Fabricating Hate Crimes Is a Byproduct of Victimhood Ideology on College Campuses

Anna Ayers, a student government leader at Ohio University, reported finding threatening messages in the drawer of her desk a few weeks ago.

Ayers, an LGBT student, said the three notes were “hateful, harassing,”according to The Post Athens, a student-run news outlet, and made specific attacks on her sexual identity.

“Senate will never be the same for me,” Ayers told The Post of the notes, the first of which she said appeared Sept. 27 in her desk at the Student Senate. “The friendships will continue to grow, and our successes will always evoke pride, but the memory of my time in senate and at OU will be marred by this experience. We will all have a memory of a time when this body failed one of its own.”

The incident caused a stir on campus. The problem was, that stir was based on a lie.

Police quickly concluded that no hate crime had taken place, and that Ayers actually had written the notes to herself.

Mob Rule or the Rule of Law? Lindsey Graham Says America's Future Is at Stake

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., spoke to The Daily Signal this week about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and the left’s embrace of mob rule. He also addressed the disappearance of Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi and Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s DNA test results. An edited transcript of the interview is below. Full audio of the interview is available on The Daily Signal Podcast.

Bluey: You are here at The Heritage Foundation’s President’s Club meeting to talk about Justice [Brett] Kavanaugh. During the Judiciary Committee hearings, you made some passionate remarks when he was defending himself. Many people felt he wasn’t afforded due process. He was presumed guilty. What prompted you to speak so passionately?

Lindsey Graham: He was being humiliated. I voted for [Sonia] Sotomayor and [Elena] Kagan because I thought they were qualified. It used to be that way. [Former Sen.] Strom Thurmond voted for [Ruth Bader] Ginsburg. [Former Sen.] Fritz Hollings voted for [Antonin] Scalia. That’s the way it used to be, so obviously things have changed now.

What got me going so much is that I’ve known Brett for 20 years. We’re not close friends, but we’re friendly. I worked with him in the Bush White House. He’s the cream of the crop judicially. You want to reward President Trump when he makes a good decision. He could not have chosen better, and what I saw was an effort to humiliate a guy who didn’t deserve it. I can’t imagine me doing that to Sotomayor and Kagan.

What got me the most was, “If you’re really innocent, turn to Don McGahn and ask to continue the FBI investigation of your life, and keep ruining your own family.” Dr. [Christine Blasey] Ford was listened to respectfully. I think something happened to her, but I don’t think Kavanaugh had anything to do with it. It was just an effort to destroy a good man for political purposes, and I hope it backfires on them.

Daily Beast: "Dear God, Hillary Clinton. Please, Just Go."

As fresh rumors swirl around a potential Hillary Clinton 2020 campaign, Democrats have a clear message for the twice-failed presidential candidate; you're not helping, please go away, right now.

In an Op-Ed that can best be described as savage, the Daily Beast's Liz Mair makes the case that the "zombie" Clintons have risen from their political graves to reinsert themselves into the national dialogue at exactly the wrong time, as they sashay across the country on a 13-city speaking tour ahead of the most crucial midterm elections in recent history.

The Clintons, it seems, can’t seem to call it quits, even if it means leaving members of their own party cringing and many more voters ready to “headdesk” themselves into a coma.

This time, it’s happening courtesy of a pay-through-the-nose-to-see-them rehab tour. Because if there’s one thing America hasn’t had enough of over recent decades, it’s efforts by the Clintons to recast themselves as normal, likeable people, as they cash checks and play the victim.

It gets better...

Mair reduces Hillary's tenure as Secretary of State, two Senate runs and two presidential runs as "either an attempt to show independence from her husband or to be compensated for his myriad screw ups."She then bemoans the fact that Hillary's latest screw up resulted in "Donald Freaking Trump, the most flawed candidate Republicans could conceivably have run in 2016."

Delusional Hillary

"Hillary remains caught up in the delusion that the only reason she lost in 2016 was because of Russian interference," writes Mair, adding "She does not seem to have fully processed the fact that she lost the electoral college, the only vote that counts. She touts the fact that she got nearly three million more votes than Trump while conveniently leaving out that her tally of the vote still fell well below 50 percent."

