No question for me - it would be my dad. I want to tell him how much his life, influence and perennial support have meant to me. He left us 17 years ago, before I got to express my gratitude.
My Dad, he's missed so much of his children's lives since his passing in 1991...I'd love to let him know what his presence and guidance in our lives meant to each of us...and how much we still miss him...time heals no wounds; just gives you a little calm to do deal with the loss...
A debate group that included all of the Gods of humanity. That way I could find out if, and if so, who is the real one. I'm thinking I would be talking to myself for the hour.
Andy, Thomas Edison. I'd love to share with him my experiences as a child as I regularly toured the Edison Museum and ultimately what I did as an adult with his light Bulb Invention.
I'd love to sit with Walt Disney and thank him as well for bringing the World so many enjoyable forms of entertainment.
I figure in due time I'll meet with my Family members who have passed but while I'm here on earth, these are just some of the people I'd truly enjoy an hour with.
I'm so fortunate to have shared my peace before my Family members passed. We live in a very busy time, filled with excuses. I learned at a young age to spend as much time with Family as you can and that has paid off for me, anyway.
With this I surprise myself a bit. I have often thought how neat it would be to show Leonardo DaVinci around in this modern world and see his surprise and amazement. Then I thought Jesus would be good. Now I am thinking I would get a jug of martinis and a couple of cigars and sit on the bench with George Burns. By now he knows about God and Christ and I am sure he could sum that end up quickly. But a good cigar, a couple of drinks and a few laughs would be a great way to spend the hour.
