Prime example of how things escalate when the Superintendent lets things go with punishment. This always happen from neglect of duty. What is next high schoolers being admitted to hospitals / killed? A good example is Domestic Violence.

Hospitals? Will they be the next babysitters?

Instead, one of the parents should given a day in jail or community service. If this happens enough, the parent might become a little more caring about the behavior of their child.

There is no punishment to be had.

Wouldn't you think requiring students to go to class would be a pretty basic requirement? The "roaming the halls" is not limited to Parkside.

Spank them with a feather, smack the back of their hand with a Barbie pillow, and shake your finger at them REAL HARD and tell them NEVER do that again! Because that's all you can do to a minor.

Tomorrow, they will think up something NEW to piss of a teacher!

This POS will be suspended for 1 day but if my kid has to defend himself against this POS he'll suspended for a week.

Punish the parents. If they have to pay for what their kids do maybe they will grow a pair and be a real parent.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR:

Mr. Albero here is the latest information on this case involving the former Salisbury Fire Department Assistant Chief who got fired and his buddy Jim Ireton forced the fire chief to hire him back. How in the world did this man get off on all of these serious charges. This man was so drunk he couldn't walk much less drive. He was all over the road and could have run over anyone or their children. He was obviously driving on the wrong side of the road and was a head on collision waiting to happen.

And to top this off this drunk fireman has been seen back in Mojo's numerous times since his encounter with the Maryland State Police.

You really should do a follow up story on this as this is something the public and MADD should know about. Who let this dangerous drunk off the hook Scott Free. This drunk is going to kill someone. This DRUNK had 5 serious charges on him and should have lost his license like everyone else. This guy didn't even get a slap on the wrist and should be exposed for it. Does anyone know the story on this case??

That has to be the most intelligent thing I have read on here today. Maybe our 'leaders' will take heed and make it a reality.

When I was in school, if we were belligerent or rude to teachers we would be expelled from school. Some of the trouble-making students were sent to military-style schools where they were disciplined and taught to be respectful to authority.