Fiasco: Heitkamp Ad Apologizing For Misidentifying And Outing Sexual Assault Survivors May Have Violated FEC Regs

Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) might have ended her chances at re-election, which were already becoming dim as we approach Election Day. She’s trailing her Republican opponent, Rep. Kevin Cramer, by nearly double-digits. During the vicious battle over the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, Cramer made some controversial remarks on the Hill. Heitkamp saw an opening for an attack, and she fumbled—badly. Her campaign published a newspaper ad, in which an open letter listed survivors of sexual assault, but scores of these women did not authorize their names to be used—and some of the women named weren’t sexually assaulted (via AP):

Sen. Heidi Heitkamp apologized Tuesday for misidentifying victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and rape who were listed in a recent North Dakota newspaper ad aimed at her opponent.

The Democrat, who is facing a tough race for re-election, said in a statement that she had recently learned that several of the women named in the ad either hadn’t authorized it or are not survivors of abuse.

“This was incompetent. It was wrong. It should have never happened,” Heitkamp told Rob Port, a conservative blogger and frequent Heitkamp critic on his radio talk show Tuesday. “It was a very flagrant error of the campaign and I own it.”

The Next Flu Explosion: Rise In Obesity And Diabetes Will Exacerbate Future Pandemics

Scientists involved in a new study published this month in the research journal, Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology, have sounded the alarm over their ability to contain future flu pandemics in relation to the rise of obesity especially in the West today.

The study finds that growth rates in obesity and diabetes, along with populations which are increasingly resistant to antibiotics, could turn even a mild flu outbreak into an explosive global pandemic.
Image source: Getty via ABC News

One of the authors of the study, Dr Kirsty Short, virologist at the University of Queensland, told The Telegraph of the link between obesity and spread of dangerous diseases: “There’s been an incredible rate of increase of diabetes and obesity even in my lifetime.” She explained: “This has significant implications on infectious diseases and the spread of infectious disease.”

Dr. Short continued, "But because chronic diseases have risen in frequency in such a short period of time, we’re only starting to appreciate all of the consequences."

Reflecting on the now century old Spanish Influenza pandemic of 1918, which infected a third of the global population and is estimated to have killed between 50 and 100 million people, she said of the next big outbreak, “we know that there will be one”.

Cannabis Price Collapse Putting Billions in Consumers’ Pockets

Wholesale cannabis prices could hit as low as $30 an ounce in some parts of the country by Christmas as another record crop of outdoor cannabis floods markets and sinks prices.

For example, the legal recreational market in Oregon continues to drown in a multi-year surplus. Oregon produced 10 times the cannabis it needs each year, and approximately 825,000 pounds of unsold dried wholesale flower now sits in the state’s tracking system, says Jonathan Rubin, CEO of Cannabis Benchmarks, which tracks wholesale prices.

“Prices are the lowest we have tracked and now we have the fall harvest coming in,” Rubin said. “Over the coming months, we anticipate for prices to decline with outdoor, sun-grown flowers.”

Eric Holder Rallies Resistance Inside Trump Admin: 'We Support You'

Former Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. sent a message of encouragement to discontented Justice Department “career employees” on Friday morning.

“Trump and Sessions are trying to destroy the traditions of the Justice Department,” Holder wrote. “Hope is found in the career employees who stand for institutional norms. Now is the time for them to continue to be strong – change will come. We support you.” Holder recently made news by pressing for the impeachment of President Trump under the 25th amendment.

His message was a response to a report by the New York Times entitled “Justice Dept. Rank-and-File Tell of Discontent Over Sessions’s Approach,” compiling information and opinions gathered from “two dozen current and former career department lawyers who worked under Mr. Sessions.”

President Donald Trump placed the Medal of Honor around the neck of retired Sgt. Maj. John Canley on Wednesday. But, for the Vietnam War hero, it has always been about his Marines.

On Jan. 31, 1968, Canley and about 140 members of Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, were charged with taking back Hue City at the start of the Tet Offensive. When their commanding officer was seriously injured, Canley, the company gunnery sergeant at the time, took control and led his men through what would become one of the bloodiest battles during the Vietnam War.

Armed Neighbor Kills Suspect Allegedly Assaulting Mother and Daughter

An armed neighbor in Clarksville, Indiana, intervened Tuesday night and killed a man who was allegedly assaulting a mother and her daughter.

