The Inconvenient Truth About the Democratic Party

Why No One Trusts the Mainstream Media

Accused Woman Beater Keith Ellison Easily Wins MN Attorney General #MeToo!

The woman who accused Keith Ellison of abuse spoke out about her treatment by the Democrats compared to how they are treating the 36-year-old allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

Ellison’s ex-girlfriend Karen Monahan accused the congressman of domestic abuse, which led to a second woman coming forward with additional claims against him — backed up by a 9-1-1 call.

The Democratic Party demands that we all “believe women” in the wake of allegations that Brett Kavanaugh got a little handsy with a fellow high school student 36 years ago — but Monahan says that she was not granted that courtesy.

FRAUD EXPERT: Democrat Efforts to Add Votes AFTER Election Day Potentially Grounds for RICO Investigation!

Senator Marco Rubio led the charge against Democrat Party voter manufacturing and voter fraud in the state of Florida.

Rubio called out Broward County two days after the election after the corrupt Democrat elections officials manufactured over 80,000 new ballots after Election Day.
On Thursday night Marco Rubio reported on the planned out Democrat voter fraud after Election Day.

Democrat leaders in Florida directed staffers and volunteers to share altered election forms to fix improper absentee ballots AFTER THE DEADLINE.

The plan was to have Florida voters fix and submit as many absentee votes as possible in hopes of including them in the vote totals.

The email was sent out to Democrat activists BEFORE Nelson and his party allies filed a series of lawsuits challenging some voting rules that applied during the election, claiming they disenfranchised voters.

A federal judge then ruled in Democrat’s favor to count these votes.

America's Socialist Origins

The Intolerable Scourge Of Fake Capitalism

Investment Grade Junk

All is now bustle and hubbub in the late months of the year. This goes for the stock market too. If you recall, on September 22nd the S&P 500 hit an all-time high of 2,940. This was nearly 100 points above the prior high of 2,847, which was notched on January 26th. For a brief moment, it appeared the stock market had resumed its near decade long upward trend.

We actually did not believe in the validity of the September breakout attempt: the extremely large divergence between the broad market and the narrow big cap leadership was one of many signs that an internal breakdown in the stock market was well underway. It is probably legitimate to refer to the January 2018 high as the “orthodox” stock market peak – the point at which most stocks topped out.

Chartists witnessed the take out of the January high and affirmed all was clear for the S&P 500 to continue its ascent. They called it a text book confirmation that the bull market was still intact. Now, just two months later, a great breakdown may be transpiring.

Obviously, this certain fate will be revealed in good time. Still, as we wait for confirmation, one very important fact is clear. The Federal Reserve is currently executing the rug yank phase of its monetary policy. As the Fed simultaneously raises the federal funds rate and reduces its balance sheet, credit markets are slipping and tripping all over themselves.

This week, for example, seven-year investment grade bonds issued by GE Capital International traded with a spread of 2.47 percent. For perspective, this is equivalent to the spread of BB rated junk bonds. In other words, the credit market doesn’t consider GE bonds to be investment grade, regardless of whether compromised credit rating agencies say they are.

Why Politicians Love Deals Like The Amazon Deals

Amazon isn't the first big corporation to manipulate policymakers by shopping around the idea of relocating its headquarter to the "right" city. The "right" city, of course, is the one that provides the company with enough tax breaks and other political favors so as to make the move worth it.

Back in 2001, for example, Aerospace company Boeing did exactly the same thing, with Illinois and Chicago governments winning that contest:

Trump Is Right: California Mismanaging Forests & Land

State has been ignoring precautionary fire measures for decades

President Trump received a lot of pushback from the media over his comments that the mismanagement of California’s land is partial responsible for the deadly wildfires currently plaguing the state.

“There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor,” he tweeted last week. “Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!”

But according to several reports, Trump is correct about California’s land mismanagement.

For example, California has been letting its vegetation grow uncontrollably over the last century, rather than allowing controlled burns to keep it at manageable levels, according to a report by High Country News.

Donald Trump: 'A Very Good Time to Do a Shutdown' for Border Wall

President Donald Trump again said that he is open to a partial government shutdown to force Democrats to help fund the border wall.

“Probably if I was ever going to do a shutdown on border security, when you look at the caravans, when you look at the mess, when you look at the people coming in, this would be a very good time to do a shutdown,” Trump said as he left the White House on Saturday to travel to California.

