then seemed to rush through subsequent queries about weighty topics like domestic terror attacks.

The highlight of the event, and what set the stage from the beginning, was a question from Navy veteran Lt. John Lester who set the adversarial mood with a question about Hilllary reckless handling of classified material.

As a Naval flight officer I held the top secret sensitive compartmentalized information clearance. And that provided me access with materials and information highly sensitive to our war fighting capabilities. Had I communicated this information not following the prescribed protocols I would have been prosecuted and imprisoned. Secretary Clinton, how can you expect those such as myself who are and were trusted with America’s most sensitive information to have any confidence in your leadership as president when you clearly corrupted our national security.

It all happened around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday at the Italian Pizza Kitchen.

Judge Napolitano: Yes, Hillary has escaped an FBI indictment but her campaign may be doomed

On Sept. 2, the FBI released a lengthy explanation of its investigation of Hillary Clinton and a summary of the evidence amassed against her. It also released a summary of Clinton's July FBI interrogation.

The interrogation was in some respects standard and in others very troubling. It was standard in that she was confronted with emails she had sent or received and was asked whether she recalled them, and her judgment about them was challenged. The FBI was looking for gross negligence in her behavior about securing state secrets.

The failure to secure state secrets that have been entrusted to one for safekeeping is known as espionage, and espionage is the rare federal crime that does not require prosecutors to prove the defendant's intent. They need only prove the defendant's gross negligence.

At one point during the interrogation, FBI agents attempted to trick her, as the law permits them to do. Before the interrogation began, agents took the hard copy of an innocuous email Clinton had sent to an aide and marked it "secret." Then, at her interrogation, they asked Clinton whether she recognized the email and its contents. She said she did not recognize it, but she questioned the "secret" denomination and pointed out to the agents that nothing remotely secret was in the email.

Hillary's Health: Corrupt Media Loses Narrative Monopoly

First some history…

While our mainstream media has always been corrupt, things changed dramatically for the worse after President George W. Bush won re-election in 2004. You see, that wasn't supposed to happen. The reason it did, though, was because the media lost of control of the Narrative. Simply put, other than John Kerry being a hugely unlikable individual, the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth (SBVT) effectively undermined the strength that was supposed to knock "that idiot" off his throne.

If you recall, the SBVT were a group of veterans, many of whom had served with Kerry in Vietnam, who got together, formed a 527 organization and launched a series of devastating ads criticizing Kerry for the heinous lies he told about Vietnam Veterans. On top of that, they questioned his heroic war record.

Local dunes not ready for fencing, city says

Summer tourists noticing a lack of fencing to protect beach dunes from being trampled might wonder if Ocean City stopped worrying about this first line of defense during storms.

City Engineer Terry McGean has a simple explanation: the dunes aren’t ready to be protected.

“After winter storm Jonas, a lot of the dunes got heavily damaged and the beach got damaged,” he said. “Normally, the dune would have a rope fence along the east edge of it that got destroyed during the storm.”

Although Ocean City was able to repair the dunes following the winter storm, two issues prevented the rope fence from being installed just yet, McGean said.

“One, it took us through the end of May to repair the dune and obviously you can’t fence a dune that’s not there,” he said. “Two, when we do beach replenishment, we will likely have to remove a lot of that fence we just put up to do beach replenishment.”

WARNING: Immigrants Scamming Americans To Stay In U.S.

Immigrants are learning the tricks of the trade in how to obtain a green card and eventual citizenship in the U.S., by preying on unsuspecting and naïve American citizens.

One such plot is foreign immigrants who manage to make themselves eligible to apply for a U-Visa, which is set aside for victims of crimes – and their family members – who have suffered substantial mental or physical abuse and are willing to assist law enforcement in the investigation of criminal activity.

Claiming to be a victim of harassment, stalking or domestic violence to obtain a U-Visa is becoming a common occurrence – at a rate of over 50,000 per year for the past two years.

Fox News reports that Renee Sun’s 21-year-old son was tricked into a relationship with a foreign student from Mongolia where they both attended University of Colorado-Boulder. She asked him out on a date, went to yoga classes with him and asked questions about his religion, according to the boy’s mother.

Martin Armstrong Explains Why "2017 Is The Threshold To Chaos"

I have been warning that 2017 was the Year of Political Hell with four major referendums/elections that would undermine the confidence in government – BREXIT, US Presidential Elections, French Elections, and Germany Elections. These four events hold the potential to overturn the expectations of the future. Whatever the general public felt about government would flip. The key to a shift from Public confidence to Private lies within the scope of these four elections. This is what our computer has been forecasting – political instability on the rise. This is the age of anti-establishment (3rd party) rising globally.

