No charges for officer who shot fellow officer

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. —The Prince George's County police officer who mistakenly shot and killed a fellow officer will not face charges.

Prosecutors announced Friday that a grand jury declined to return an indictment for Officer Taylor Krauss after seven weeks of deliberation.

Krauss shot undercover Officer Jacai Colson during a March shootout between police and Michael Ford, 22.

"This is excruciating. It really is. There's no happy ending, no matter what. We've concluded the investigation. We've answered the questions," Prince George's County State's Attorney Angela Alsobrooks said.

He shot the man because he automatically thought he was a criminal because the officer that was Shot was Black. If he had have been black I am sure he would be alive. You are a sick people.

1026 you don't know the intent of the police officer in this case. As we now know, if you can't commit to a criminal intent motive, then no crime was committed.

On a serious note, you're merely speculated having no knowledge of the evidence in the case. Quit your rush-to-judgment, it's quite unbecoming and incendiary. You're trying to gin up sentiments that are seriously not there.