The president said he wants $5 billion in funding for the wall and border security.

Then They Came for the White Women

As the incompetent election managers in Florida finally finish counting ballots barely in time for the 2020 campaigns to begin, and Georgia’s governor candidate Stacey Abrams chooses to "acknowledge defeat" rather than concede, it’s time to take a look at the role of women in politics.

Hillary

Hillary’s hinting she’s thinking of running for president yet again in 2020. Democrats who still retain a synapse or two are trying to dissuade her. Ken Danieli, an online pollster, ran the numbers and despite all the sister solidarity talk his calculations reveal that 4% more women voted for Obama in 2008 than for Hillary in 2016. By his count (derived from inputs from Wikipedia and exit polls), it also appears that it wasn’t white voters who accounted for Trump’s win. “Trump won only about 1% more white voters than did McCain in 2008…” “Trump won >80% more Black voters than McCain did and >15% more Latino voters than McCain did.”

Since the left cannot -- oh you know why -- attack Black or Latino voters, they’ve aimed their bile at white women voters. To paraphrase Friedrich Gustav Emil Martin Niemöller: First they came for the White Men, and I did not speak out. Then they came for the White Women.

Charlie Kirk: Democrats come out the big losers in Florida’s election mess

Despite desperate efforts by Democrats to overturn the decision of Florida’s voters – and despite the state’s deeply flawed, mismanaged and corrupt election system – it’s now clear that Republican Ron DeSantis will be the state’s next governor and Republican Gov. Rick Scott will be its next U.S. senator.

While a hand recount is still underway in Scott’s race against incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson, “Nelson was left with almost no chance of pulling off a comeback to retain his seat” because Scott was leading by more than 12,000 votes, the Washington Post reported. And Florida’s machine recount of votes showed DeSantis more than 33,000 votes ahead of Democratic Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum – a margin too large to mandate a hand recount.

Democrats who refuse to accept that DeSantis will be governor and that Scott is heading to the Senate are refusing to accept reality. Their complaints against Republicans are absurd and simply the whining of sore losers unable to accept responsibility for their losses.

Crime Plummets After QuikTrip Stores Add Good Guys with Guns

QuikTrip convenience stores added good guys with guns in Wichita, Kansas, and the results were so good that they are expanding the program to stores in other areas.

The NRA noted, “After implementing the new strategy at its Wichita, Kansas locations and seeing success, QuikTrip, the massive gas station and convenience store chain said it would expand the policy to other stores.”

KWCH reports that the good guys with guns will be armed security, but QuikTrip also left the door open to armed clerks in situations where the clerks “have previous experience and necessary licenses.”

Caravan forces short-term shutdown on U.S. border

Homeland Security shut down incoming traffic at the country’s busiest land-border crossing in order to harden the port of entry, Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said Monday.

Ms. Nielsen said she had gotten word a large number of migrants were preparing to “rush the border,” hoping to overwhelm U.S. authorities at the San Ysidro entry point, just north of Tijuana, Mexico.

“Unfortunately, some members of the caravan are purposely causing disruptions at our border ports of entry,” she said on Twitter.

Man dies after being stung by stingray at Australian beach

A 42-year-old Australian man died Saturday after a suspected stingray attack while he was swimming at a beach, police said.

The unidentified man was in the water near Lauderdale Beach around 3 p.m. Saturday when he was stung by a stingray, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) reported. He suffered an injury to his lower abdomen and went into cardiac arrest.

“Attempts to resuscitate the male were unsuccessful,” Tasmania police said in a statement. “…He was removed from the water by friends prior to the arrival of emergency services. It was reported he was unaccompanied in the water at the time of sustaining a puncture wound to his lower abdomen.”

The man’s friends and family gathered at the beach Sunday and held a private ceremony, ABC reported.

The beach, about 9 miles east of Hobart in Tasmania, is a popular swimming destination but also known to have smooth stingrays, the largest kind in Australia, and skates lurking in the water. Smooth stingrays are considered not aggressive and seen by divers, the Australian Museum wrote on its website.

After Botched Recount, Nelson Concedes To Scott In Controversial Florida Race, Giving GOP 52 Senate Seats

Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) conceded a hotly contested Senate race to Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) on Sunday - nearly two weeks after the midterm election and following two contentious recounts, Scott said in a statement.

