BALTIMORE —Maryland state Democratic lawmakers unhappy with the Republican governor's State of the State address delayed confirming five of Gov. Larry Hogan's cabinet picks for a week.
In his first State of the State address, Hogan blamed Maryland's anemic economy on the policies of the former governor and the same General Assembly crowd that could help him push his legislative agenda through.
"High taxes, over-regulation and an anti-business attitude are clearly the cause of our economic problems. Our economy is floundering, and too many Marylanders have been struggling, just to get by," Hogan said Wednesday.

Commies aren't going to confirm non-commies easily.
I hope some of the democratic delegates are reading this.
YOU WILL BE VOTED OUT IF YOU DON'T WORK WITH HOGAN.
The only reason you remained in there was because your constituency agrees with you BUT you have to listen to their vote and they voted HOGAN.
DEAL WITH IT.
anon 3:10 pm. I didn't vote for them last time around and not going to in the future. All of them are getting fat on the system and some went on diets this past elections. I hope the rest took a long hard look.
Mike Miller is the instigator -- he should be impeached and removed.
Where this our local clown Mathias in thie outrage?
god I hate being here wanna move so bad
Hope Wicomico County RINOs are paying attention. Public won't put up with your RINO ways either. Get with the Hogan/Culver program or be prepared for the backlash from the voters. People are watching Cannon, MHolloway and Hall. If you continue to support policies and practices of the old regime, you'll be gone next election too.
