Haunted Houses

"Hey Joe,

Some freinds and us want to go out to some haunted houses or a forest tonight. Is there any way you can ask on you site if there are any good ones around..."

Dont go to the one at the Twilley Center, it was a joke and a waste of 10 dollars. The magic guy that walks around out front was pretty cool but as far as the actualy haunted house, it sucked.

I have always enjoyed Parsonsburg's haunted forest and went to Sharptown's once and it was really good too.

The Parsonsburg Fire Company will be running the Haunted Hayride tonight and tomorrow night. The members there do a great job with this event every year. It should get underway about 7:00pm

I don't know about a haunted house or forest, but if you are looking to be absolutely terrified just check your 401K/retirement portfolio.

Parsonsburg Fire Department has a good one...

Also, if you are willing to travel I say go to Philadelphia to go to the Fear Factory, Bates Hotel, or Eastern State Penn. They are all 3 in the Top 10 in the best haunted attractions in the country.

The best one by far locally is the one in Eldorado, MD at Camp ESPA. It's right outside of Sharptown. Go over the Sharptown Bridge and keep straight. They have signs posted and usually they light it pretty well being a country road so people don't get lost.

There is one in Middletown De. It's called frightland and they have a website. My son went to the Bates hotel and didn't like it. He did however love frightland.
As far as local stuff the one in Parsonburg GREAT!

According to the website, the Parsonsburg Fire Dept has nothing scheduled for the haunted hayride and they were done with it last Sat. Has it been extended? I missed it and would love to go tomorrow night.

Now if you really, really want to go to a haunted house, you might try Poplar Hill Mansion, I see they are having a first time ghost tour (for adults only) on Halloween, and that place is definitely rumored to be haunted!

I liked the one @ the twilley center it might have not been the best but it was better than Parsonburg. Favorite parts was the spinning tunnel, the butcher shop and the magician

What about the Sharptown haunted House??

I mentioned the one in Eldorado you knucklehead. The one at the Laurel, DE Firehouse near the middle school, it is walk through one also which goes from the corn field into an actual house. I believe it's put together rather well

I might be biased, but the only way you won't be scared or at least entertained at Terror @ the Twilley Centre is if you are being pulled thru with your eyes closed!!!!!! Those guys work hard and do a great job night after night of scaring the CRAP out of people. Stand at the exit and talk to people coming out... they say its the best around.