"I just spoke with Senator Bill Nelson, who graciously conceded, and I thanked him for his years of public service," said Scott. "This victory would not be possible without the hard work of so many people. Now the campaign truly is behind us, and that’s where we need to leave it. We must do what Americans have always done: come together for the good of our state and our country."

Secretive Liberal Donor Network Plots 2020 Strategy in DC

Democracy Alliance held fall investment conference blocks away from White House

A secretive dark money network comprised of powerful liberal donors who help set the Democratic agenda descended on Washington, D.C., to begin plotting strategy for the next two years leading up to the 2020 elections.

The Democracy Alliance, a donors' club of liberal millionaires and billionaires that counts George Soros as a member, gathered just blocks away from the White House at the Capital Hilton hotel for the group's fall investment conference to discuss post-midterm election strategy, according to a conference agenda obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

"Two years ago, on the day after Donald Trump's surprise victory, we threw out the planned agenda for that year's upcoming conference and got to work with colleagues and allies trying to understand what hit us," the agenda reads. "Now we meet at a different moment—still with much work to do, but with the wind at our backs."

"Everything we need to digest, review, and address cannot be covered in two days alone, which is why this conference is a starting point for the work of the next two years to build an America where everyone can participate fairly in the democratic process, that supports an economy built on inclusivity, that leads to a safe environment and healthy communities, and that is equitable and just."

The conference—which is not publicly announced—features heavy security in the area where the donors and activists gather for their sessions, which are off-limits to anyone not involved with the group. The alliance additionally warns its members to "refrain from leaving sensitive materials in public spaces" and to dispose of all paperwork in "specifically-identified recycling bins."

Partners of the alliance, each obligated to spend at least $200,000 a year in support of approved groups, hosted representatives from a number of liberal organizations and Democratic politicians to discuss how to expand the electorate leading up to the 2020 elections, bankrolling and assisting youth voter efforts, and pushing a more progressive agenda in Congress, among other objectives.

FDA Takes on Flatulent Cows

The first drug to combat farting in livestock has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Yes, you read that right: When fed to beef cattle under specific conditions, Experior results in less ammonia gas released by the animals and their waste.

"Today we're announcing the approval of the first animal drug that reduces ammonia gas emissions from an animal or its waste. These ammonia gasses can come from many sources and can affect the health of people, animals and the environment," Steven Solomon, director of the FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine, said in an agency news release.

Ammonia gas emissions can cause atmospheric haze and noxious odors, and high concentrations of ammonia can cause irritation of the eyes, nose and throat in both humans and animals, according to the FDA.

So, Who Are the Real Fascists?
When a political party in the United States no longer believes in the ideals in which their nation was founded, when a political party expresses dissatisfaction with its nation’s Constitution, when a political party pushes Socialism (a system of government that has never been successful in history), when a political party ignores its own immigration laws to allow millions of migrants illegal entry hoping to create more party members and to destroy the culture of the host country, one of two things is happening. Either that party wants to create a new country from the top down or they are only interested in power. In this case, it is both.

People who think for themselves, ignore their Marxist teachers and the media

A common definition of Fascism is: “An authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization.” Wrong! Those who have been indoctrinated will believe that definition. People who think for themselves, ignore their Marxist teachers and the media, will come to the conclusion that fascism is neither inherently left or right wing.

A fascist wants a merger of government and commercial enterprise with the government in total control. The government owns the means of production or colludes heavily with major corporations to impose government control. Fascism is national socialism. All socialism is a left-wing phenomenon.

Retired Hospital Worker Gives Explosive ‘Flu Shot Speech’ Before CDC Advisory Committee

Funny business in GOP congressional winner Young Kim's sudden loss in the recount?

California congressional nominee Young Kim was hailed as the winner with about a three point margin of victory over her Democrat opponent, Gil Cisneros on election night, with the Associated Press and others reporting 100% of the precincts counted. The Asian and immigrant presses celebrated, and Kim was pictured and seated with the Congressional class of 2018 official portrait.

But then something funny happened: She apparently lost last night, as somehow, more votes were counted, and somehow, nearly all of them went for the Democrat, leaving him with a 3,020 surplus.