Wave 3 reports that the incident occurred at approximately 10 pm. Police indicate a man was allegedly “beating a woman and her young daughter when a neighbor attempted to break up the fight.” The neighbor approached the alleged attacker at gunpoint and ordered him to stop. The attacker complied for a time then allegedly attempted to attack the neighbor, at which point, the neighbor shot him dead.

According to WDRB, Clarksville Police Chief Mark Palmer indicates that witnesses said the suspect had “battered” the young daughter and that he was allegedly “kicking and beating the woman” when the neighbor stepped in.

Keith Ellison Faces 12-Point Shift In Latest Poll

Minnesota Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison is sitting behind his Republican opponent Doug Wardlow for attorney general by a 7-point margin, just less than two weeks before the Nov. 6 midterm elections.

Ellison, who also serves as deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee, sits at 36 percent compared to Wardlow’s 43 percent, according to a Star Tribune/Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) poll released Tuesday. This comes as Ellison led Wardlow by around five points as of Sept. 19, according to an earlier Star Tribune/MPR poll, meaning there was a 12-point shift in just over a month.

The shift in polling comes as Ellison faced sexual abuse allegations from his ex-girlfriend Karen Monahan. Monahan claims Ellison physically and emotionally abused her.

Wardlow released an old Facebook post on Oct. 15 from a member of Minnesota’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party who said Republicans should be taken “to the guillotines” after the November midterm elections. The member was later suspended. Wardlow attacked Ellison after the post resurfaced, saying it is Ellison who employs such people.

Kindergartner parties alone after no one shows up to birthday bash

Even free pizza couldn’t attract any pint-size partygoers for a 6-year-old’s birthday.

An Arizona mom says none of her son’s kindergarten friends showed up to his birthday party — after she sent 32 invitations to his classmates.

The boy, Teddy, held a birthday bash on Sunday at Peter Piper Pizza in Tucson, where he and his mother, Sil Mazzini, had been expecting dozens of little girls and boys — as well as the children’s parents — to join them at the restaurant. Mazzini said a few people told her in advance that they couldn’t make it, but she wasn’t prepared for everyone to be no-shows.

“I’m done with parties for a while,” Mazzini told KNXV.

Feeling Good: Senate Republicans Confident They'll Clinch 55 Seats Heading Into The Next Congress

Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) must be feeling good. After the vicious fight over Judge Brett Kavanaugh, who was confirmed to the Supreme Court earlier this month, the GOP finally got the levels of engagement Republicans had been hoping for this midterm cycle. The Democrats lobbed a last minute Hail Mary at the nomination, dredging up baseless and unsubstantiated sexual misconduct allegations from three women, who couldn’t remember key details, one of which wasn’t even sure if Kavanaugh was present at a college party where he allegedly exposed himself. Everything was hurled against the wall at this man. These shoddy allegations, he drank beer…in college (the horror!), his temperament, and a host of extraneous criticisms.

For me, part of the Left’s opposition was that they couldn’t stand another conservative Irish Catholic on the bench, so the ugly stereotypes of old (i.e., he’s a raging sexually abusive alcoholic) reared its ugly head. Either way, conservatives, especially Republican women, were furious at this character assassination attempt. As for his temperament, how would you feel if someone with no evidence accused you of being part of a gang rape ring? Rest assured for whomever the Democrats nominate to the Court, we’ll be waiting in the tall grass, ready to get our scalp—and we should. I would like to thank the Democrats once again for establishing this precedent. It’s war, but back to the 2018 Senate elections.

Gardner and the National Republican Senatorial Committee must have some solid internals because they’re predicting an increased Senate majority of 55 seats heading into the next Congress. Virtually, all the red state Democrats, except for Manchin in West Virginia and Jon Tester in Montana, are expected to be picked off, with Marsha Blackburn, Dean Heller, and Martha McSally holding the line in Tennessee, Nevada, and Arizona respectively.

The Dems October Surprise May be on Them

If we learned anything from the Kavanaugh smear and the endless Russia collusion investigation, it’s that just as Islam is a political system masquerading as a religion, Democratic Party ideals are a religion masquerading as a political system.

