"Grandma Killer" Cuomo Sent 4,300 Patients Back To Nursing Homes Despite Positive COVID-19 Tests

Earlier this month, a reporter at one of NY Gov Andrew Cuomo's daily press briefings asked the governor about reports that the state issued guidance calling for hospitals to return thousands of patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 to nursing homes or long-term care facilities where they lived.

Somehow, despite the horrifying notion that Cuomo deliberately sent patients back to nursing homes where they unleashed some of the deadliest outbreaks in the country, the governor readily owned up to the decision, and insisted public health officials believed this to be the best option to prevent the patients from just hanging around the hospital.

With the benefit of hindsight, we now see that the hospital bed shortages that the US had prepared for never came to pass. So, not only did this decision lead to thousands of deaths, it was also totally unnecessary.

Because as the Associated Press reported Friday morning, an investigation discovered that more than 4,000 nursing home patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 were returned to their care facilities due to this state order.

More than 4,300 recovering coronavirus patients were sent to New York’s already vulnerable nursing homes under a controversial state directive that was ultimately scrapped amid criticisms it was accelerating the nation’s deadliest outbreaks, according to a count by The Associated Press.

AP compiled its own tally to find out how many COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals to nursing homes under the March 25 directive after New York’s Health Department declined to release its internal survey conducted two weeks ago. It says it is still verifying data that was incomplete.

Michigan governor extends stay-at-home order through June 12

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) extended her state’s stay-at-home order through June 12 as the Wolverine State continues to grapple with its coronavirus outbreak.

Whitmer, who has faced a litany of protests over her restrictions, signed an executive order extending the stay-at-home order past its scheduled May 28 expiration and mandating that venues like theaters, gyms and casinos remain shuttered.

The order comes a day after Whitmer began relaxing certain restrictions, allowing social gatherings of 10 people or fewer and permitting retail businesses to reopen to customers for appointment-only shopping. She said further measures intended to ease restrictions could be forthcoming as warranted by data on the coronavirus.

WSJ Columnist: Here's What the Press Left Out When AG Barr Said No Criminal Probe Will Be Opened Against Biden

Former Vice President Joe Biden has been exposed. He was in on the unmasking of former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. What did he know and when did he know it? Flynn has been exposed as a victim of an FBI run amok, with new documents showing a plot to entrap the former Trump official based on a phone call he had with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. This call, coupled with the debunked Democrat-funded opposition research project called the Trump dossier, provided the basis for the FBI to target Flynn in their counterintelligence probe. There was no evidence for them to do so. We know this. Former FBI Director James Comey sure knew it but went ahead anyway, which led to the general pleading guilty to bogus “lying to the FBI” charges; the agents who interviewed Flynn felt he didn’t lie, by the way. It was a witch hunt propped up by a hoax.
So, with Attorney General Barr announcing that neither former Vice President Biden or former President Barack Obama would face criminal charges for their role in this fiasco, even though both men were in a meeting where the latter issued a marching order to protect the FBI probe from the incoming Trump administration virtually at all costs, the press seemed to miss the second part of the statement. It’s not shocking. This is the same press that believed the Trump-Russia collusion myth for over two years. The same press that couldn’t really parse what the DOJ IG really said about bias within the FBI/DOJ in his report about FISA abuses. And the same press that is just insufferably stupid when it comes to covering the Trump administration.
Did Obama know? Well, based on this January 5, 2017, meeting, he sure did. Why didn’t Obama rein it in? Well, as Kimberley Strassel at The Wall Street Journal noted, it’s because he supports “politicized justice.” And that’s where she says Trump should politicize to the fullest for the 2020 campaign season. Remind voters that Obama’s DOJ ran amok, violated the rights of American citizens, and was totally unapologetic about it—and how Biden was there cheerleading it all on for years. This is what will be resurrected with a Biden presidency. In all, Biden will face his reckoning with the American voter (via WSJ):
“Based on the information I have today,” he [Barr] said, “I don’t expect Mr. Durham’s work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man.” But the press largely ignored the fuller context of Mr. Barr’s remarks. He reminded Americans that our system provides for two methods of accountability—political and criminal—and it’s dangerous to mix the two.
The attorney general noted that for decades “there have been increasing attempts to use the criminal-justice system as a political weapon.” He specifically cited the “grave injustice” of a “law-enforcement and intelligence apparatus” that advanced “a false and utterly baseless Russian collusion narrative against the president.” That narrative was provided to the FBI by Democrats and the Hillary Clinton campaign, making the FBI’s Trump investigation the purest expression of politicized justice.