To her credit, she issued an angry warning a few days earlier:

The Young Kim Campaign is standing up for the democratic process, the will of the majority of voters, and is emphatically committed to every legal vote being counted. pic.twitter.com/ZSqhTBr6eF

She hasn't said anything since.

She makes three good points: That the Cisneros campaign had been rebuked by a judge for ballot tampering and poll worker intimidation, which ought to trigger far more investigative attention than it's gotten, because that's the real thing as far as fraud goes...

Expert: Statins for Cholesterol Not the Answer

The American Heart Association recently issued new guidelines regarding cholesterol control starting with monitoring children as young as two years old. The AHA recommended a lifelong approach to lowering cholesterol to reduce everyone’s risk of heart attack and stroke.

While the guidelines did take an aggressive stance in fighting cholesterol through diet and exercise, they also recommended prescribing cholesterol lowering drugs including hard-hitting PCSK9 inhibitors added to statins for high risk people. Some experts say that the warnings are aimed at the wrong culprit when it comes to reducing the risk of dreaded diseases in our country.

“While cholesterol lowering drugs like satins are still valuable for a certain population, the real Public Enemy No. 1 is sugar — not cholesterol,” Dr. Stephen Sinatra, co-author of “The Great Cholesterol Myth” along with leading nutritionist Dr. Jonny Bowden tells Newsmax. The well-known integrative cardiologist adds: “I myself prescribe statins for men only, under the age of 75, who already have proven coronary artery disease along with CoQ10, but not for the general population.”

Why Does America Have 13 Million Households That Don’t Have Enough Food To Eat?

Things are going to be tough during the days to come, and we are all going to need more flexibility than ever before

Have you ever had a day when your children were crying due to hunger but the cupboards were completely bare and your bank account was empty?

If you haven’t, you should consider yourself to be extremely blessed, because this is what real life feels like for millions upon millions of Americans in 2018. As you will see below, a third of all Americans cannot even afford “the basics” each month, and 13 million households are officially considered to be “food insecure”. In other words, they don’t have enough to eat. Many parents out there choose to skip a meal (or two) each day just so that their kids can have full stomachs. But sometimes the money runs out completely, and that is when it gets really tough.

In recent years, the wealthy have been doing quite well, and many of them have very little sympathy for the struggles of the poor.

But the cold, hard reality of the matter is that the gap between the wealthy and the poor is now the largest that it has been since the 1920s, and approximately one-third of the entire nation cannot even afford the basics each month

'Right to Work' Wins Out in Kentucky

Labor unions were dealt another blow in Kentucky after the state supreme court upheld its right to work law.

The state's highest court upheld a lower court judge's ruling dismissing the lawsuit filed by Teamsters Local 89. The 4-3 majority affirmed that the law, which prohibits mandatory union fees as a condition of employment, passed state constitutional muster and was appropriate under federal labor law.

"We hold that the Unions' constitutional challenges to the Act are without merit," the majority ruling in the 4-3 case says. "In this area of economic legislation, the legislature and the executive branch make the policy, not the courts."

The union argued that right to work illegally denied it the employee dues and fees in violation of the state constitution. The legal challenge said the law would create a free rider problem in which non-dues paying workers benefit from union-negotiated wages, grievance procedures, and work rules, but do not have to pay for that representation. Local 89 did not respond to request for comment.

Soros-Financed Groups Help Brenda Snipes Prevail over Rick Scott in Court Battle

A coalition of organizations financed by billionaire activist George Soros successfully intervened in a lawsuit against Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes in a case involving ballots counted by Snipes’ office after the official deadline had passed.

The judge in the case ultimately rejected an emergency motion for a temporary injunction filed by Gov. Rick Scott’s legal team regarding ballots that were purportedly cast in time but were not included in the first count by Broward County before the deadline for those ballots to be counted. Scott is facing a recount battle in his Senatorial race against Sen. Bill Nelson.

Scott’s campaign had sued Snipes in the case. Notably, the interveners opposing Scott in the case against Snipes were the League of Women Voters and Brennan Center for Justice at the New York University Law School, two organizations financed by Soros. Helping in the case was Common Cause, which is also financed by Soros’s Open Society Foundations. An intervener allows a non-party to join an ongoing lawsuit.