However, I have also warned that Social Security and Medicare go NEGATIVE next year in the United States, which of course mainstream media is not bothering to report for fear that would add fuel to the bonfire of political corruption. But what is also not explained by mainstream media, is that Obamacare is crumbling from within. The entire structural design of Obamacare was the perpetual Ponzi Scheme they used for Social Security.

The theory behind Obamacare was to force the youth to buy health insurance and since they rarely need it as a group, they would be paying-in more than they received. Thus, the idea would be Obamacare would exploit the youth to pay for those who could not afford healthcare because of preconditions. The theory failed because the youth did not buy the insurance.

Campaign Mascot Named Through Online Contest

OCEAN CITY – Ocean City’s Walk Smart Lifeguard Crab now has a name: Cheswick.

After narrowing submissions to four choices earlier this summer, social media participants of the Maryland State Highway Administration’s crab naming competition selected Cheswick, gathering 4,028 of more than 5,500 votes.

The name was revealed to an audience at Fish Tales on Sept. 1.

In 2012, Matthew Jude Cheswick was attempting to cross Coastal Highway when Diogo Miller Facchini, 30, of Lorton, Va., struck him and drove away. Facchini was intoxicated and was larger charged in the incident.

Since then, Cheswick’s parents have championed the Walk Smart campaign.

Cheswick’s mother, Cecelia Roe, says she was pleased that the public was aware of what happened, and were supportive of this cause.

Buzz about a 'bud': Clinton camp denies claims she wore earpiece at forum

While Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump each generated headlines about comments made Wednesday night at a candidates’ forum, the buzz Thursday morning was more about a report claiming Clinton relied on a “micro” earbud as she fielded questions about national security — a claim her campaign vigorously denied.

The website True Pundit quoted unnamed New York police sources saying Clinton was wearing an “inductive earpiece” during the NBC forum hosted by Matt Lauer. The website described the unit as the kind of tech used by stage actors in need of prompting to recite forgotten lines.

Two senior campaign aides, though, told Fox News the report is absolutely not true.

Council Reluctantly Approves OC BikeFest Funding; Event Sought $25K, Received $10K

OCEAN CITY — Ocean City officials this week somewhat reluctantly approved a $10,000 supplementary allocation to OC BikeFest 2016 organizers, although the grant fell short of the $25,000 requested by the Tourism Advisory Board (TAB).

Each year, the Mayor and Council include in the budget an allocation to TAB allowing the advisory board to seek out and help fund various special events, many of which bolster the shoulder seasons in the resort. This year, as in years past, $300,000 was allocated in the budget for TAB to utilize to attract and retain special events, but the $300,000 in this year’s budget has already been earmarked for other events.

As a result, TAB Vice Chairman John Gehrig came before the Mayor and Council on Tuesday seeking a special $25,000 supplemental allocation for OC BikeFest organizers to help offset the cost of procuring entertainment for the 2016 event, which officially gets underway next Thursday. After considerable and often chippy debate, the Mayor and Council voted on a compromise measure to allocate $10,000 to OC BikeFest this year.

Michael Goodwin: The Hillary Clinton Protection Racket at the Washington Post is alive and well

In singling out the New York Times for its biased political coverage, I have slighted the Hillary Clinton Protection Racket at the Washington Post. I hereby atone.

Clinton hacked and hacked so much into the microphone Monday as she tried to give a Labor Day speech in Cleveland that her coughing was the news.

But not at the Washington Post, which ran to rescue its candidate. Its lead political blogger, Chris Cillizza, wrote a scathing piece to debunk the idea that Clinton is hiding a serious health issue.

“This is a totally ridiculous issue — for lots of reasons,” Cillizza declared. “The simple fact is that there is zero evidence that anything is seriously wrong with Clinton.”

He went on to offer Donald Trump unsolicited, and almost certainly insincere, advice, saying the issue “is a surefire loser in the fall.”

Officer Uses Taser To Prevent Attack

OCEAN CITY — An Ocean View man had to be tased last weekend after first attempting to punch a bartender at a downtown bar and later attempting to attack an Ocean City Police officer with a belt and belt buckle fashioned as a weapon in the street.