CNN Was Used to Spread Lies And They're Just Fine with That

When an anonymous source gives bad information to a journalist, that source should no longer be protected by the cloak of anonymity. And the angriest people involved in the entire scenario should be the reporter who passed on the bad information and the company that broadcast or published it.

So, why is CNN so complacent about one of the biggest fake stories in the entire Russian Collusion affair?

In summary: While the Mueller Special Counsel team was forming its case against Paul Manafort, CNN ran with an anonymous-sourced story that the FBI had a FISA warrant on Manafort that pre-dated the formation of Mueller's investigation. It appears as though the press reports of the FISA warrant may have compelled the judge overseeing the Manafort grand jury to make a ruling that compelled Manafort's lawyer to testify (an apparent breach of attorney/client privilege).

It turns out that the Manafort FISA story was a complete fake. Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz made that determination in his extensive investigation of the Crossfire Hurricane probe and other FISA examinations.

Dear GOP: Stop Cowering Before Bad-Faith Race Card Attacks

Can Democrats come up with a better argument than calling people with different policy proposals racist? Can Republicans stop cowering in the face of such attacks?'

“Dear Mitch McConnell,” wrote Miami Herald columnist Leonard Pitts, Jr., last week. “Why don’t you just go ahead and call Barack Obama the n-word? You know you want to.”

What led to this over-the-top racial attack from Pitts? Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had the audacity to disagree with an approach taken by former President Barack Obama, who leaked audio of himself critiquing the Trump administration after new revelations about his involvement spying on the incoming Trump administration. McConnell thought it an unwise deviation from norms.

The political media used to agree about the importance of this norm. In 2007, former President Jimmy Carter “incited a tsk-tsking tsunami in the capital,” wrote The New York Times’ Mark Leibovich, for the offense of “failing to observe the protocol that former presidents should speak respectfully of their successors, or at least with some measure of restraint.”

Nolte: ‘You Ain’t Black’ and Joe Biden’s 10 Other Acts of Racism

Joe Biden committed yet another bizarre outburst of virulent racism on Friday morning when he told black America that if they don’t vote for him in November “then you ain’t black.”

As is usually the case, the 77-year-old looked confused and tired during his virtual interview with Charlamagne tha God, co-host of the Breakfast Club, a popular syndicated radio show.

The entire interview was a disaster. Biden slurred his words, lost his train of thought, and looked frail and more than a little out of it. So it would have been an embarrassment even without the racist outburst.

Good heavens, about ten minutes into the 18-minute interview, while speaking primarily about black prisoners, Biden claimed they “can’t read.” After this comment, a Biden aide tried to shut it down. Biden stubbornly refused, and things only went downhill from there.

Without being asked a question that would solicit such a thing, or any question for that matter, Biden just blurted out: “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black!”

Baltimore Mayor Doubles Down: Trump’s ‘Violating the Law’ with Memorial Day Visit

Baltimore Mayor Jack Young (D) is once again demanding President Donald Trump scrap his planned visit to the city on Memorial Day, arguing that he believes the trip is against the law, citing the city’s stay-at-home order still being in place due to the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.

“We don’t need to be spending our resources for the president who’s coming here under our orders to stay at home. I think he’s violating the law,” Young said, according to CBS News Baltimore.

The White House announced this week that President Trump and first lady Melania Trump will travel to Baltimore to visit the Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine.