Newt: They’re ‘Dedicated to Stealing the Election if They Have To’

Democrats’ reaction to their losses in the Georgia gubernatorial election and the Florida gubernatorial and Senate elections show they are “dedicated to winning at any cost” and “dedicated to steal[ing] the election if they have to,” former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) warned Friday night on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.”

Stacey Abrams (D) finally admitted defeat Friday evening, acknowledging that former Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp (R) — who resigned from his position after the election and didn’t monitor the final ballot review — is the victor.

But this outcome only occurred because “democracy failed Georgia,” Abrams insisted.

Abrams said she will sue the state because of what she thinks was “the gross mismanagement of this election” in order “to protect future elections from unconstitutional actions.”

She also told supporters she plans to begin an organization to fight for voting rights, insisting she lost the election due to racist voter suppression.

Gingrich noted that Abrams’ rhetoric also resonated with the messaging coming from Democrats about Florida’s gubernatorial and Senate elections.

Expert: Florida Democrats’ Alleged Election Fraud ‘Potentially Grounds for RICO’ Investigation

An effort to allegedly add Democrat votes after Election Day in Florida is “potentially grounds for a RICO” investigation, an election fraud expert says.

The Government Accountability Institute (GAI) research director Eric Eggers exclusively told SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Tonight‘s Senior Editors-at-Large Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak that a report revealing that Florida Democrats asked voters to submit absentee ballots after Election Day is a “smoking gun” and could possibly lead to a racketeering investigation.

Eggers said:

I spoke with a Republican attorney today who is quite familiar with this and connected to the inter-workings and they believe that it is not only the smoking gun, but it is potentially the grounds for a RICO case … this is not over. The first step is to get this out of the way. Let’s get the election certified and let’s get people sworn into office. But I think that this is a very real problem, ultimately whether it’s complete ignorance or an organized effort on behalf of the Florida Democratic Party to manipulate and violate the law … they sent altered forms out with the hopes that they could just get away with it because they could get some sympathetic judges who say, ‘Well, this is what the forms that these people received said so I guess we’ll have to go along with it.’

Republicans battle to defend Trump from threat of impeachment

Lawmakers are jockeying for the top GOP spot on the House Judiciary Committee, which will be ground zero for Democratic attacks on the president.

The audition to become President Donald Trump's most visible defender in Congress — and lead the fight against any impeachment proceedings — is in full swing.

One of Trump’s fiercest allies, Rep. Jim Jordan, on Friday began flirting openly with a bid to serve as the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, the panel where a flood of Democratic-led investigations, and potential impeachment, will begin.

"We’re still looking at it," the Ohio Republican said when asked whether he would run for the post. "I’ve always been one who’s going to fight to get the truth out no matter what role I have. So we’ll just wait and see."

Republicans' pick will be critical for Trump and his party. The new House Democratic majority has detailed a long list of targets for investigation, from Trump’s business entanglements to his decision to fire former FBI Director James Comey. Even after Republicans were routed in the midterms, GOP leaders are vowing to aggressively defend against Democratic probes, which they've labeled "presidential harassment."

Globalists’ Latest Push: Mass Deportation ‘Morally Unacceptable,’ Amnesty is Necessary

Monopolizing the U.S. legal immigration system

The latest push by the globalist apparatus includes amnesty for all 12 to 22 million illegal aliens living across the United States and allowing India and China to monopolize the U.S. legal immigration system.

The Brookings Institute’s William Galston — who has called populism the enemy of democracy — and neoconservative pundit Bill Kristol have released a joint policy brief for their The New Center think tank which advocates giving amnesty to illegal aliens and ending the country-caps in the U.S. legal immigration system. the policy brief states:

It is unacceptable to have over 11 million people living illegally in America. But mass deportation is unacceptable too — both morally and logistically. Unauthorized immigrants living the U.S. should be brought out of the shadows and offered a long and rigorous road toward citizenship that depends on maintaining clean criminal records, paying taxes, and meeting several other requirements.

Bankrupt Sears wants to give executives $19 million in bonuses

NEW YORK (CNN Business) — Sears is seeking court approval to pay executives as much as $19 million in quarterly bonuses while the company struggles to restructure in bankruptcy.

Three top executives could get nearly $1 million each if the company goes out of business. If Sears remains in business, they could get nearly $500,000 each for hitting the top performance targets.