What they tried to do to Kavanaugh in declaring him a rapist with an absolute lack of evidence, has shown Americans that they do not care who gets hurt in their pursuit of power. How many male voters thought, “That could be me.” How many women voters thought, “That could be my husband; that could be my son.”

Yet Kavanaugh is merely the most egregious of their missteps. Almost everything the Democrats have done since January 20, 2017, has only served to hurt their chances for the “blue wave.” They took what up until recently seemed to be a sure-thing election sweeping Democrats into control of the House and the Senate and threw it away.

With Kavanaugh, the unhinged protests, and now, all the violence the left perpetrates on a daily basis -- the only thing they have accomplished with their bad behavior is to take Robert Mueller and his “witch hunt” off the front pages and make it impossible for him to release any report or announce more indictments of foreigners or tertiary Trump associates before election day. The people will see that for what it would be, a purely political stunt to hurt the president and Republicans.

Announcing that their plans, should they win control of the House, would be to impeach Trump and Kavanaugh is another faux pas. Americans like fair play. The investigation of Trump has been going on for two years and they have nothing. It’s kind of like Al Gore’s strategy in 2000: “We count until I win!”

Attorney General Frosh Urges CFPB to Protect Military Servicemembers from Financial Exploitation

BALTIMORE, MD – Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh today joined a bipartisan coalition of 33 attorneys general calling on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and Acting Director Mick Mulvaney to continue protecting military servicemembers against predatory lenders under the Military Lending Act (MLA). The attorneys general urge the CFPB to reconsider its reported decision to stop examining lenders to ensure they are complying with the MLA.

“Director Mulvaney’s refusal to ensure lenders are complying with the MLA puts our military members and their families at unnecessary financial risk,” said Attorney General Frosh. “The CFPB should do its job and protect those who protect our country. My office will vigorously enforce consumer protection laws, including those protecting military families from extortionist or predatory loans.”

That weird silence you get from the Democrats on the Honduras caravan

As television screens fill up with images of the 7,000- to 10,000-strong Honduran migrant army snaking its way up through the belly of Mexico, and President Trump issues warnings that they not cross into the U.S., one group of people, well known for otherwise enjoying grandstanding, has been weirdly silent: Democrats. Fox News has certainly noticed:

Democrats appear to be remaining silent on the issue of the caravan of thousands of immigrants on the march from Central America and unwilling to get into a public debate with President Trump since the midterms are just weeks away.

Where's Sen. Chuck Schumer to weep some blubbery tears for the migrants? Where's House minority leader Nancy Pelosi to fill us in on the state of their souls? Where's the phony rhetoric from ex-president Obama about unskilled, illiterate, and non-English-speaking aliens being an "asset" to our country instead of a drain on its finances? Where's Sen. Bernie Sanders advising us they'll be great socialist voters? Where's Hillary Clinton to tell us they "are citizens" or something of that sort? Where's Rep. Luís Gutiérrez to blame America for the whole thing? Where's Kamala Harris with her love for the cameras?

Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

Maryland School cancels production of 'Aladdin, Jr.' for complaints of stereotyping Arab culture

CATONSVILLE, Md. — A Baltimore County elementary school has stopped plans for a school play because of complaints of negative stereotyping of Arab culture.

The drama club at Westowne Elementary School was planning to perform Disney's "Aladdin Jr." next year. Students auditioned for the play last month and it was due to go on in February. The play is adapted from the popular 1992 Disney film "Aladdin."

The school held a meeting Monday night explaining the decision to cancel it. Some parents agree. Others don't.

One parent, Danette Zaghari-Mask, said her fourth grade son came home upset and humiliated.

"In the play, Arabs are described as barbaric -- those are the exact words that are used. And the actual play was very controversial apparently in the early '90s," Zaghari-Mask said.

Her son decided to drop out of the play, but she also decided to speak out. She's an attorney with the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

The outbreak was reported days after inspectors found 'minor handwashing deficiencies' at the facility, which houses elderly people and children.

Adenoviruses usually cause mild illnesses, but health officials say that outbreak is 'severe' because of the infected children's weakened immune systems.

According to a statement from the Department of Health, the Wanaque Center 'has been instructed not to admit any new patients until the outbreak ends and they are in full compliance.'