Around 11:40 p.m. last Saturday, an Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) officer on foot patrol in the downtown area observed a man later identified as Jacob Harden, 45, of Ocean View, Del., standing in the middle of Dorchester Street yelling expletives including alleged threats directed at police officers. According to police reports, Harden also had a leather belt wrapped around his right hand with about six inches of the leather portion and a metal belt buckle dangling and fashioned as a weapon.

As the officer approached, Harden allegedly told police “let’s go,” and took a fighting stance with the belt still fashioned as a weapon in his right hand and his left hand clenched in a fist. According to police reports, Harden said “[expletive deleted] cops,” and “I will [expletive deleted] you up.”

At that point, Harden allegedly approached one of the OCPD officers holding the belt raised as if he was going to strike the officer. Harden then lunged at the officer, who was able to avoid a strike by the belt and position himself behind Harden. The officer was able to tackle Harden to the ground, but the suspect continued to scrap with police and resist arrest.

GOP lawmaker: People 'would be absolutely appalled' by remaining FBI docs

Rep. Steve Russell, R-Okla., said Thursday that the undisclosed records recovered and produced by the FBI during its year-long investigation of Hillary Clinton's private server are much more shocking than the summary report released last week.

"If what I've read in the vaults about Secretary Clinton's mishandling of classified information were known to the American people, as I've been to the vaults to peruse them, the American public would be absolutely appalled," Russell said during a House Oversight Committee hearing on the State Department's treatment of records requests.

"But we can't talk about that," he said, noting many details surrounding Clinton's email server remain highly classified.

"Instead of focusing on this mishandling and its subsequent obfuscation ... we are now seeing a typical play: admit nothing, deny everything and make counteraccusation," Russell added.

OC’s New Trailer Parking Rules In Effect For First Bike Week

OCEAN CITY — OC BikeFest arrives in the resort next week with the fall Cruisin’ event soon to follow, but much has changed in terms of the parking rules for trailers and oversized vehicles since the same events last fall.

As part of the ongoing effort to rein in some of the behavior associated with the vehicle-related special events in the resort, the Mayor and Council last fall began exploring changes to the town’s ordinance regarding trailer and oversized vehicle parking on city streets. The changes were debated at various levels throughout the offseason with the Mayor and Council approving a final version in March.

The ordinance changes were borne after a particularly troublesome spring Cruisin’ event last year when residents complained of trailers and other oversized vehicles parked along main thoroughfares and side streets, taking up vast areas of street parking in some cases and causing traffic obstructions in others.

Boiled down to its simplest terms, the new ordinance allows only registered participants in the special events, including OC BikeFest next week, to park trailers on public streets from May 1 to Oct. 31 after purchasing a permit from the event organizer and affixing the associated sticker to their trailers. The permits cost $50 and apply only to the event prior to or during which they are purchased.

Clinton email had 'multiple' classified markings, challenging her claim to FBI

New details about the emails on Hillary Clinton's personal server that contained classified markings call into question her claim to the FBI that she didn't know what the markings meant -- and even believed they represented an alphabetical listing of paragraphs.

A government source told Fox News that virtually every paragraph in one mail contained so-called portion markings used exclusively for classification purposes. These classified codes are found on the left-hand side and reflect the classification of the intelligence contained in each paragraph.

The Clinton email has one paragraph marked "C" for "confidential," which is the lowest level of classification. And the source said "multiple paragraphs (on the same email) are marked, SBU," which means "sensitive but unclassified."

Both codes are there so the reader knows what is classified intelligence.

The man, identified as James Acord, told the officer that he was taking passenger Rhonda Pasek to the hospital.

The driver tried to shift the car into another drive while the police officer was questioning him. One of the officers then reached in and turned off the vehicle and took the keys.

The man then passed out.

Because of the live demonstrations and the various vendors on hand for the fall season, Cute says she almost named the market “Artisan’s Co-op.”

Spearheading the market is Ashley Harrison of Terrapin Farms and a market vendor for Urban Nectar.

Clintons are ‘two very sick, untreated, addicted people’

Bill's longtime pal warns of Hillary's relentless drive for power

Over the years, Bill Clinton has had plenty of “other women” in addition to his wife.

However, one of those women, Dolly Kyle, knew the future president long before Hillary did. Therefore, she argues Hillary is actually the “other woman,” and why she titled her recent tell-all memoir “Hillary the Other Woman.”