Sears filed two different types of bonus plans in bankruptcy court Thursday. The first is for the top 18 "key" executives, who would collectively get as much as $2.1 million per quarter. The bonuses would only be paid in full if Sears reaches its cash-flow targets. Sears Holdings, which includes both Sears and Kmart, has been burning through cash at a rate of about $125 million a month.

A second retention bonus plan was designed to encourage 322 other unnamed executives to stay put during Sears' reorganization. They would collectively get $16.9 million a quarter, which works out to an average of about $52,000 per quarter per executive. No executive could receive more the $150,000 in bonuses for staying with the company during the bankruptcy process.

A judge's approval is needed before the bonuses could be paid. A hearing on the plans is set for Dec. 20.

University mandates 'all students' take 'diversity and inclusion' courses

Georgia Southern University will mandate that "all students" take "diversity and inclusion" courses.

Under the new curriculum, all first and second-year students will be required to take the yet-to-be-announced courses, according to the student newspaper The George-Anne. This move is a result of diversity and inclusion resolution, passed by the GSU Student Government Association.

GSU SGA Senator-at-Large Keyshawn Housey, members of the GSU National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and members of the National Pan-hellenic Council (NPHC), a collaborative organization of African American fraternities and sororities, authored the resolution.

“There is a lack of civil discourse about race, diversity, and inclusion due to a fear of backlash among faculty, staff, and students on this campus,” the resolution states, going on to put the school's demographic makeup into context.

“College is already expensive and stressful,” GSU sophomore Matthew Frost told Campus Reform. "I can’t continue to pay for additional courses and spend valuable time sitting through courses where a professor is teaching people how to ‘be kind’ to each other. Parents should be teaching that at home, for free.”

Another 3,300 Caravan Migrants Arrive in Tijuana, Says Mexico

Nearly 3,300 additional Central American caravan migrants arrived at the Mexican northern border city of Tijuana on Saturday, authorities in Mexico stated.

Approximately 3,292 migrants are expected to arrive in the border city of Tijuana today according to the El Instituto Nacional de Migración known as INM according to local media reports. These are in addition to those previously reported arrivals.

The Honduran ambassador to Mexico, Alden Rivera has been monitoring the caravan’s travels through Mexico and said that approximately 5,500 were from his country. He advised that several of his countrymen were suffering from respiratory infections.

Breitbart Texas reported on the movement of this migrant caravan which involved transportation provided by buses being escorted by state and federal police. Breitbart Texas has also reported that Mexican citizens began protesting the migrant caravan’s arrival in Tijuana. These protests turned violent, leading law enforcement to separate the migrants from the demonstrators.

Local law enforcement sources said many in the caravan are reporting that they were not told when they left central America that they would be encountering problems in crossing into the United States. This was also reported by local media outlet El Universal.

“It’s your right to go to the U.S.,” Milton Benitez, a political analyst and sociologist who hosts the Honduran TV show “El Perro Amarillo,” implored the impassioned crowd.

In a scene not unlike when a coach rallies his players before a big game, the Honduran media figure pressed the encircling migrants on the night of Nov. 7 not to give up on their “mission” to achieve the U.S. border.

“We’re here for lack of work,” said Gabriella, who asked that her last name not be published.

Like many others, she hasn’t taken up Mexico on its offer of asylum, choosing instead to keep heading northward to the U.S. border.

The five caravans highlight an unprecedented uptick in frequency and size from the normal flow of Central American migrants, experts say, potentially heralding a new era of larger, more frequent, and better organized caravans that could test U.S. immigration laws and strain the U.S.-Mexico relationship.

“These caravans are very well orchestrated,” said one Mexican official, who asked not to be named. “We’ve seen signals that there is money. The signals are different from the typical flow of migrants.”

A Voluntary Civic Oath May Keep Our Society Both Civil and Free

Few of these protesters fear any legal consequences when they violate the law. Nor do those who disrupt public officials at restaurants, stalk them on their way to work, or post their private information on the internet.

Yet most Americans are tired of hearing the lame excuses that the protesters’ supposedly noble ends justify their unethical or illegal means to achieve them.