The Five Keys to Surviving Attacks from a Social Media Mob

As someone who first started doing political blogging in 2001, I can tell you that there was once a time when the chances of a regular person being cut to ribbons online for a faux pas were practically zero. As someone who has been deluged with negative comments after building a top 10,000 in the world website, has received numerous death threats and quasi-death threats (i.e. “Someone should slit your throat), has been doxed, has been the target of hit pieces in BuzzFeed and the New York Times, and has literally had thousands of negative tweets aimed at him in a few hours’ time, I can tell you it is no longer like that. YOU, yes you reading this piece, may one day be in the crosshairs of a social media mob because of something you do or say on social media. So, what do you do when it happens?

1. Don’t apologize to the mob

I believe in apologies so much that there’s a chapter in my book 101 Things All Young Adults Should Know that talks about the importance of being willing to say you’re sorry when you mess up. Of course, that’s with your friends, your family, your co-workers, or maybe the person whose shoe you accidentally stepped on.

When social media mobs start yowling for blood because they don’t like a joke you told or they’re offended by some common sentiment you utter, the first thought you may have is, “If I apologize, maybe all of this will go away.” Unfortunately, that is not how it works. To the contrary, an apology is taken as an admission of guilt and evidence that their pressure is working. It’s not about getting an apology for these people; it’s about people with meaningless lives getting a sense of accomplishment by punishing you. Don’t give them the satisfaction. The people who do the best in these situations are inevitably the ones who don’t apologize, aren’t ashamed, and don’t back up one inch.

2. Be prepared to take some losses

Long, But Worth Reading...

Jeff Ditzenberger
October 21 at 9:03 PM ·

Today is a day I'll not soon forget..

As I was combining today, I was unloading into the auger cart and I saw a vehicle go by a couple times slowly and then pull over and stop. I had a minor repair to make and the vehicle stayed... I was a little concerned until I happened to catch 3 little sets of eyes looking out windows.

I went over and they rolled down the window and I asked if they needed anything and the lady explained their grandchildren were visiting from Florida and had never seen "farmer stuff" up close. There were 2 boys and a little girl.. I'd assume they were between the ages of 6 and 9. The two boys were all giddy but the little girl, while sweet and excited was pretty quiet.

I also happen to notice that she kept turning away from me and there was a scar or a birthmark or something on her face... And I felt really bad trying to figure out what it was because I was feeling like I'm staring at her..

The grandmother and her husband thanked me for stopping and saying hi and said they would get going because they knew farmers were busy this time of the year... And I said be careful and have a good trip...

It was then that one of the boys said are you going to be going soon cuz we would like to see what that machine does... the grandmother quickly quieted them and I said would it be okay if I took them for a ride...

She then said No we're sure your way too busy for that and I said no I'm by myself for now I've got time so she asked the two boys if they wanted to go and of course they did but the little girl stayed back.

I asked her again if she wanted to go and she said no thank you and so the boys and I went and got in the combine and we made one round and came back... While in the combine I said why didn't your sister want to come... they said shes shy. I then, because of curiosity, asked them about her face... And they told me it was a birthmark and that she gets picked on about it a lot.

OPINION: Migrant Caravan Group Linked To Democrat Donors, Government Bureaucrats

While U.S. media attention has, for a second time in a year, turned to a massive migrant “caravan” curiously timed to arrive on the United States border just ahead of the contentious midterm elections, very few so-called journalists have bothered to report on the organizers of said caravan, its organizers, and their decades-long history.

After doing some investigative work, it can now be revealed that the Pueblos Sin Frontera(People Without Borders/PSF) — the group that organized a caravan back in April — has a track record of links with the international Quaker movement, historical Democratic Party donors, U.S. government bureaucrats, and perhaps even a senior Mexican diplomat.

In order to understand the nature of this “refugee” caravan, we have to consider first that groups like PSF and their sister organizations like the Casa de los Amigos and the Popular Assembly of Migrant Families (APOFAM) have long been involved in advocacy surrounding the destruction of U.S. borders.

As far back as 1939, U.S.-based organizations like the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), which still lists the Casa de los Amigos on its website, were plowing money into the Casa de los Amigos that now provides offices to APOFAM in Mexico.

October Auto Sales Tumble: "Our Car Sales Are Down 12 Percent"

The downward spiral in the US auto industry is accelerating, and there may be no improvement anytime soon.

