There's much more wrong with that photo if I remember correctly. That was a city owned lot sold to Randy Taylor (Barry Tilghman BFF) for pennies on the dollar in exchange for creating a garden center there (which was never really done). If the rumors I hear are accurate, Barrie Tilghman is now partners with Taylor and co-owns this taxpayer rip off. Joe, do you know whether this is accurate?

I don't know what's wrong with it other than I hate it. It's creepy.
Reminds me of the "Arbeit macht frei" (work sets you free) wrought iron arches and gates into the Nazi concentration camps. The same generic black letters. Plaza/parking indicators could be something more lively but tasteful.
My question is are cars even allowed on this side of the parking sign, and go in between the brick posts, past the fencing and onto the parking lot?

11:09 i see it too. Its unbeleavable these posters are stuck on the missing i and miss that it is a parking lot and a plaza. They should put some picnic tables in the parking lot over by the library.