On the other hand, the public does not wish to curb free speech or our First Amendment rights of expression. Journalists certainly have the right to unprofessionally lecture and sermonize instead of just posing questions to public officials. But they still set a poor example of journalistic behavior and disinterested reporting while confirming the public’s low esteem for their entire profession.

Most people do not believe that the overseers of Facebook, Google, and Twitter possess either the wisdom or the ethics to censor the sort of social media that most people find objectionable. Yet the pubic tires of the anonymous hit men on social media who post vicious lies to ruin the reputations of their perceived enemies.

The trick, then, is to distinguish between illegal behavior (which should be prosecuted) and improper behavior (which should be shamed).

Lawbreakers can be arrested and prosecuted to deter illegality. But are there any consequences when journalists and TV hosts compare the president to a mass-murdering Hitler, resort to scatology on the air, or traffic in fake news?

Cutting razor wire, caravan migrants make a new case for a border wall

After a big public relations buildup about razor wire being installed at the border to keep illegal migrants out, caravan migrants are at it again, this time cutting the newly installed razor wire:

Customs and Border Patrol has a video of the crime in San Diego.

There's video of another one at the the border in Arizona. Both happened on the exact same day, Nov. 14.

Obviously, it's coordinated, and by a very canny organized group (cartels?) that wants to send a message to the U.S. that its border efforts are useless. Tactically, it's striking first and striking hard, right there with the cameras rolling, which it obviously wants. Once the razor wires are cut, the migrants, who contrary to the television news photos are not mostly moms and toddlers, but unemployed military aged males, will climb the fence again, hop over unencumbered to the other side, take up residence as illegal immigrants with all their legal protections and left-wing lawyer advocates, and humiliate President Trump in his bid to gain control of the U.S. border. And the razor wire cutting suggests they intend to do it anytime they like.

Message: Resistance is futile.

Researchers say Facebook can cause depression

Spending too much time on “social media” sites like Facebook is making people more than just miserable. It may also be making them depressed.

A new study conducted by psychologists at the University of Pennsylvania has shown — for the first time — a causal link between time spent on social media and depression and loneliness, the researchers said.

It concluded that those who drastically cut back their use of sites like Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat often saw a marked improvement in their mood and in how they felt about their lives.

“It was striking,” says Melissa Hunt, psychology professor at University of Pennsylvania, who led the study. “What we found over the course of three weeks was that rates of depression and loneliness went down significantly for people who limited their (social media) use.”

Trump Administration Revising Rule That Allows States to Circumvent SNAP Work Requirement

The Trump administration is revising a 22-year-old federal regulation that has enabled states, with the help of a left-wing political organization, to acquire waivers exempting able-bodied adults without dependents (ABWDs) from having to work or undergo job training to receive taxpayer-funded benefits such as food stamps.

Reforming the rule will reduce the taxpayer burden and enable more individuals to move from federal dependency to self-sufficiency, according to the administration.

During a Congressional hearing addressing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) fraud earlier this year, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, asked the politically left advocacy organization, the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP), why it was working with state agencies to seek work requirement waivers for large geographical regions in state with low unemployment.

Stacy Dean, a CBPP vice president, said at the Subcommittee on Healthcare, Benefits, and Administrative Rules hearing that CBPP "has been working with states on this issue since the rule's passage in 1996 and has significant experience on waiver eligibility criteria."

After Winning Election, Democrat Ilhan Omar Now Says She 'Supports BDS Movement'

Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar came out against the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement during her campaign, but after winning election, she now says she "supports the BDS movement."

Omar, a Muslim Somali-American elected last week to replace outgoing Rep. Keith Ellison (D., Minn.) in the House, fought accusations that she held anti-Israel views during her campaign. As part of that effort, she told a group of Jewish voters in the state that she opposed the economic boycott of Israel, calling it "counteractive" and "not helpful in getting that two-state solution."

But Omar's tune has changed since winning the election. In an interview published Sunday byMuslimGirl, Omar said she "supports the BDS movement."

"Ilhan believes in and supports the BDS movement, and has fought to make sure people’s right to support it isn’t criminalized," her campaign told MuslimGirl, which said Omar had been criticized for coming out against BDS. Omar's campaign also pointed MuslimGirl to her vote against an anti-BDS bill in Minnesota's state legislature and her argument that boycott movements were successful in South Africa.

The comment is seen as a complete reversal by members of the Jewish community in her district.
