National Pearl Harbor Rememberance Day

This is to advise you that Governor Martin O’Malley has ordered the United States Flag and Maryland State Flag flown at half-staff on Friday, December 7, 2012 from sunrise to sunset. This action is in honor of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, in memory of the brave Americans who sacrificed their lives for the cause of freedom and security of our Nation. This action is taken under the Protocol for the United States and Maryland State Flag. Any questions on the above should be directed to the Office of the Secretary of State.