“We need to get the word out that Hillary is an ‘other’ woman, and it’s a play on words because when I met her 15 years into knowing Billy, she was, if you will, ‘the other woman,'” Kyle told Alex Jones during an appearance on “The Alex Jones Show.”

“And then the flip side of that is, and why we have her facing away from the camera on the cover of the book, she is not the woman she would like you to think she is. She is an ‘other’ woman.”

Hillary Clinton's speech mandatory viewing at prison, Donald Trump's blacked out, inmates say

Felons ask to join Obama deportation amnesty case, be set free

Federal convicts told a judge they were forced to watch Hillary Clinton’s convention speech at the federal prison where they’re being held — but said the prison imposed a blackout on Donald Trump’s speech, tuning the facility’s televisions to other channels.

The felons are trying to join the federal case against President Obama’s 2014 deportation amnesty, saying that Mr. Obama is discriminating against U.S. citizens caught breaking the law by punishing them, even as he attempts to grant work permits and taxpayer-funded benefits to illegal immigrants.

In filings in a federal court in Texas, the four female convicts — one of whom, in a bizarre twist, is serving time for smuggling illegal immigrants — said they need to be set free to fight their case. They said prison officials and other inmates are targeting them for their political beliefs, and particularly their support for Mr. Trump, the GOP presidential nominee.

“On the night of Hillary Clinton’s acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention, special accommodations were made, where every television in the housing units were placed on the channel where her speech was televised,” the convicts said. But they said they were not allowed “a television to watch Mr. Donald Trump give his acceptance speech.”

Day said he and volunteers were brainstorming for potential new events last year when Barry Laws from the Pocomoke River Canoe Company pointed out that the town had a park that shared the same name as the town in South Dakota famous for its annual motorcycle rally.

“I took off with it,” Day said.

RIGHT ANGLE: HOLDING THE SENATE

10 things we’ve learned about Hillary from her emails

Joe Biden: 'I think she is going to figure out what she is going to say'

Apparently even Vice President Joe Biden thinks Hillary Clinton hasn’t been forthcoming about her role in the scandal-ridden Clinton Foundation, which has many connections to the investigation of the unsecured, private email server she used while secretary of state.

It’s the emails that have formed the basis for many allegations of “pay for play,” the apparent access to the State Department that was granted many major donors to the foundation.

In an interview with CNN Tuesday, Biden was asked if Clinton had adequately explained her Clinton Foundation ties. Try as he might, in the end, he confessed that a “crystal clear” explanation is yet to come, after she’s figured out what she is going to say.

“Well, I think she’s – my understanding is she is going to make a final judgment about what they’re going to do with the foundation and just lay it all out and this is what’s going to happen from this point on, this is who I am, this is what we’re going to do and they’re going to be good,” Biden said.

“It’s been a moving target. I mean, you look, the whole notion of how foundations function is now all of a sudden being put in play like it never was before,” Biden said. “So, I am absolutely confident she is doing it by the book and I think she is going to figure out what she is going to say crystal clear to the American people about what the relationship between the family and the foundation will be from this point forward.”

Trump is right about the ‘false economy’

Bull’s-eye! That’s my reaction to Donald Trump’s charge — made to reporters on Labor Day — that the economic recovery Hillary Clinton and President Obama have been boasting about is a “false economy.”

The Donald did this when he welcomed reporters onto his campaign jetliner. He accused the Federal Reserve of, as Reuters put it, “keeping interest rates low to help President Barack Obama.”

“They’re keeping the rates down so that everything else doesn’t go down.” By “everything else,” he was referring to the stock market, the Obama housing bubble and even the employment rate. “We have a very false economy,” he said.

Leaked Emails Show Tension Between General, White House

DC Leaks, the same group that leaked files from George Soros groups, released emails in July from Air Force General Philip Breedlove’s Gmail account while he was serving as Supreme Allied Commander of NATO European Forces.

In multiple emails, General Breedlove speaks negatively about the way Obama views the NATO force in Europe.

This attitude is quite clear in an email exchange between Breedlove and Harlan Ullman, senior adviser to the Atlantic Council. In the exchange, Ullman is trying to set up a conversation between Breedlove and Colin Powell, and wants to know Breedlove’s topics for discussion.

Iran may have received up to $33.6B in cash, gold payments from US

Iran may have received an additional $33.6 billion in secret cash and gold payments facilitated by the Obama administration between 2014 and 2016, according to testimony provided before Congress by an expert on last summer’s nuclear agreement with Iran.

