Several police officers were allegedly attacked by people at an underage drinking party they were trying to break up early Sunday.
It happened in Damascus, where officers from the Montgomery County Police Department's Holiday Season Task Force went to a house on Damascus Road just before midnight Saturday after receiving a report of a party in progress. Police say they found several underage people with alcohol in the backyard and an estimated 35 more in the house.
According to a statement from the police, the homeowners wouldn't let the officers in and several party-goers slammed a basement door on the arms of an officer during a struggle over some cases of beer. Meanwhile, according to the police, the homeowners assaulted two officers who were trying to enter the house while party-goers banged on the windows and shouted obscenities at the police.

Should have blasted the little ba$tards with the shot gun...
The cops must have forgotten to take their Voter Registration Forms for the young'uns to sign; that way the kids would know for sure they were being served by a legitimate government agency.

Sounds like Hazel St. here last spring.
Excellent work PD, don't be afraid to defend yourselves.
I say good reason to open fire. Their lives were threatened.
Don't try "barging into the house", LOOKING for crime. Get a warrant. Tell the homeowner the party is disrupting the neighborhood and give them a chance to rectify it before you start kicking ace.
Of course, when people have to deal with the "Holiday Task Force" (wtf??) they can expect some strong-arm, prepped for some violence, WE ARE THE POLICE!! Gestapo tactics.
Some people don't know how to properly respond to a home invasion.