President Trump said in a statement:

The City of Baltimore remains under a Stay at Home order that was put in place to help safeguard our residents from the dangers associated with COVID-19. We have worked closely with our health professionals to educate the public about the benefits of social distancing and staying home, unless leaving for an essential reason, like visiting a doctor or picking up groceries.

On Thursday, Young first called on President Trump to cancel his trip, citing health concerns stemming from the pandemic and the price tag associated with a presidential visit.

Young said, reported CBS Baltimore:

I wish that the President, as our nation’s leader, would set a positive example and not travel during this holiday weekend. I would hope that the President would change his mind and decide to remain at home. If he decides, however, to move forward with his scheduled trip to Baltimore we will, of course, be prepared for his visit.

Charlamagne tha God slams Joe Biden's record with African Americans after the Democrat's 'ain't black' gaffe and says his 1994 crime bill was a 'very intricate' part of 'systemic racism'

Radio host Charlamagne tha God issued a scathing rebuke to former Vice President Joe Biden following the presidential candidate's gaffe about black voters.

Charlamagne condemned Biden's track record with black voters, stating that the former vice president was a 'very intricate' part of the 'systemic racism' that needs to be 'dismantled.'

'My overall takeaway from the conversation is that I heard him talk about things he did for black people back in the day but what have you done for me lately is my motto,' the radio host explained to CNN on Friday.

'I see Black communities catching hell no matter who is in the White House.'

Douglas Andrews: Mail-in Voting: Dems Go for a Tammany Haul

Democrats in key states are pushing to expand voting by mail this year.

Boss Tweed may have said it best: “As long as I count the votes, what are you going to do about it?”

Tweed’s comment, of course, goes directly to the cornerstone of a healthy republic: the citizenry’s faith in free and fair elections. Absent that fundamental guarantee — that only honest votes will be counted — a nation’s elected leaders lack legitimacy and moral authority, and the nation itself lacks the consent of its people. And this is what separates the United States from the tyrannical regimes and the banana republics.

This electoral season, however, will see that guarantee tested to its fullest. In their zeal to defeat Donald Trump in November, and in their utter refusal to let a good crisis go to waste, Democrats at the national and state levels are using the China Virus as an excuse to promote and enact a nationwide vote-by-mail system.

One of the battlegrounds for this push is Michigan, a state whose 16 electoral votes went to Trump by a razor-thin margin in 2016. Yesterday, Trump took aim at the state’s secretary of state, Democrat Jocelyn Benson, whose office has sent 7.7 million absentee ballot applications to Michigan voters. As the president noted, “This was done illegally and without authorization by a rogue Secretary of State. I will ask to hold up funding to Michigan if they want to go down this Voter Fraud path!”

Tony Perkins: WHO Let the Truth out

The Chinese Communist Party must wake up every morning and thank its lucky stars for the U.S. media. While the rest of the world rages at the regime for a virus that’s killed hundreds of thousands of people, America’s press corps only sees one villain: Donald Trump. That’s been an unexpected blessing for China, who knows the media’s red-hot hatred of the president will help undermine anything he does to hold them accountable. Fortunately for America, Donald Trump has had three and a half years of experience ignoring the press — and he’s not going to stop now.

If you thought President Trump had an impossible job before, it was a picnic compared to the pandemic. Americans are dying, the economy is crumbling, world organizations are taking China’s side — and the press seems intent on blaming the White House for all of it. Surely, New York Post's Michael Goodwin insists, despite their personal loathing of Trump, the media would concede that China is at least partially responsible for the coronavirus’s deaths and devastation. Think again. “For the Left, Trump and America are to blame. That’s where they begin, that’s where they end.”

Even now, as the president tries to hold the World Health Organization (WHO) accountable, the media is right there — undermining his every move. But that, Goodwin points out, is where they lose. Because this president is “hellbent on [facing off with China and its cronies], even as our nation’s media elites… undercut him.”

