New Castle- Delaware State Police are currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred this morning in New Castle.
The initial investigation has determined that the crash occurred this morning, Friday, May 29, 2015 at approximately 5:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Cox Neck Road, New Castle. The crash involves a single vehicle, and as a result, one person has been declared dead at the scene.
The Delaware State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit has responded to the scene and has assumed control of the investigation.
Cox Neck Road remains open in both directions; however, commuters should expect slow moving traffic past the crash scene.
The investigation into this crash is in its early stages. More details will be released at the conclusion of the investigation.