According to a new report by CNBC, October is shaping up to be another terrible month for the industry, after an already abysmal September, as auto dealers around the country have been plagued by marked drops in retail sales and customer traffic in their showrooms.

Scott Adams, the owner of a Toyota dealership in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, told CNBC: “We are definitely seeing business pull back. September was off some, but this month our car sales are down 12 percent and our truck sales are down 23 percent." The report notes that the drop in sales was most pronounced last weekend.

Another dealer in Tampa Bay, Florida said that sales this month were down 13%. Mark Scarpelli, president of Raymond Chevrolet and Kia in Antioch, Illinois stated that "Customer traffic has moderated. There is a little bit more of a pause because of the higher interest rates." He said that although sales are keeping pace with the prior year, people are taking longer to buy.

Recall that in September, the average new car loan jumped $724 year-over-year to $30,958 in Q2 2018, while used vehicle loan amounts increased $520 to reach $19,708, both records.

The American Legion Is Asking The Supreme Court To Protect A Cross-Shaped War Memorial

The American Legion and a Maryland planning commission are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to protect a cross-shaped World War I memorial, after the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found the monument violates the Constitution.

Supporters of the petition say the 4th Circuit’s decision compromises war memorials across the country, including those at Arlington National Cemetery. Should the high court take the case, it would likely mark the new conservative majority’s first foray into the culture wars.

The American Legion erected a 40-foot tall memorial called the “Peace Cross” in Bladensburg, Maryland, in 1925. A plaque at the base of the monument lists the 49 war dead of Prince George’s County and a quotation from President Woodrow Wilson. The crux of the cross is emblazoned with the seal of the Legion, and the words “valor, endurance, courage, and devotion” appear on each face.

In the years following its installation, other memorials to county veterans were raised in the Peace Cross’s vicinity. That collection of statuary has since been designated Veterans Memorial Park.

Hillary 2020: Top Aide Leaves Door Open For Third Presidential Run

Hillary Clinton is giving signs that she is seriously mulling another run for the White House, and a top aide and ally is not dissuading people from believing just that.

Clinton has been communicating with reporters covering the White House, having convinced herself her sour relationship with the press sabotaged her 2016 presidential effort, according to Politico, which reports that after President Trump criticized ABC News’ Cecilia Vega at a news conference, Clinton left a voicemail for Vega.

Clinton penned a new afterword for her book “What Happened” that includes her current attempts to frame Trump’s actions as an “assault on our democracy.” Cleaning up the mess left by her husband’s sexual behavior in the wake if the #MeToo movement, she insisted last week that his affair with aide Monica Lewinsky was not an abuse of power because Lewinsky was an “adult.”

Advocates of Male-or-Female Identity Cheer Proposed End of Obama's Transgender Ideology

Americans who recognize the central role played by biology in shaping human needs and desires are applauding a report by the New York Times that the administration will roll back President Barack Obama’s establishment of the transgender ideology.

“It is high time that governmental agencies at the national and local levels return to valid science which reveals that there are two biologic sexes, and only two: male and female,” said Dr. Quentin Van Meter, president of the American College of Pediatricians.

“President [Donald] Trump’s commonsense decision to recognize gender as a biologically defined, immutable aspect of human nature” should be welcomed, said Arthur Schaper, organization director of MassResistance and state director of California MassResistance.

The Democrats' 2020 Platform: Free Everything For Everybody!

Kamala Harris has a new plan to give away "free" cash.

The Democrats have a whole new plan to win the White House in 2020: Free money for everybody.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermontistan) has a plan to give college tuition to all students for "free" — if by free he means $75 billion in taxpayer cash. Then again, Sanders supports a 90% tax bracket and redistribution of wealth, just like Robin Hood.

Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the 28-year-old former bartender who's the darling of the mainstream media and touted by Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez as the “future of our party" — has a plan for free health care for everyone.

Trump's Deputies Are Ending Obama-Created Outsourcing Program

President Donald Trump’s deputies have announced they will soon cancel the work permits which were awarded to 100,000 foreign visitors under a controversial outsourcing program created by President Barack Obama.

The planned November announcement of the cancellation will be a boost to millions of U.S. professionals — young and old — who lose opportunities, jobs, and salaries to the many visa-workers imported by companies and investors.

