ELECTION REDISTRICTING SLATED FOR AGENDA WITH PUBLIC HEARINGS ON PROPOSED FY13 BUDGET

The Salibury City Council’s regular legislative session on Monday, May 14, will feature a presentation and opportunity for public input on two election redistricting proposals, along with two advertised public hearings: one on the Mayor’s Proposed FY13 Budget and one on the Constant Yield Tax Rate. The meeting is called to order at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers (Room 301) of the Government Office Building (125 N. Division St.)

By visiting the City’s website, http://www.ci.salisbury.md.us, the public can view the proposed budget, election redistricting maps, and the briefing book for the Monday night meeting. Links to the proposed budget and maps are found on the home page, under “Latest News. The briefing book can be accessed though the “City Government” menu item at the top of the home page, then through the sub-menu of “City Council” and then clicking “City Council Agendas.”
