Todd Akin

I went to Todd Akin’s campaign site and wrote him an email telling him, as a fellow Republican, that for the good of the party and our chances to take the Senate he needs to drop out.

Apparently, a lot of people are telling him the same thing because this is the response I got:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at www.akin.org.I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.<contact@akin.org>:

Todd has freedom of speech, but he was forced to apologize for saying what he believed in.There are just as many of us who agree with him as there are who disagree. What a shame that he is being encouraged to withdraw.Independant thinking is a rare gift.My regret is that Todd did'nt stick to his guns and charge full speed ahead with his campaign. The hell with apologies.Say what you mean and stick with it NO MATTER WHAT!!

I will support the man. It's to late to find another candidate to beat the current incumbent.

Anybody that believes that when a woman is raped that her body shuts down the ability to become pregnant needs to go back to biology class. Also he then made himself look even more ignorant when he said a doctor told him this. That's not freedom of speech that's being a moron.
