Michael "The Midnight Stalker" Walker

Excitement is on the rise as Delmarva eagerly anticipates NABO Champion Fernando Guerrero (17-0, 14 KOs) defending his belt against worthy adversary Michael "The Midnight Stalker" Walker (19-3-2, 12 KOs).

While a wide majority of you know the exploits of Guerrero, Walker might be a bit of a mystery. Tonight I'm going to let Mr. Walker do the talking with his fists via video. The short clip shows excerpts of three fights. Walker is in camo trunks in the first fight, white trunks with black trim in the second and camo again in the third. The clip is only one minute and forty-eight seconds with highlight reel quality ending.

Later this week look for my pre-fight analysis and prediction on the main event as well as the under card.

Sex Offenders Bill Appear Headed for Passage

Despite multiple attempts by Del. Joe Vallario (D) and Sen. Brian Frosh (D) to kill meaningful legislation to clamp down on child sex offenders, it appears that legislation will pass tonight.  After intense, personal lobbying by Jennifer Foxwell and Tracy Powell, SB 622 has passed.  The other bill has been melded into one of the governor’s bills, SB 854 and appears slated for passage tonight.

In Annapolis For The Day For Bills 622 & 254

Ladies & Gentlemen:

Today I will be in Annapolis for the day. With me will be Jennifer Foxwell, Tracy Powell, Sheriff Mike Lewis and States Attorney Davis Ruark.

There will be no comment moderation at all today. For those of you who will feel the need to go on the attack because I have mentioned Jennifer Foxwell will be present, know that I am personally driving Mrs. Foxwell and the two of us have put aside our differences for the betterment of her Daughter Sarah Foxwell.

Our goal, to get our Senators and Delegates to come to a resolution FOR THE ABUSED CHILDREN.

What's truly important here is NOT re-elections. I, (for one) believe you take a position in public office because you want to make a positive difference for your community, your state and provide the very best protection you can for those you represent.

The mere fact that ALL of the Maryland Senators are more concerned about voting against a bill because 5 years has been reduced, (in fear it can be used against them in a campaign) is just plain BS. The current legislation is 5 years. The Bill calls for 20 years and Saturday a compromise could have been reached at 15 years but our Senators don't want it on the record that they were willing to reduce a sex offender law by those 5 years.

Trust me on this one Folks, I am NOT happy with our Senators and tomorrow I will make my voice be heard throughout Annapolis to let each and every one of our representative know Joe Albero will not go away.

Now some of you may say, so what. Well, ask Barrie Tilghman, Mike Dunn, Lynn Cathcart, Chief Webster, David See and many others what it's like to be on the receiving end of Salisbury News. I can assure you of one thing, Valerio and Frosh will NEVER forget who Joe Albero is after today.

With tens of thousands of people visiting Salisbury News each and every day, I will make a difference within those who visit. If you have the chance to watch the news at 12:00 today as well as 6:00 & 11:00 PM, we will be holding a Press Conference at the foot of the steps at 9:30 AM this morning as well as 3:00 PM this afternoon.

We could be in Annapolis as late as 12:00 midnight and we will stay there until these Bills are passed and or rejected. My hope is that we will be back on line Tuesday morning and I appreciate every one's understanding as to why we will not be able to provide Posts during this time.

Have a great day Folks.
