I am on board with 11:27. I will add my thank goodness for my health and for the health of the ones I love. family, faith, and health. That's my bonus.

No and I would never expect one. I accepted a job and the pay that goes along with it. Should additional funds be given I would be grateful and appreciative that my hard work is acknowledged by the business owners. We are building a new business and I have complete buy in to our mutual goals.

NO, and since spouse is not working, what he would have received is obviously not going to happen either. We've severely tightened our belts. I'm thankful I still have a job and can carry the medical benefits for us -- that is a bonus.

No, I get a paycheck and that is all I expect. I am very grateful for a loving family, a roof over our head, food on our table and money to pay for these things. I did not take the job asking or expecting a bonus. I took the job to provide for my family.

Yeah, my bonus was unemployment!

Money wise I'm sound as a pound and will suck up the unemployment until I find a job equal to or better than what I had.

I was deemed as unsatisfactory performance, after almost 9 years of employment and dedication to the elderly people I helped feed and bond with, and got a $3700 bonus in March.

Does that sound like unsatisfactory performance to you? The unemployment office didn't buy it either and the company didn't even try to appeal.

Those greedy corporations just suck the life, homes and every penny they can get from the elderly they get to move into retirement homes.

What they promise you and your loved ones, and what you get are two different things. Much like just putting lipstick on the pig.

My expectations there were to wine and dine the residents to three- four star meals a day while corporate only provided me less than $5.50 a day per person. That's nursing home money!

Don't buy into that crap! It's much cheaper to pay a sitter (CNA) to keep company with your loved one and have a nurse home visit if needed. Assisted and Senior living groups will take every dime you have!

Then kick you out, not if, but when you run out of money. I saw many poor souls out live there money and forced to move out.

Let the REAL truth be known. I just don't know how some people can sleep at night.

No, I'm not "expecting" one. In never do. I'm grateful if there is one but I'd also understand if there wasn't.
Considering I did get a bonus last year, which was one of our worst years in the last 20, I believe there will be small bonuses again this year. Business is actually up, a little.
I'm grateful just to have a job, so the bonus is just that, if it comes, a bonus!

Yes even though with the economy I did not expect it this year.I got a weeks pay and will probably use it on bills since I only work PT.

Anon 1:18 That sounds familiar....my spouse got a $1000 performance bonus at a job and was unceremoniously fired 2 weeks later. And they fought his unemployment claim, even though the letter that came with his bonus called him an "above average employee".Thank you Maryland for being an at will employment state and allowing businesses to treat workers like garbage!

Bwwaahhaa aha ahahahhhaaa! Good one.

Anonymous said...

No, because I do not work at Wall Street.

Anonymous said...

Only if Obama gets voted out, and that will be my lifetime bonus!

Anonymous said...

Must be un-skilled workers who say they don't expect a bonus. If you're not quality people you won't get quality treatment.

And sounds like most of you are happy with that. Good for you. lol