Many U.S. graduates have already lost jobs and salaries because the federal government allows U.S. companies to outsource their jobs to a low-wage workforce of roughly 1.5 million imported college-graduates. The foreign workers — nearly all of whom are Indian or Chinese — get their work permits via several visa programs, including the H-1B and L-1 visa programs.

Migrant Declares That Trump Is "The Antichrist" As Caravan Swells To 14,000 People

With midterm elections just two weeks away, it is the massive caravan of migrants currently headed toward the U.S. border that is garnering most of the top headlines, with their arrival on the US border seemingly well-timed to coincide with Americans going to the polls.

President Trump had been hoping that this caravan would be stopped at Mexico’s southern border, but that did not happen, and now it appears that we could be looking at a major international incident along the U.S. border with Mexico not many days from now. As you will see below, it is being reported that the population of “the caravan” has grown to 14,000 people, and many of them are extremely angry with Donald Trump.

The Mexicans had closed their border with Guatemala as “the caravan” approached, but migrants started using boats to cross into Mexico and the Mexican police failed to stop them.

Now the caravan is steamrolling north, and one Mexican newspaper is reporting that the number of people involved has grown to 14,000

Mexican police, who failed to stop them at that country’s border with Guatemala, now serve as escorts for the caravan as it barrels north, its members clear that they have no intention of staying in Mexico, and have eyes only for the U.S.

New estimates cited by El Universal, a Mexican newspaper, say the caravan now has 14,000 people, many of them already in Mexico while others still wait.

If that number is accurate, that means that the number of migrants has doubled, and it will likely grow even more as the caravan travels northward through Mexico.

Trump Judges and Justice Department Reject School Racial Preferences

“For every person you ‘help’ due to race, you necessarily hurt another person due to race,” Trump-appointed Judge James Ho recently explained in a Louisiana case, as the president’s Justice Department also fights Harvard’s discrimination in Massachusetts against Asian Americans.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit decided an appeal on Oct. 12 affirming that a charter school was bound by a consent decree that it voluntarily adopted as a condition to operate in Concordia Parish in Louisiana. In 1971, a federal court held that the public school district in that parish (which is Louisiana’s version of a county) engaged in unconstitutional racial discrimination, and Delta Charter Group assented to abide by the desegregation consent decree that constrains the public schools there.

Major issues in the current case were remanded back to the federal trial court for further proceedings and legal analysis, but during this first round of appeals, the New Orleans-based appeals court held that if a private school agrees to be bound by a consent decree that controls the public-school district with jurisdiction in that area, then courts should give effect to that decree.

Please Virginia, don't put a wild anti-Israel conspiracy theorist in Congress

Leslie Cockburn, journalist turned congressional frontrunner, is leading the race for the seat in Virginia’s 5th District, running on the Democratic ticket against Republican Denver Riggleman. Although the district has prevailed as a Republican one for 16 of the past 18 years, Cockburn is poised to take it back with the upcoming election result.

Yet Cockburn’s political affiliation isn’t the issue with her campaign. Rather it’s her hatred for the state of Israel and her anti-Semitic tendencies — displaying her genuine temperament, as someone with vile views that run counter to American democratic values.

In 1991, Cockburn co-authored a book over 400 pages long with her husband, Andrew Cockburn, called Dangerous Liaison: The Inside Story of the U.S.-Israeli Covert Relationship. The book’s contents are heavily conspiratorial, making outlandish claims against the Jewish Diaspora, Israeli democracy, and the United States — likely the most egregious given that only two-and-a-half decades later, she is campaigning to be a part of the "colluding machine" that is the United States government.

ACLU joins students’ fight against summer school fees in Prince George’s County

WASHINGTON — Maryland’s Prince George’s County Public Schools may soon find itself in a court battle over summer school fees that the ACLU says have prevented some students from graduating.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland is joining four students who are taking on the Prince George’s County school system, insisting all summer school fees be waived.

The students are appealing summer school tuition fees for required courses like English and math, with classes costing families up to $455 each. According to the ACLU, the fees are not only a burden for families, but a violation of Maryland’s constitution.

“Maryland’s Constitution promises all families a free public education for their children,” said Deborah Jeon, legal director for the ACLU of Maryland.