Between January 2014 and July 2015, when the Obama administration was hammering out the final details of the nuclear accord, Iran was paid $700 million every month from funds that had previously been frozen by U.S. sanctions.

A total of $11.9 billion was ultimately paid to Iran, but the details surrounding these payments remain shrouded in mystery, according to Mark Dubowitz, executive director at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

In total, “Iran may have received as much as $33.6 billion in cash or in gold and other precious metals,” Dubowitz disclosed.

Storm predictions scare away potential big weekend crowd

The offshore meanderings of Tropical Storm Hermine and the dire weather forecasts attached to it didn’t quite ruin the Labor Day weekend for Ocean City businesses, but they certainly dampened the tourist turnout.

“It was definitely a mixed bag,” Susan Jones, executive director for the Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association, said. “We were not sold out and there were plenty of cancellations.”

Some members of the lodging industry gave customers rain checks to return in the future and others refused to give a refund since Ocean City was not being evacuated. Jones said a number of people cancelled their stays well before there were penalties.

“Restaurants saw a decline in business especially outdoor eateries,” Jones said. “Generally speaking, most restaurants did not have the amount of business they are used to having thanks to the storm.”

Greg Shockley, owner of Shenanigans Pub and Shoreham Hotel on the Boardwalk, had a decent weekend despite the storm.

A Letter To The Editor: A reply I gave my Daughter after her email about GJ's good side

To all the folks who are considering third party voting in November,

So, for the sake of not going point/ counterpoint, I voted for Gary Johnson in the last election for a good reason. The reason was that I knew that between Mittens Romney and BO, one of the two was going to be elected, and with both having the same platform/ agenda, it really didn’t matter which one got elected, so I voted Independent/ Libertarian to bring awareness to others that there was more than two candidates to vote for in any given election.

With that said, this time around is very different. This time, we are faced with voting in a fully guilty criminal who has breached national security to the point of losing an embassy and getting people killed and has been in a criminal career for 30 years selling off our Nation’s secrets and resources through the Clinton Foundation and not giving two sh!ts about any of it. She owns the FBI and the DOJ, who both found her guilty but are deathly afraid to charge her criminally in fear for their lives.

If your vote goes to Gary Johnson or another third party candidate to uphold his positive values, Donald Trump loses to Hillary, and so do we all. Your move to another state might be better rerouted to Mexico or Canada because we will have lost the USA and it’s Constitution.

That’s why.

“I was hoping he would be caught,” she said. “I am thankful to all of you — especially [The Post]. You were the first ones to report this and without you they would not have found him.”

4 Steps That Could Help Keep Hackers From Hijacking The Election

It’s a provocative question that reads like the cover blurb for a paperback spy novel, but it’s drawing serious attention in these days of cyber crime.

Could hackers disrupt the U.S. presidential election and, if they did, what would be the implications for our democracy?

“Theoretically, there are several things a hacker could do to interfere with the election,” says Gary S. Miliefsky, CEO of SnoopWall (www.snoopwall.com), a company that specializes in cybersecurity.

“They could delete names from a voter list so that when people showed up to vote there’s no record of them being registered. They could change the actual voting machine results, putting the wrong person in office. Or they might just hack in so that they can steal people’s personal information and commit identity theft.”

Already concerns arose after the Democratic National Committee was hacked this summer, reportedly by Russians. More recently there were reports of hacks of the voting registration systems in Arizona and Illinois.

The FBI says Russians also were behind the Arizona hack, which involved malware being found on a county election official’s computer. In Illinois, hackers downloaded information on as many as 200,000 voters.

Miliefsky says the federal government could and should take several steps if it’s truly concerned that the Russian government, criminal Russian cartels or anyone else might try to hijack the election. Those steps include:

• Issue an ultimatum. Government officials should issue a public statement to Russia letting it know it will face cyber-war consequences if either the Russian government or Russian criminals try to interfere with the U.S. voting system.
• Go on high alert. The National Security Agency should monitor, in a state of high alert, the election networks to see if cyber attacks are happening and find out who is perpetrating the crime.
• Enlist cybersecurity help. The U.S. government could request the assistance of cybersecurity experts to help elections officials ensure their networks and voting machines are patched and secure.
•Partner with cybersecurity companies. U.S.-based cybersecurity companies could be offered grants to deploy advanced tools on election networks to shore up their defense.

“It’s time for us to get vigilant and pro-active,” Miliefsky says. “No nation-state hackers or cybercriminals should be able to undermine the basis of our democracy by cyber-election fraud.
“Of course, going back to old-fashioned ‘paper-based voting’ wouldn’t hurt this election cycle, either.”

