INDECENT EXPOSURE INCIDENT REPORTED

Ocean City Police are asking citizens to be on the lookout for a suspicious person who exposed himself in north Ocean City.

On August 9, 2011, at approximately 1 a.m., two female victims (17 YOA and 14 YOA) were walking home through the parking lot of the Whispering Woods Condos at 143rd Street and Tunnel Avenue. While walking one of the female victims observed a white male suspect standing next to a dumpster. The male suspect was naked and began masturbating in front of the two female victims. The victims immediately ran from the scene and called police.

Police conducted an extensive search of the area, however, the male suspect was gone. The suspect is described as a white male, semi-muscular build, 40-50 years of age, 6"2 to 6"5 tall with short dark colored hair.

Ocean City Police are advising citizens who reside or frequent the north end of Ocean City to be on the alert for suspicious activity, walk in pairs, carry a cellular telephone and notify police if you observe anyone or anything suspicious. OCPD recommends you contact the OC Emergency Communications Center at 410-723-6600 to report suspicious activity.
