THE DELMARVA DISCOVERY CENTER & MUSEUM

The Delmarva Discovery Center & Museum is excited to announce the opening dates for the new Wally Gordon River Otter Exhibit, which will house 2 North American River Otters. The exhibit will open to the public on Monday July 25th from 10:00-4:00.The Museum will be closed on Sunday July 24th, except for a special member’s only event. Members are invited to an exclusive viewing from 3:00-5:00 on July 24th. Not a member and still want to see the otters that Sunday? Not a problem! Become a member and get your invite to the event!  The Delmarva Discovery Center & Museum on the Pocomoke River serves as a source of learning and discovery for the public through the preservation and interpretation of its cultural and natural heritage.
Located on the Pocomoke River in downtown Pocomoke City, the Delmarva Discovery Center & Museum is a living museum, a place for learning and discovery for visitors of all ages. The immersive and engaging exhibits take visitors on a timeless journey through Delmarva and through the Cypress Swamp. The exhibits focus on the river ecology and the human history of the Pocomoke River and Delmarva. The Discovery Center continues to add to its unique collection, offering return visitors something new to discover each time they visit. We offer a regular schedule of programs, tours, and presentations to families, school classes, youth groups, and other visitors.