“No other living Republican would dare to face off with China if it meant also standing up to the [New York] Times, the Washington Post, CNN, and the establishment of both parties. If anyone else were president, China would… [have gotten] away with causing the most deadly pandemic in a century. And were it not for Trump, the WHO still would be a revered institution instead of being unmasked as China’s gofer. Indeed, it is only the United States’ leadership — and that means Trump — that gives all those other countries the backbone even to demand an investigation. Otherwise, they would fold in the face of the threats that Chinese leaders routinely issue to anyone who dares question whether the outbreak could have been stopped.”

Business leaders, philanthropists hope to buy The Baltimore Sun and run it as local nonprofit

A rainbow streaks across the sky behind The Baltimore Sun's Port Covington offices.(Jerry Jackson)

A group of Baltimore philanthropists, businesspeople and the union representing journalists are again rallying support for an idea that’s long been floated but never materialized: regaining local ownership for The Baltimore Sun.

Now, with the latest campaign in full swing, even some of the players involved say they aren’t sure whether it’s a realistic pursuit or a well-intentioned but futile effort to preserve an iconic newspaper and local institution.

Robert C. Embry Jr., president of the Abell Foundation, informed the newspaper’s parent, Tribune Publishing Co., of the Maryland nonprofit’s interest in buying The Sun, but talks never got underway, said Ted Venetoulis, a spokesman and adviser to the effort.

“They gave us a friendly response, basically saying: We got your letter, we aren’t interested in selling right now, but stay in touch,” Venetoulis said. “I was the initial contact point, but the letter offering to buy came from Bob and the foundation. I am a born optimist and so is Bob, but at this point nothing has changed, so that’s where we are."

A Tribune Publishing spokesman said the company does not comment on merger and acquisition activity.

Venetoulis said the overture was delivered several months ago and made clear that the Abell Foundation had the money on hand to make the purchase without any concerns about financing.

University of Delaware refuses FOIA requests on Biden records

Following records requests from Fox News about documents related to Tara Reade's allegations against Joe Biden, the University of Delaware refused to provide any documents from its collection of Biden's senatorial papers, citing a provision in state law that purportedly exempts the school from requests not related to "public funds."

The university, which stores and owns the records, gave its response late Wednesday ahead of a looming deadline.

On April 29 and 30, Fox News sent three public records requests to the University of Delaware asking for access to any documents in its possession in relation to Reade's allegations against the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. Biden, his campaign and other former staffers for Biden have denied the allegation and said it could not have happened in that Senate office's culture – while also maintaining, in response to inquiries about his senatorial records, that personnel files would not be housed at the university.

Fauci Says ‘Now Is the Time’ to Reopen Economy, But With Caution

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said Friday that it is time to reopen the economy, but warned that states should do so cautiously, with precautions to prevent a resurge.

Speaking in an interview with CNBC, Fauci said maintaining stay-at-home orders for too long could cause “irreparable damage.” He dismissed claims that public health experts in the administration were urging prolonged lockdowns, which were imposed early in the outbreak to curb the spread of COVID-19, the respiratory illness caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, commonly known as the novel coronavirus.

“Now is the time, depending upon where you are and what your situation is, to begin to seriously look at reopening the economy, reopening the country to try to get back to some degree of normal,” Fauci told CNBC’s Meg Tirrell.

His comments echo what he said on Thursday, during an online coaching and learning session of the COVID-19 Local Response Initiative, a project to help city leaders cope with the pandemic and its resulting public health and economic crises.

Currently, data shows that more than 90,000 people in the United States have died from the virus so far.

Trump on the Front Lines: Big Bet on Virus Drug Gets Personal

Judicial Watch has been closely following the saga of President Trump and the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine (HC). We get a lot of mail on the subject. We’ve long considered it a bold gamble and a winning bet. On Monday, the president took it to another level, announcing that he himself had been taking the drug.

Heads promptly exploded across the liberal universe. Nancy Pelosi denounced the president for being “morbidly obese” (he’s not) and “taking something that has not been approved by the scientists.” Longtime Trump antagonist Joe Scarborough called the president a liar, saying he is “not taking hydroxychloroquine.” Chuck Schumer said he did it “to divert attention from all the bad things happening.” Medical professionals rushed in. Trump was setting an “irresponsible” example, said Dr. Scott Solomon of Harvard Medical School. There are “serious hazards” to HC, said Dr. Steven Nissen of the Cleveland Clinic. You get the idea.

