Elizabeth Harrington Leaves WBOC

Elizabeth Harrington spent her last days at WBOC last week and has moved on to much greener pastures. We're told she's moved to Virginia into a more promising market.

Jobs for Reporters are few and far between, as Elizabeth has been searching for years now. A dynamic investigative reporter, I'm confident she will do well. You haven't seen the last of this young lady.

Sorry to hear she left. She was one of the best reporters WBOC had.
She will be missed.

I saw her this weekend at Shore Stop getting gas. I'm sorry to see her go she at least covered city news without BIAS unlike other news reporting MSM.

This is a training area. That's why this area can't keep good people. Maryland is a slave labor state.

She ran the whole show on a recent weekend, weather and all!

I did see a new weather babe over there this past weekend... Monica ?

The new weather gal is not listed on their web site as of yet, however :(

Good talent leaves here for obvious reasons. Low pay and no real future for most educated ppl around here. Look at SU. Whats the ratio of grads to local jobs. Its not just the media market that realizes the job market here. She should be thankful that she is outta here.

This is a small media market. Very few newspeople plan on staying here. We will constantly see good reporters leave for larger markets. I think that we are the 209th largest market in the country. This is the natural order of things. Be thankful that we had her Hotness for a while. Best of luck to her.
