Rolling Thunder

3000 vets on motorcycles from across the USA paraded in D.C. the Sunday before Memorial Day, while a solitary, saluting Marine greeted them out on Constitution Avenue... the Marine stood at salute for 3 straight hours, while the parade of roaring bikes kept on coming.... it is held in remembrance of those who've fallen in the military.... the event (or the group) is called Rolling Thunder... George Bush used to meet these bikers before they paraded... the camera is on the Marine a lot... watch his struggles with his emotions, and his struggles with holding that salute... the way he salutes is very touching... his head lowered, his eyes down, in reverence for the fallen... I am an ex-Marine sergeant, and I know what he was feeling... and as I watched him, I could feel it too.... it got to be overwhelming for him... and the tears started flowing... watch what he says when he finally breaks, but keeps right on holding that salute...

Bush used to meet with the bikers but Obama was in Chicago at a event sponsored by lobbyists, too busy to even go to Arlington Cemetary for ceremonies. Outstanding leadership once again, Barry.

Sometime very rare you will be so deep in your mirror alone with your beliefs and morals that emotion will wash over you like a tidal wave. Taking you to a place where only reality exsist, where only the truth lives and at that moment you have become bigger than yourself, bigger than life itself. America, land of the brave & home of the free.

I highly doubt you are "an ex-Marine sergeant" because if you really truly were then you would know there is no such thing as an "ex Marine" I hate inpersonaters!

And you would also know that he is a "Staff Sergeant" not a "Sergeant" which would never be plainly stated as "Sergeant" by a true Marine. You make me sick!

The Quote of being a Marine segerant, was on the introduction of the film. I know because I sent it to Joe. John Riggin, Delmar

What a beautiful video! Thanks for sharing. This is what america is all about and things like this should really be supported. And by the way, our President is to busy catering to the muslims and other countrys remember? He doesn't like America.

Obama and all of his American hating, radical leftist, anti-Christian and socialist loving snot rags who have never sacrificed a damn thing for this country, but have taken with gusto all the freedoms and liberties America offers, while, at the same time, condemning, ridiculing, sabotaging, and apologizing for everything that has made us the greatest and most powerful nation the world has ever seen (and in the space of about 200 yrs!!!), well, they should know---- this one Marine is more of a man and more of a citizen than all of them combined....Obama and his cohorts should wither away in shame at the very sight of this video....