Yesterday, the president said he would soon stop taking HC, but point made—and it’s a good one. Trump correctly views himself as a frontline leader in the battle against Covid-19. That’s the context for understanding his latest move.

The key word is “frontline.”

Here’s what Trump said about HC on Monday:

“You’d be surprised at how many people are taking it, especially the frontline workers, before you catch it. The frontline workers, many many are taking it. I happen to be taking it. I happen to be taking it…. Frontline workers take it. A lot of doctors take it. I take it.”

Who's Afraid of Ilhan Omar?

Congresswoman's refusal to answer questions about a big book advance that may violate House rules is just the latest media stonewall

Rep Ilhan Omar's (D., Minn.) new memoir, This Is What America Looks Like: My Journey From Refugee to Congresswoman is out next week. Among the questions it leaves unanswered is whether Omar complied with House rules governing the big advance she reportedly received on the book.

House rules prohibit "the receipt of any advance payment on copyright royalties" unless the contract has been approved by the House Ethics Committee, as the Washington Free Beaconreported in December. At the time, neither Omar nor her publisher responded to repeated requests for comment about when, exactly, Omar signed her book contract and received the advance, which Forbes put at between $100,000 and $250,000.

Omar may have received the royalty payment before she was sworn in on Jan. 3, 2019, but her2018 financial disclosure listed no book advance. We would like to see her 2019 disclosure, but Omar has filed for a 90-day extension.

Ninety days takes Omar just past the contested Democratic-Farmer-Labor primary that she faces back home in Minnesota this August—by two days, to be exact. We'll have to check back then.

Pittsburgh County Settles Lawsuit Over Dead, Duplicate Voter Registrants

Allegheny County, home to the city of Pittsburgh and its surrounding suburbs, settled a lawsuit over the numerous instances of dead voters and duplicate registrants on its voter rolls.

The county entered into a settlement on Monday with the Public Interest Legal Foundation, an election integrity group, after its manager of elections and three members of its board of elections were sued. The election watchdog found that the county's voter rolls contained nearly 1,600 dead registrants, close to 7,500 with erroneous information, and more than 1,500 aged 100 or above (including 49 born in the 1800s). The suit accused the officials of failing to reasonably maintain the rolls.

As part of the settlement, the county has agreed to turn over records related to the dead registrants, send letters to registrants with incorrect dates of birth on file, inspect registrations of individuals aged 110 years or older to determine whether death notices were overlooked, and to accept "list maintenance leads" from the watchdog over the course of the next year.

The voter roll cleanup comes six months ahead of the 2020 elections in a region that will play a pivotal role in determining which presidential contender will take Pennsylvania. President Donald Trump won the state by fewer than 45,000 votes in 2016.

WATCH: Confused Old Codger Joe Biden Will Agree to Anything

Joe Biden doesn't always speak coherently, but when he's asked to commit to something, the former vice president typically responds with an emphatic "yes." It's not always clear if Biden is aware of what he's agreeing to do or if he understands the implications, but the 77-year-old has demonstrated a willingness to say "yes" to almost anything you ask of him.

"Absolutely yes, I commit," Biden said last week during a virtual town hall on MSNBC. In this particular case, the former vice president was responding to a voter who asked whether he would commit to "not pulling a President Ford" and issuing a pardon to President Trump "under the pretense of healing the nation." As usual, it wasn't entirely clear whether Biden understood the question.

Over the course of his improbably successful presidential campaign, Biden has made numerous on-the-spot pledges in response to questions from journalists and voters. For example, Biden has promised to "sacrifice" economic growth to fight climate change, punish "senior Saudi leaders," oversee a "responsible phase-out of fossil fuel production," and never fire an inspector general as president. Free health care for illegal immigrants? Sure, why not.

