Man Accused Of Binding Wife With Chains, Beating Her For 10 Years

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police say what happened down Miller Hollow Road in Jackson County for 10 years is horrendous.

"This is a case that is tenfold of what our average domestic is and maybe more than that. It comes down to what appears to be slavery and torture, it seems to be the aspects of this case," Jackson County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Tony Boggs said.

Peter Lizon was arrested on malicious wounding charges; he may face more as the investigation unfolds.

Sheriff’s deputies say it all began when Lizon's wife showed up at a crisis center in Parkersburg, W.Va.