The "Oh Shit" Guy That Wiped Hillary's Server With BleachBit Was Just Granted Immunity

Last week, after the FBI dropped their Friday before Labor Day weekend bomb on Hillary, we wrote about the various events leading up to the deletion of Hillary's emails (full details here: "The "Oh Shit" Moment: Hillary Wiped Her Server With BleachBit Despite Subpoena"). At the end of that post we concluded that the "Undisclosed PRN Staff Member" managing Hillary's servers on behalf of Platte River Networks had seemingly thrown himself under the bus by admitting to the FBI that he "was aware of the existence of the preservation request and the fact that it meant he should not disturb Clinton's e-mail data on the PRN server" but then went ahead and deleted the emails anyway.

According to new info from the New York Times, that "Undisclosed PRN Staff Member" is Paul Combetta and apparently hisbrazen honesty during FBI interviews came only after receiving an immunity deal from the Justice Department.

For those who "do not recall" the specific timeline leading up to Combetta wiping Hillary's server, here is a breif recap:

December 2014 / January 2015 – “Undisclosed Clinton staff member” instructs Combetta to remove archives of Clinton emails from PRN server but he forgets.

March 4, 2015 – Hillary receives subpoena from House Select Committee on Benghazi instructing her to preserve and deliver all emails from her personal servers.

March 25, 2015 – Combetta has a conference call with “President Clinton’s Staff.”

March 25 – 31, 2015 – Combetta has “oh shit” moment and realizes he forgot to wipe Hillary’s email archive from the PRN server back in December…which he promptly does using BleachBit.

February 18, 2016 - Combetta meets with FBI and denies knowing about the existense of the subpoena from the House Select Committee on Benghazi at the time he wiped Hillary's server.

May 3, 2016 - Combetta has follow-up meeting with the FBI and admits that he "was aware of the existence of the preservation request and the fact that it meant he should not disturb Clinton's e-mail data on the PRN server."

And here are the details from the FBI Notes:

Mitrecic Maintains Performer Violated His Rights On Boardwalk

OCEAN CITY — As Ocean City continues to tip-toe the line between street performer regulations and First Amendment rights, a line clearly defined by the courts on at least two occasions, an impassioned plea for the rights of others trying to enjoy the Boardwalk came from an unlikely source this week.

During the public comment period at Tuesday’s meeting, Worcester County Commissioner and former Ocean City Councilman Joe Mitrecic implored the current Mayor and Council to continue to find a way to rein in some of the busker activity on the Boardwalk after a personal experience last weekend. Mitrecic, who made it clear he was speaking as a citizen and not as the Worcester County Commissioner who represents Ocean City in Snow Hill, said he went to the Boardwalk on a recent Sunday to enjoy the Sandfest sculptures and came away with increased disdain for at least some of the street performers.

Mitrecic said he and his wife walked along and looked at the sand sculptures during the daylight hours, then went to have dinner at a Boardwalk restaurant with a plan to return afterwards to view the sculptures illuminated at night. However, Mitrecic said the couple’s dining experience was marred by the loud music he characterized as noise from an electric violin plugged into an amplifier nearby.

“Up until the time we sat down to eat, it was a great night,” he said. “I’ve sat where you all sit and I know what you’re up against it, but something has to be done with the street performers.”

Bill Clinton Could Serve Unconstitutional Third Term If Hillary Sick in Office

Several former first ladies acted as de facto presidents

Former President Bill Clinton could practically serve an unconstitutional third term as president if Hillary Clinton becomes sick in office if elected, given the previous first ladies who acted as presidents on behalf of their sick husbands.

Former First Ladies Nancy Reagan, Mamie Eisenhower and Lady Edith Galt Wilson all made presidential decisions while their husbands were ill in office.

Galt Wilson in particular acted as the de facto president when President Woodrow Wilson suffered a stroke in 1919 to prevent Vice President Thomas Marshall from assuming the presidency because Marshall was too friendly to Wilson’s political rival in Congress.

Hillary Clinton's Illness Revealed

Entire Media Freaks Out After Trump Over-Performance In Forum

NYT calls for moderator ‘fact check’ after Lauer sins by allowing candidates to speak

The biggest news to come out of Wednesday night’s candidate forum was not anything said by either Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton or Republican nominee Donald Trump.

