Western Sussex County, DE- The Delaware State Police have arrested one of four men in connection with a series of burglaries from Greenwood to Delmar.

In November 2011, the Delaware State Police began a joint investigation with the Maryland State Police, Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, Caroline County Sheriff’s Office, and Laurel Police Department (Delaware). From mid-August 2011 through February 1, 2012 numerous residential burglaries were reported from Greenwood down to Delmar, Delaware, west of US 13. The primary target of these burglars was firearms and flat screen televisions. Through the investigation, the listed suspects were identified and warrants were obtained for their arrests in Delaware.

Leontray T. Smith was arrested on February 24, 2012 and was arraigned at JP2. He was released after posting $20,000.00 secured bail. Laquante W. Wright, Tayvon A. Dobson, and Floyd Daniels are currently incarcerated in Maryland awaiting extradition to Delaware for their charges.
