It is egregious that, in this "land of plenty," nearly one in six is considered poor. 12:36, while I understand your anger at those who suck the system dry, how about all those who cannot get a job, no matter how hard they try. I have a family member in that situation. He certainly wants to work but can find nothing. Feel blessed that you have a job, but don't think that those who don't are "whiners." Most of us are just a paycheck away from being in the same boat.