No, the biggest story of the night was how NBC host Matt Lauer allegedly failed at his job as a journalist. Lauer, who has been a journalist since 1979, who has co-hosted The Today Show since 1997, who was live during the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, and who has won numerous Emmy awards for his coverage.

Suddenly, Lauer is garbage, no better—in the eyes of the mainstream media—than some basement-dwelling right-wing blogger.

National Poll: Trump Surges Among Latinos, African-Americans

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has some favorable ratings among both Latinos and African-American voters, according to results of the latest Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll.

The poll's demographic breakdown showed that by combining voters who were "very favorable" and "somewhat favorable" to Trump, the billionaire developer got a positive rating from 35 percent of Hispanics and 24 percent of African-Americans.

18.4 percent of Hispanics rated him "very favorable;"
16.4 percent of Hispanics rated him "somewhat favorable."

Among black voters:

10.5 percent rated Trump "very favorable;"
13.3 percent rated Trump "somewhat favorable."

A Breitbart analysis of the poll notes Trump would not win with either group because 49 percent of Hispanics and 69 percent of African-Americans still have a "very unfavorable" view of him.

Hispanic support would help Trump in Florida, while African-American supporters will help him in Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, according to Breitbart. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is equally unpopular with Hispanics, at 49 percent.

Hillary Walks Away From Concussion Question As Press Avoids Emails, Clinton Foundation

In what was dubbed a "softball" first press conference for Hillary Clinton after 278 days of silence, the Democratic presidential candidate was never asked about her controversial private email server or her family's foundation.

Clinton addressed reporters on the tarmac in Westchester, N.Y., at a podium in front of her warming up airplane. She was asked six questions over 15 minutes about the tightening polls in the presidential race, and whether she believed she was being treated different in the race because she is a woman. A roar from the auxiliary power unit of the Clinton campaign's Boeing 737 plane served as a loud backdrop to the brief press conference availability.

Clinton was also asked about Trump’s comments the night before on foreign policy.

However, while the topics of the email server or the foundation were clearly taboo, one reported tried to bring up a relevant question about her health. As the Daily Mail reports, Hillary Clinton dodged a question on Thursday about FBI interview notes that showed her attributing memory lapses to a 2012 concussion.

'Can you clarify what you told the FBI about your concussion?' DailyMail.com asked as Clinton walked away from her podium on the tarmac in White Plains, N.Y. 'Read the reports,' she responded, offering no explanation.

As the Mail adds, the question and answer were not heard in network TV broadcasts or Internet live-feeds since they occurred away from microphones.

FEC Commissioner Warns Dems Are Gunning for Conservative Media

A key Federal Election Commission Republican warned Wednesday that liberals are moving aggressively to "amend the First Amendment" so that conservatives are silenced and businesses are chased "out of the democracy."

In some the toughest criticism leveled at Democrats, Commissioner Lee E. Goodman said that the attack started after the Tea Party changed American politics in the 2010 election and now dominates the politics of the Left.

"It has triggered a very aggressive movement by people to amend the First Amendment, left intellectuals have placed it on the table," Goodman said on Boston's Howie Carr show.

"The general tenor of the Left in American politics today has certainly spoken out against First Amendment rights. It has been a reversal over the last 50 years," he added, citing FDR Democrats who defended socialists and communists.

From trying to reverse the Citizens United decision to using the IRS to kill Tea Party groups, Goodman said that the Democrats have moved to change free speech in the country.

Worcester Backs Hogan’s Planned Septic Changes

SNOW HILL – County officials called Gov. Larry Hogan’s plans to remove septic pretreatment requirements for systems throughout most of the state a victory.

During the Maryland Association of Counties conference, Hogan announced his plans to remove the septic pretreatment requirements for systems not in the state’s critical areas. At this week’s meeting of the Worcester County Commissioners, county staff praised the change as it will reduce most new home costs substantially.

“This is a good thing moving forward,” said Bob Mitchell, the county’s director of environmental programs. “It’s a victory.”

Mitchell said the change was part of the Hogan administration’s commitment to reviewing existing regulations that were creating difficulties.

Essentially the change will mean that BAT (Best Available Technology) septic systems are only required for new construction in the Chesapeake and Coastal Bays critical areas. Since 2012, the BAT systems had been required statewide for any new home. Now, they’ll only be required in the environmentally sensitive critical areas.

