Charismatic is my title for Mike. He can charm just about anybody and has proven to be the perfect figure head for Wicomico County.
In my own personal opinion I find it a shame that Sheriff Lewis takes all the credit for just about everything, forgetting the men and women who are actually get things done. Heck, he even forgets us media sources for finding the very criminals they can't seem to locate.
Nevertheless, most would agree, Mike will hold this job for as long as he likes. With all the accusations hitting figure heads, media sources/reporters and politicians today, Mike simply cruises along, proving to be the much needed figure head here on the Eastern Shore.

He's unopposed because those who run against him ate afraid to be fired
I have seen him give credit to his officers many times , he is their leader and must act as such. He answers to the media in an appropriate manner . By the way , it is and has always been the medias job to help find criminals by print or by pictures . This will always be the case , he has recognized this also.
I'll agree he has a bit of an ego , but really , I don't care as long as he's doing the job we pay him for. Also he does the job for Duncan with his response to SBY police calls. Get over it he's the best leader we've had in years. Jealous are you for his attention?
IMHO - he's a glory hog, plain and simple. But someone has to do the job.
Vote for Sheriff Lewis. The sheriffs department is the class of the field since he became sheriff. Before Mike Lewis you never heard about the sheriffs department doing anything.
He will win because of his past performance , he certainly has most of the sheriffs in this country beat for actions and arrests . He's got my vote also .
Agree with 1:52. I will not vote for him. That goes for everyone currently in office , not just sheriff.

Mike and his Deputies are the reason that the criminals stay in Salisbury and not in the County. They know their time is short in the County and they can run wild in Salisbury and not get caught by the laid back Chief and her group.

Will not vote for him after 2 of his deputies beat my nephew unconscious, broke his nose and caused a seizure. And of course the complaint was ignored. Kid was in the wrong, but didn't deserve that. I'm sure you trolls will think otherwise.
5:39 There are plenty of people that went to high school with him and did many things that he would rather not have made public. They are all too scared to come forward.

I'm sure someone will dig up anything in his past that was the least bit unacceptable. But I remember all too well the indiscretions of my youth. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone..." Mike will have MY vote.
The way people besmirch Mike Lewis, you kind of forget he's elected. You voted for him and then diss him at every turn.
He's got my vote and we have a lot to be thankful for the job he and the whole sheriff's office is doing and has done. It's a shame we can't say the same for Duncan she needs to go somewhere else, the SPD does good work but she over shadows things just like our mayor does.

Ready for someone new. As with most political power, the office has gone to his head. Forgotten that he is there to do a job and protect the citizens of this county. They start out with great intentions, and, at first they do, then the power of the office gets to their head. New new blood, with new ideas on the problems we are having in this county.
Who is running against him? When do they have to announce it by?