Biden is also partial to answering multi-part questions with multiple uses of the word "yes." It's clearly one of his favorite words—easy to remember and pronounce. He's committed—to commitment. He'll agree so long as the questions are easy. If they're not, Biden has a tendency to get cranky and lash out, for example, by telling black voters they "ain't black" unless they support him.

Biden: I’m Going to Beat Joe Biden

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Friday appeared to tell CNBC he will defeat himself in the November election.

"I’m prepared to say that I have a record of over 40 years and that I’m going to beat Joe Biden," Biden said. "Look at my record."

Biden's campaign did not reply by press time to a request for clarification.

The candidate was responding to an interview question about whether he plans to govern as a progressive "in the mold of" Sens. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) and Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.). Biden noted his record and opposition to progressive policies like Medicare for All.

Gaffes are common for the former vice president to make. During an earlier interview, Biden told The Breakfast Club radio host Charlamagne tha God that he isn't "black" if he can't decide between voting for him or for Donald Trump.

"If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black," Bidensaid.

Last August Biden raised eyebrows with another racial comment when he said, "Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids."

"We have this notion that somehow if you're poor you cannot do it," Biden said at the time. "Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids. Wealthy kids, black kids, Asian kids. No, I really mean it."

CDC admits to giving misleading COVID-19 testing data. Several states have been making the same mistake.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention admitted that it is combining viral and antibody tests when reporting its overall testing totals, a decision which scientists say paints an inaccurate picture of the state of the pandemic in America.

The test mix was first reported by NPR's WRLN station in Miami after a nationwide analysis found major discrepancies between state reports on testing and CDC reports.

"It's apples to oranges. The two tests measure two different things," said Mary Jo Trepka, a professor of epidemiology at Florida International University.

"You've got to be kidding me," said Ashish Jha, director of the Harvard Global Health Institute, in a report by The Atlantic. "How could the CDC make that mistake? This is a mess."

Sharpton: Biden’s Comment ‘Ludicrous,’ ‘Inappropriate’ — But Trump Is The ‘Racist’

Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline,” network host Al Sharpton reacted to presumptive Democrat nominee former Vice President Joe Biden’s telling radio host Charlamagne tha God that voters who have trouble deciding whether to support him or President Donald Trump “ain’t black.”

Sharpton said, “I watched the interview that he did with Charlamagne tha God. First of all, Charlamagne tha God is respected as one can be in the black community and in general. There’s no way he’s pressing someone in an interview on behalf of Donald Trump. He presses everyone in interviews and ironically the questions he was raising about Vice President Biden, I raised, and others have raised in interviews. He presses me when I go on the show, and we’re friends. He is one that wants answers.”

He added, “I think that clearly, the vice president ought to deal with his record. Eight years this man was vice president and did things that he can concretely point to."

He concluded, “He has a concrete record to run against a man whose own aide Omarosa Manigault... calls him a racist. So deal with the record."

Trump campaign and Don Jr. brand Joe Biden 'racist' and 'the definition of white privilege' after his 'you ain't black' gaffe

President Trump and his allies jumped on the opportunity to shame Joe Biden for saying to a popular black radio show host 'you ain't black' if you 'have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump.'

Biden, the Democrats' presumptive presidential nominee, made the cringey comment to Charlamagne tha God at the end of a contentious 18-minute interview for his show 'The Breakfast Club' that aired Friday morning.

Shortly thereafter, two Trump surrogates - Katrina Pierson and Sen. Tim Scott - slapped back on a conference call with reporters, with Pierson characterizing Biden's quip as 'extremely racist' and 'the definition of white privilege.'

Scott had also gone on Fox Business Network and remarked that what Biden said was 'the most arrogant, condescending comment I have heard in a long time.'

'It was the single dumbest decision anyone could make': More than 4,300 recovering coronavirus patients were sent to New York nursing homes under Gov Cuomo's directive that the facilities could not reject anyone

More than 4,300 recovering coronavirus patients were sent to New York's already vulnerable nursing homes.

The state directive, which said nursing homes could not refuse to accept patients from hospitals who had been diagnosed with COVID-19, was issued on March 25.

