Stocks have erased essentially all of Tuesday’s robust gains early Wednesday morning, as the extreme volatility hitting markets in recent days shows no signs of abating. European stock markets are being hammered and gold is trading higher by nearly 2%. The Dow was recently off 385 points at 10855.
