Salisbury Fire Equipment Destroying Draw Bridge?
Ever since the new Salisbury $10,000,000.00 Man Fire Station has been built, the Rt. 50 Draw Bridge has taken a beating, all the way down to the rebar!
There's no denying everywhere you turn, Salisbury's infrastructure is quickly falling apart and now it is at the risk of the lives of those who travel over one of the heaviest traffic bridges on the entire Eastern Shore.
You won't see this kind of stuff in the Daily Times because the Mayor won't allow YOU to know just how bad things are around here and the fact that her Staff to too damn lazy to do anything about it. Things like this don't happen overnight. Wanna bet the SHA is out there tomorrow working on this?

I kinda think the Perdue truck drive over that bridge more than the firetrucks and the weight alot more also.
Stop picking on the SFD for once!
That could be very dangerous and cause an accident
Yes, you are correct. Perdue has been traveling over that Bridge for many years and GUESS WHAT. It has NEVER been in such disrepair. Use your head young man before you speak. This Bridge is only showing these severe signs of damage since the new SFD Station opened.
egos must be heavy ha ha ha
As a taxpayer and motorist, I want to know how the State roads let this get so bad. They have been all over that bridge lately and they should have seen it. Mr Comegys is an inspector. If he wasn't busy with fire department business, then maybe he might see this.
Joe, you've got a 99% approval rating from me but this is that 1% that says, YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING. That damage is a culmination of wear and tear by all of the traffic over the years and it's not caused by no far truck and those pesky far-men.

Joe is not picking on the SFD. It is the truth.
Cheefy, is that you again?
Well all the chiefs are big fat slobs so they must be taking a toll on the roads.
Hey, I thought trolls were supposed to be under the bridge.
it would be interesting to see what would happen if the drawbridge had to be closed a couple days for repairs. that should be real cute.
next thing you know See and Gordo will request a landing pad for their emergency helicopter.
Since the extended new bypass is completed, and all those new collector roads. I was under the impression they were planned to reduce traffic though this area. Another flop and failure of city planning.