It was ultimately scrapped amid widespread criticism that it was accelerating the nation's deadliest outbreak as patients went into the homes and infected more residents ultimately leading to more than 5,800 nursing and adult care facility deaths in New York.

The Associated Press compiled its own tally to find out how many coronavirus patients were discharged from hospitals to nursing homes after New York's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene declined to release its internal survey conducted two weeks ago.

Why Some Americans Love Government Lockdowns

The charlatans, however, don’t care about adding to human knowledge. Frustrated by their lack of progress, they’ve long since given up on practicing real science. What they care about is their university tenure…and how they can apply complex tools to bolster the profitability of their bamboozle.

The science of epidemiology has self-destructed. Mathematical biologists of the doom orthodox have sullied the profession. The Imperial College computer model led by Professor Neil Ferguson – a charlatan – to justify lockdown orders in England and the United States has been revealed to be utter trash.

Ted Cruz Goes Off After GQ Magazine Claims Renowned Segregationist Was A Republican

The correction, which was spotted by Mark Hemingway of Real Clear Investigations, attracted the attention of Cruz, who said the magazine’s correction revealed “the lie at the heart of a pile of lies.”

“The ‘correction’ that reveals the lie at the heart of a pile of lies. Yes, racist George Wallace was a Democrat. KKK founder Nathan Bedford Forrest was a Democrat. The authors of Jim Crow were Democrats. And Democrats today seem not at all concerned about the millions of black children aborted,” said the Texas senator.

First Federal Court Win Ordering Release of Medically Vulnerable People in our Country’s Jails

Civil Rights, Racial Justice Organizations Win Michigan Lawsuit Granting Immediate Release of Medically Vulnerable People During COVID-19 Pandemic

Oakland County, MI –
Civil rights and racial justice groups won a major victory today, ordering the release of medically vulnerable people from the Oakland County Jail in Michigan. Federal Court Judge Linda V. Parker granted a preliminary injunction which orders medically vulnerable people to be released from the jail because Oakland County cannot safely protect them from the grave risk of serious harm posed by COVID-19. County officials are risking the lives of everyone inside and the community at large because of their failure to respond adequately to the threat of COVID-19. This systemic violation of constitutional rights led to litigation in April filed by Advancement Project National Office, ACLU-Michigan, Civil Rights Corp, LaRene & Kriger P.L.C. and the Law Firm of Pitt, McGehee, Palmer and Rivers.

“In the midst of this unprecedented and deadly pandemic, people currently incarcerated in our nation’s prisons and jails are among the most vulnerable and powerless in our society and cannot adequately protect themselves from the lethal risk of COVID-19, without the intervention of federal and state court judges,” said Krithika Santhanam, Justice Project Staff Attorney for Advancement Project National Office. “Judge Parker’s order granting the release of medically vulnerable people currently incarcerated at the Oakland County Jail serves as a model for the rest of the country and provides the type of critical relief that comports with the law, justice, and basic standards of human decency during this harrowing time in our country’s history”

Chinese National Arrested For Trying To Steal $20 Million In Coronavirus Relief Funds

Federal law enforcement officials arrested Chinese national Muge Ma, 36, who goes by the name Hummer Mars, on Thursday for allegedly trying to steal $20 million from U.S. taxpayers that was intended to help American businesses devastated by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Department of Justice said in a statement announcing the charges:

In connection with loan applications for relief available from the Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”) and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (“EIDL”) Program, MA falsely represented to the SBA and five financial institutions that his companies, New York International Capital LLC (“NYIC”) and Hurley Human Resources LLC (“Hurley”), had hundreds of employees and paid millions of dollars in wages to those employees, when, in fact, MA appears to have been the only employee of his companies. MA’s company NYIC also fraudulently represented that it was representing New York State in procuring COVID-19 test kits and personal protective equipment to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“There are many people in desperate need of federal money right now to get them through an unbelievably difficult time,” FBI Assistant Director William F. Sweeney Jr said. “The last thing they need to hear is that a fraudster allegedly tried to steal millions of dollars for his own selfish use. "

McConnell slams House for taking 'paid leave' in May

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell slammed House Democrats on Thursday for taking “paid leave” during the coronavirus.

