Ashley Wants Beach Horseback Riding Discussion

OCEAN CITY – A resort councilman brought the concept of horseback riding on the beach back to the Mayor and City Council’s attention this week, hoping for further discussion in the future.

Councilman Brent Ashley initially offered the idea of allowing horseback riding on the beach back in October and has attempted to discuss it further on a few occasions. This week Ashley added that horseback riding on the beach would be an added attraction to go hand-in-hand with the Winterfest of Lights during this time of year.

I can see that in Assateague but not in OC.

What a jerk! He has thought this through just like his dismissal of Mr. Dare for no apparent reason. That was done at great expense to the taxpaying people of Ocean City. Maybe he is trying to raise money to pay that $250,000 bill for Dare's benefits and legal fees. Why don't you wake up?

They don't want pets on the boardwalk because of the fecal matter. :) What do they think horses will do to the beach?

Sometimes I really question people's intelligence.
