hope the little shi* is under arrest!

Please. If you think kids are being punished for disrespect to teachers, including assault, think again. Unless the teacher presses charges, there is a profound unwillingness for school systems to take action. It happens starting in elementary school.

Even if charges are filed by the teacher they be dropped by the DA. I have experienced this first hand. I was assulted by a student on probation for assault and the charges were still dropped. Unless they are charged as adults, it is an waste of time. The juvinnile system is a joke. The county support of their teachers is also a joke.

And you think teachers are over paid, you all need to wake up about what goes on in pubic schools.

It is not politically correct to mete out consequences to those who wreak havoc in our schools. We must adapt the rules to accommodate their out of control actions.

The teacher can't "press charges" against a juvenile. The police do by referring these cases to the Dept of Juvenile Services.

The article stated the student was "charged" and being referred to DJS....Typically for a juvenile, that is the legal jargon used when a "little shi*" is/was arrested.....

Teachers absolutely can.... it is assault whether the person in question is a juvenile or adult...I know this bc of time spent in a local school