“While essential workers across the country continue to clock in, the Democratic House of Representatives has essentially put itself on paid leave for months,” Mr. McConnell, Kentucky Republican, said on the Senate floor. “I understand they’ve convened for legislative session a grand total of two days — two — in the last eight weeks.”

“At this point, I’m wondering if we should send senators over there to collect their newspapers and water the plants,” he added.

Horowitz: 67K criminals released so far under coronavirus jailbreak. And crime keeps rising

Is this the country for which our soldiers sacrificed their lives?

By now, most Americans are familiar with the shocking stories of everyday Americans getting arrestedfor simply opening businesses that don’t even attract large crowds. However, fewer are aware of the other side of this dystopian and tyrannical equation. As salt-of-the-earth small business owners are being marched into the jails, career dangerous criminals are being marched out of the jails and prisons in astounding numbers.

According to UCLA, which is tracking this data, 67,000 criminals have been released throughout the 50 states. The majority of the criminals, 43,000 of them, have been released from the nation’s jails, and 24,356 were released from prisons.

Consequently, given that we know the shocking degree of recidivism even among criminals more carefully selected for release, we can add victims of crime due to coronavirus jailbreak as the latest long-term death toll from COVID-19, or at least from the governmental reaction to it.

DOJ: Democrats Paid Pennsylvania Election Officials to Stuff Ballot Box

A former Judge of Elections in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been charged and pleaded guilty to illegally adding votes for Democrat candidates in judicial races in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

On Thursday, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced charges against former Judge of Elections Domenick DeMuro, 73, for stuffing the ballot box for Democrats in exchange for payment by a paid political consultant.

The charges, and guilty plea, include conspiracy to deprive Philadelphia voters of their civil rights by fraudulently stuffing the ballot boxes for specific Democrat candidates in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 primary elections and a violation of the Travel Act.

“The Trump administration’s prosecution of election fraud stands in stark contrast to the total failure of the Obama Justice Department to enforce these laws,” Public Interest Legal Foundation President Christian Adams said in a statement. “Right now, other federal prosecutors are aware of cases of double voting in federal elections as well as noncitizen voting. Attorney General William Barr should prompt those other offices to do their duty and prosecute known election crimes.”

Judge Spikes Gov. Whitmer’s Request To Shut Down Michigan Barber

A Michigan county judge denied a request by the state attorney general to close down an Owosso barbershop that has now been open for weeks in violation of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s lockdown order.

Shiawassee County Circuit Judge Matthew Stewart ruled against Whitmer on Thursday, refusing to grant an injunction on 77-year-old Karl Manke’s barbershop. Manke opened his shop on May 4 and closed it briefly last week after being served papers from the state attorney general. He again opened his shop on Tuesday, according to The Detroit News.

Stewart said the case was a “close call” but ultimately ruled in favor of Manke because the state could not conclusively show that Manke was a threat to the public by operating his business. The threat to public health “must be actual and not theoretical,” the judge said.

James Carville, the former political strategist who worked for President Bill Clinton in the 1990s, is predicting that President Donald Trump will 'get his fat a** beat' in November's general election.

Despite polling day being six months away, Carville believes firmly that former vice president and the presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden, will secure a convincing victory over the incumbent.

'He's gonna get his a** beat,' Carville said to John Melendez on The Stuttering John Podcast. 'Alright, he's gonna get his fat a** beat. The question is by how much.'

Baltimore mayor to Trump: Don't visit our city during coronavirus stay-at-home order

Baltimore Mayor Bernard Young urged President Trump on Thursday to forgo a planned Memorial Day visit to the city amid its stay-at-home order.

On Monday, Trump is slated to visit the Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine, which is closed to the public due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"I wish that the President, as our nation's leader, would set a positive example and not travel during this holiday weekend," Young, a Democrat, said in a statement. “That President Trump is deciding to pursue nonessential travel sends the wrong message to our residents, many of whom have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 virus."
