YOU HAVENT EARNED OUR RESPECT AND YOUR NOT GETTING IT. AND THAT GOES FOR YOUR SON TO. HE ISNT QUALIFIED FOR LT, BUT YOU PUT HIM THERE. THE ONLY WAY THIS GOES ON IS THE MARE AND CHIEF ALLOWING IT. Lee is still a member and a good firefighter. He did a good job as volunteer Deputy Chief and shood still be. Gordo has given him trouble since he took over, because he stood up for the volunteers. Lee knows what is right and fair for us and Gordo wont listen. Its his way or no way. The volunteers are tired of Gordo and his demands. It use to be fun to be a volunteer, but not now.
Then why don't you guys shit can Gordo and be done with him? I don't know the procedure, I'm sure there is one. As Joe says often ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Grow a pair and shit can Gordos ass.
I can't speak for what goes on in Salisbury, but I know Gordy and See and not liked in the County. They come to the County Chiefs meetings and try to run the show. They can dream up more bull crap than you can imagine. Its pretty clear that Gordy is running the fire department in Salisbury. See doesn't say much he lets Gordy do his talking. If he does speak, he has everyone pissed off by the end of his first sentence. Its a rael shame because Salisbury has some great people. These two are the problem and I feel sorry for the guys in Salisbury.
Gordo and See kissed ass with the county chiefs when the Station 2 problem broke out. After it ended they went back to their old ways and demanding everything be the Salisbury way. It dont fly well here.
Now you see why the members of the OLD Station 2 stood upi to these people. What you see is Bressner's plan to do away with the volunteer corporations. See and Gordy are tilghman's puppets. Hell when was it legal for a government to pass an ordinance to control a corporations money and assets. The volunteer retirement is next. I hope the people are happy with their new improved Fire department.
What does a man with a business to run and wealth need with a fire department. Dont feed me that public service line. Rich people serve themselves and themselves only. With all this volunteer money that appears to be at stake I am starting to get the picture. Does Oland audit this segment of the city.

Oland is not the only one being paid for not working. See gets a check every two weeks when everyone knows Gordy is running the department in the ground.

The Salisbury Fire Department, both vollie and career have a history of changing with the wind and neither has a set of balls. In order to shit can Gordo you need to shit can the mare and cheefy the bald headed troll. But then after they are gone look what you end up with. A bald headed Fatso named Hoppes!
Gordy said that the City has no MOU for the volunteer retirement program. Yes he is right in one sense. However, the City (Mayor) and her clowns never honored any other MOU that was made with the volunteers at Station 2... Why would this wanna be Chief and Queen honor any now. Give me a break let spend the tax payers money. Hell why don t you replace everything at the fire stations.Hell they replaced 2 year old rescue equipment that was on squad 2, that became rescue 16. This is SAD!!!

Yes People this is very very true after the leadership took R-2 from station 2 Vollies and transfered it up town, to become R-16 they took all the Equipment off of it that cost serveral thousand!!!! dollars of taxes payers money. Sold that equpment that was on there for almost nothing! which was less then a year old and replaced it with new. WHY!!! you may ask? because it didnt suit the new admin. because vollies bought it along with the unit that was taken from them. Yes folks the vollies in Salisbury over its history have bought and paid for most of the equipment that it has!!!!! through fund rasiers and county money and great people in the coumminty who helped out! and the city was starting to look bad because it was still running ragged out equipment and could not afford to replace thiers,but yet we can build a wasted new building 20 times bigger then needed !!!! for a few people to spend the night in!Hmmmmm did any body ever think to look at what other depts in the area had built,for new stations.HMMMMMM for that kinda of money you could have built a 2 million dollar station which would have been just right,, and bought new equipment and still have saved the taxes payers 5 million dollars !!!!!! Gordo and troll wow things are finally being exposed. For a later time we need to look at this issue!!! (more people needed) RIGHT !!!!!! lets talk about all people that you have who are good fire fighters and medics doing dum stuff to make it look like you are under staffed. I have heard that when the volunteer retirement was increased by this council...Comegy's voted for it. If this is true he should be turned in to the ethics committee. Comegy's will get this retirement as he was a member of station 2 up until he fled to 16 when the problems started. Oh might add that I heard the piece of crap went on life membership there. Yes Joe dig into the bull crap that went on when Station 2 bucked these self serving jerks.
I think if you checked into it that the volunteers at the old station 2 spent almost 50,000.00 to equip squad 2. The agreement with Higgins and the council was the volunteers would buy truck 2 if the city replaced squad 2. Truck 2 They were bought to be support pieces not to run up and down the city streets...going to get lunch...etc. Besides donations and county money paid for them.Some body should tell the fire department we are in a recesssion. Don t run the equipment unless there is a call. They have enough pick-ups,suv,and cars to do the errands. I hate to micro manage..but something has to be done with this leadership. Lack of you might say!!!!
If the Volunteers do challenge the MOU and rebel, it would be amusing to many. Gordo would bust a vein in his forehead and See would be exposed as the volunteer hater that he is. The funniest act would be how they scramble to mend fences with the paid guys who helped them last time. After the war ended they shit on their main supporters and kicked them to the curb. I dont think they would get much help this time. Those same paid guys would love to watch See and Gordo sink with their ship.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that there is alot of decension and ill feelings for the FD leaders. They know what is going on and they dont like it. The HUSH!HUSH! or your fired phylosophy isn't working here. I dont know if you can fire a volunteer, but they dont seem to care either. My opinion is that the best source for whats really going on is the troops. The brass are directed to say only good things and never disclose the bad. I am glad this site exist, so the public can find out what really goes on in this city. The troops have made their feelings clear and I wish them the best. Things wont be like this forever. Elections are just around the corner.
