Order Blocking Okla. Islamic Law Measure Extended

A federal judge on Monday said she would rule by the end of the month on a lawsuit challenging an Oklahoma constitutional amendment that would prohibit state courts from considering international or Islamic law when deciding cases.

U.S. District Judge Vicki Miles-LeGrange extended a restraining order blocking enforcement of the new law until Nov. 29 during a hearing in the case.

Muneer Awad, the executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Oklahoma, is suing to block the law from taking effect. It was approved in a referendum by 70 percent of Oklahoma voters on the Nov. 2 ballot.

Awad contends that the ban on Islamic law, also known as Sharia Law, would likely affect every aspect of his life as well as the execution of his will after his death.

"Sharia definitely encompasses how to live my life," Awad said in court. "Everything I do can be defined as Sharia. I have to believe that everything I do is going to be forbidden from the courts."

Awad said he will likely have to rewrite his will if the amendment is allowed to take effect. He also said his faith will be demonized in the Oklahoma Constitution because it is the only one specifically mentioned in the measure.

"All I see when I see this amendment is the state condemnation of my faith," he said.

Awad said he has received e-mail, letters and phone calls attacking his faith since he filed a lawsuit on Nov. 4 to prevent the state Election Board from certifying the referendum's results.

The globalists who control our government cannot allow this Oklahoma Law to stand. We must become subject to International Law in particular, and Ilamic Law in general in order to cause the collapse of our society and culture. Otherwise, the globalists will fail in bringing America into the new world order of Jewish Freemasonic Global Governance.

Islamic Law is used to help erode the strength of Christianity in America. International Law (The Hague Court) is used to erode the U.S. Constitution's relevance.

Sharia law is a human rights abomination.

We live in America under American laws. If your particular religion requires you to do something that is against an American law, you have two choices.

1) Don't do it.
2) go to a country that allows it, and do it there.

Now go away and STFU

No we don't... we live in america where our laws don't apply to anyone but us citizens. when we break them... they don't help us and they sure don't protect us or stop anything that anyone else does from other countries... makes me sick...

Our law says we can't assault anyone yet, "Islamic knuckleheads can say well my religion says I can beat any one of my 5 wives nearly to death and its OK, its my religion and you can't do anything about it". Any then our govt caves in and lets them off the hook, but if you throw something at someone being a American u get locked up for a year... (Over exaggerated a little but nearly true)
