Sometimes You Have To Wonder What Makes Some People Tick

Someone is walking through the Downtown Plaza pulling plants out of the planters. This has never been a problem in the past, so what's new. Let's see, homeless, skaters...

Are these plants smokable?

Don't know about the homeless, but I have had a terrible time with skateboarders destroying my property in Ocean City. 9 out of 10 times they are an ignorant group of kids. They have broken planters of mine before and have marred up our retaining wall using it as a ramp. It appears the majority are too stupid to realize skateboarding is not allowed in most places in OC.
Not too long ago when I confronted one of the morons and asked if he would mind repainting the wall he messed up, he looked at me with the goofy look they tend to have and said if I pay him!!!

The skating problem is everywhere. Here in Fruitland they feel they have the right of way on all roads including Rt. 13. I have chased them out of my yard many times. They laugh and tell me to call the cops knowing by the time the cops show up they are long gone.

Wow, what kind of police state can't even protect potted plants. I want my tax dollars back. Isn't there like an entire police department downtown? I guess they don't walk a beat anymore, now that they got all them fancy cars, trucks, boats, horses and motorcycles. Once again police protection fails us.

If they can't reduce 'REAL' crime, who the heck cares about potted plants? Really.

We know who commits the most crime. Target them. Make it uncomfortable, expensive, a hassle, and tiresome for them to live here.

Give them a ticket for spitting on sidewalk. Go right up to the line of harassment, but don't cross it.

Sooner or later they will get the message.
