Here's What I Mean About The Board Of Education

You see, TODAY they have the below information published at the very top of their Website. It wasn't there yesterday, but it's there now. They do this often. Publish information AFTER the fact so they can claim they informed the public.

MD Business Roundtable for Education - Parent Survey
Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Research indicates that "lack of time" is the primary reason that limits parent involvement in their child's education – but what do YOU say?

You are invited to participate in an important survey of Maryland parents. Your input – which will take approximately 3-5 minutes – is critical to inform our understanding of parent needs and guide the development of programs and tools that support your efforts.

Your help is needed, through the survey, in identifying and developing strategies related to:

• Information you would find helpful in supporting your child's education
• Parent recommended tools/resources
• Current/Preferred channels through which you prefer to receive education information

We hope you will take 3-5 minutes to complete the survey – linked below – by March 15, 2012.

Thank you for your help with this project!

Sincerely,

June E. Streckfus
Executive Director
MD Business Roundtable for Education

Looks like they're trying to get even more money by doing even less.

Who has the time for such a survey?

The two previous commenters didn't notice that the deadline was be March 15th? Today is March 20th! Hello!?
That's what's wrong with people, they only see what they want to see! Instead of gathering ALL of the information!

This has been on their sight. I got a parent link phone call from my son's school asking me to complete the survey before the 15th. I completed it via the link at the wcboe sight. They may have moved it up, but it was there.
