Federal authorities said Wednesday they plan to sue an Arizona county
sheriff and his office over allegations of civil rights violations,
including the racial profiling of Hispanics.
The U.S. Justice
Department has been seeking an agreement requiring sheriff Joe Arpaio
office to train officers in how to make constitutional traffic stops,
collect data on people arrested in traffic stops and reach out to
Hispanics to assure them that the department is there to also protect
them.
Arpaio has denied the racial profiling allegations and has
claimed that allowing a court monitor would mean that every policy
decision would have to be cleared through an observer and would nullify
his authority.

I have to show a registration card when pulled over in my vehicle and some sort of state issued ID any other time when dealing with the authorities yet we can't ask those that may be here ILLEGALLY for proof otherwise. Once again we are punished for being legal residents that do the right thing.
That would be the Obama regime doing the punishing my friend.
Eric Holder and the DOJ.
The Federal Government (Obama regime)
does not want to do anything about criminals crossing our borders.
Retaliation for the Sheriff still looking into the Obama birth certificate and his birth place.
Definately what you get for speaking out against Adolf Obama.
Like a spoiled child.
Sheriff Joe is crazy as a loon and has been for years. All of you that think he is not are as crazy as he is. All he does is go around tooting his own horn and coming up with anything that brings him media attention. If he was sheriff here on the shore I'm sure all of you would be singing a different song.
6:54 is right. If Sheriff Joe was here on the shore we WOULD be singing a different song, mostly because there would be REAL consequences for committing crimes. Anyone who feels that DOING YOUR JOB and ACTUALLY ENFORCING the laws of this country is 'crazy as a loon' truly shows where they stand.
Keep up the good work Sheriff Joe. Not everyone feels we should look the other way just because the president and DOJ don't want to do their job!
Racial Profiling needs to be to no account. Actual non-arbituary/arbituary abuse should be addressed otherwise.