Erik Prince on Huma Abedin: ‘Agent of Influence Very Sympathetic to the Muslim Brotherhood’ Had Hillary Clinton’s Ear ‘for All These Years’

Retired Navy SEAL and former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince offered his insights on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s close personal aide Huma Abedin on Thursday’s edition of Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM.

“Huma Abedin, the person closest to Hillary Clinton in the world, connected to the Muslim Brotherhood, edited a journal with radical Islamic thought in it. Her family, she comes from a bizarre background – well, it’s not really bizarre, it’s kinda commonplace in the Muslim world. Talk to us about the Abedins,” Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow said Prince.

“Her parents, particularly her father, was very much a Muslim Brotherhood sympathizer or agent, originally from India,” Prince replied.

Over 70% Of US Doctors Surveyed Say Hillary's Health Concerns Are "Serious, Possibly Disqualifying"

On a day when Hillary Clinton proclaimed the media biased (against her), labeling the GOP as "sad, misogynistic sexists," a survey of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) found that nearly 71% of physicians thought concerns about Hillary Clinton's health are "serious - could be disqualifying for the position of President."

With her lead over Trump tumbling to six-week lows following a poor performance at last night's "commander-in-chief" forum, and a press conference focused on what she was not asked (or didn't answer)...

But some of the players might make a statement before the game even starts.

Following protests by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and Seattle cornerback Jeremy Lane, members of the Seahawks might join together to address the issues that motivated Kaepernick to first sit, then kneel during the playing of the national anthem.

LEGENDARY COMMENTS BY GEORGE CHEVALLIER 9-10-16

Collector Cards

Small collector cards have been placed in various products since as early as the 1880’s. These were originally used in tobacco products. They were meant to entice a man to buy a certain brand because of the cards, which were handed down to a boy who then badgered the man to buy the same product again in hopes of getting a different card. The card sets from 1909-10 were comprised of hundreds of different cards. To complete a set from this era is quite difficult, but a selection from these sets can be had for a very modest sum. Of course, the more popular baseball players like the ones that have since been enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame are going to be more expensive. The real collector puts the dollar amount aside and focuses on the antiquity of the card. They also produced cards of many other subjects like boxers, flags of all countries, flowers etc,

The next age of baseball card popularity was when the Goudy Gum Company issued cards from 1933-38. I went to a card show in Willow Grove, Pa. back in the mid-1980’s that was the premier vintage card show in the country. While my main objective was to complete the sets from my youth, I found that the older cards could be had for very modest sums. Since most of my cards were from the 1950’s, most of the cards I needed were available. I had enough “doubles” to trade for the cards I needed with very little cash outlay. I made a mental note that there were very men in their 70’s trying to finish their 1933 or 1934 Goudy sets and that my 1950’s cards were not going to be in great demand when I reached my golden years. For this reason, when I found myself without a job at 60 years old, and the ‘50’s cards still had good value, I sold every set I had and the money allowed me to retire earlier than I normally would have.

When the prices of baseball cards started escalating some of the good old time dealers became disillusioned and got out of the business of buying and selling baseball cards. They were just too embarrassed to charge the price “the book” said that card was worth. I lost all interest when they started grading cards. I thought a card was O.K. if it wasn’t torn or scuffed too badly. The final straw came for me when I went to trade a 1954 Hank Aaron rookie card to a dealer and he pulled out a micrometer and measured the borders before declaring it off center and not mint. I had taken that very card out of a pack myself back in 1954 and it had not seen the light of day since. I had seen the same things happen in the coin collecting hobby and quit collecting coins. As prices rose, I observed dealers wearing expensive diamond rings, Rolex watches and gold coin necklaces. The joy of collecting was gone for me.

Today, the time of the penny baseball card is gone. They are printing them while you sleep and there is no way you can get them all. The last year I collected (1989), it would have cost me over $32,000 to buy every new issue for that year in the various forms available. And like I always say, “A good hobby is one that you spend more time than money on”.

Sad, isn't it?

Someone please
tell me what the HELL's wrong with

to make room for
the adoption of Foreign Orphans.

AMERICA: A country
where we have
Countless Homeless

treatment -- etc.

YET..........

They will have a

Ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents
cloth es, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.

Now Just Imagine
if Our own
*GOVERNMENT*
Gave 'US'the same
support they give to
foreign countries.

One of the things at the top of Trump's list.

They're scared silly of him and worried their gravy train
will be gone if they allow him to be elected!

I'm not a fan of his mouth, but his opponent is already part
of the problem and hasn't done anything about it, and Won't.
